For the size of this arcade it serves its purpose. Credits on a card are less hassle than hauling around coins. Who wants to get on the floor and chase a quarter under the machine anymore right? I have seen plenty of games come and go so hats off to the owners for keeping things moving and not staying stagnant. Its also a good time killer and distraction from the other shops for those of you that have the«but I really need that thing from that store that I just saw» tag alongs.

I like a good gaming arcade. I have many happy memories of pouring quarters into something like Robotron or Galaga, both of which I sucked at but practiced anyway. I was never very big on the Skeeball games where you’re collecting tickets or the riding motorcycles games either. GameTime has a few of those and a couple of shoot-em-up games in the corner. It’s a very small arcade — only the size of a single shop. It’s not quarters, but credits on a swiped card. While some of the games are a quarter, some of them are a good bit more than that. And with a card, it’s a lot harder to know that the pocket of coins is getting low. But hey, if you’re having a birthday party for little ones, GameTime is a good choice.
