Great little coffee shop. Reminds me of the little coffee shops in San Diego. Food is great, only thing I would some what negative is how long it takes to get your food. But all in all it was a good experience.

First time here. Very clean and modern coffee shop. The sign outside said handcrafted ice cream but the ladies inside said they have a vanilla milkshake. Bummed my 6yo out. The only reason I gave it a 4 star. Otherwise, great hospitality and drinks. We ordered the Iced White Mocha, Java Chip and Frozen Lemonade. All were great.

Hanging here today after volunteering for Ironman Florida. It’s been absolutely pouring rain all day but this has been a great spot to stay dry and enjoy some coffee and tea. I started with a delicious 6oz traditional cappuccino. Perfect. A couple of hours later I switched to a rooibis red tea and a slice of pineapple crumble cake. Excellent though I would have preferred the cake be a little warm as it was dry and may have been sitting out for a day or two. I look forward to returning next year!

Leaving a review after two visits here. The first time I visited was around Feb/Mar of last year and I remember how pleasant the seating nook by the window was. I went back last week with the bf who enjoyed his iced coffee while I got an iced matcha latte which was just alright compared to the latte I got last year. What I loved was the fact that Amavida sold Askinosie, a company that happens to have chocolate coming from Davao, Philippines. My parents were both born there and had mentioned that the chocolate from there is fantastic so I was glad to buy up the last two they sold. Thank you for having it!

Beautiful coffee house– clean, quiet, and free wifi. Large selection of coffees and teas, friendly employees. Not a fast stop in the morning but would be a great afternoon study or meetup spot. If it’s important to you, the place is organic and fair trade and environmentally-minded but not pretentious. Coffee drinks and tea are great, unfortunately the breakfast pastries aren’t very good.

I found this place by accident while I was just driving around. I came in and was greater with friendly faces and a warm cup of tea. Great place to get work done, or to just hang out. The free wifi is just and added bonus.

Moving to PCB from Tampa, I admit that I was a little spoiled when it came to coffee. Back in Tampa you had your choice of several local chains that did their own roasting as well as Cuban, Vietnamese, and little home based cafes that somehow always had the best espresso. So needless to say I was a little panicked that I wouldn’t have a decent place to pick up something other than a frappuccino. Fortunately both the beach and in town have had a few decent places, and Amavida is right up there at the top. The section of town it’s in is what I would call«up and coming» so I feel a lot is going to grow up around it. There’s already a great yoga studio next door and a farmer’s market down the street that is open on weekends as well as an art studio. I have not had the pleasure of their food, but they do have a wide menu of savory Latin inspired fare along with the usual pastries and even some ice cream from a local vendor! The coffee itself is wonderful and they do a good job of switching up the featured roasts. Their espresso is also top notch and they pile it into their drinks(4 shots for the 24oz iced Americano)! The atmosphere is very relaxing and I’ve enjoyed the brief chats I’ve had with the staff the few times I’ve been able to go so far. They also donate to some worthwhile charities and are very involved in community events. I may live on the beach side, but I will always be willing to take the hop over to hang out here and look forward every time I get the chance to!

I would like to give this place a good review but nothing annoys me more than paying extra for espresso and they add too much ice and then instead of putting on a bigger cup pour down the drain — so where did the espresso I paid for go? My cup or drain? More than likely ½ & ½. That is just bad.
