A great little gem. The food was great. The biscuits were nice and fluffy, the corned beef hash was tasty, and the coffee was hot. They also had an extensive lunch menu. Everyone was friendly. Not a lot of tables. but worth the wait if all the tables are full. Those tables are full for a reason!

One of the best biscuits and gravy!!! The biscuits were so soft and fluffy and the gravy had great flavor… wish we were here longer to try the lunch options they had because the menu had some amazing things that I wanted to try… my vegan wife said her veggie wrap was great and loves the fact that they have«boca» burgers for her.

As breakfast goes, this is top notch. Service is great, food is delicious and filling. My favorite is «Jacob’s Favorite». Corned beef hash covered with eggs your way and choice of hash browns, fruit or grits, and a biscuit or toast. Owned and operated by a delightful local couple and their cook/chef in the kitchen. Always happy when I leave.

I went to jesses today and must say it was excellent! Adorable place, I had country fried steak, purple peas, broccoli and cheese casserole and sweet potatoes! There food is extra good! Not like the canned stuff lots of places have! It is a family owned place and they do a great job! Our waiter was so nice and friendly! His sister seemed great 2 and as far as food quality Great and very good portions! It is small but I don’t mind that at all! Go and enjoy them you’ll be glad you did! Go Jesse

If you’re a breakfast person like I am, then this is a must to visit. It is a local, small, family owned restaurant and you won’t get any better service anywhere else. The mom does all of the cooking & it is absolutely amazing. This is the one place that we make sure to stop at anytime we visit PCB. We always get the Papa’s Breakfast and it is more than enough food. The gravy is incredible! They’re only open for breakfast and lunch, Tuesday — Saturday 7am-2pm. Definitely visit… you won’t be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this place, everything was great. It’s family owned and operated. You can tell these people care about their customers. The young man that was our server was so friendly and helpful.

By far one of the best places for breakfast or lunch in PCB! Jesse’s Place is a family owned diner with a variety of daily specials and regular menu fare to satisfy any palate. The service is friendly, fast and what you would expect from a family who apparently loves what they do. Adored by locals, Jesse’s has a hometown diner feel, with Justin(our waiter) making small talk with regulars and newbies like you’ve been friends for years. My wife and I love it. Being semi-locals ourselves, this was our 4th time here and the food/service remain consistently great. Nobody makes eggs like Jesse’s Place — regardless of how you like ‘em, they get them perfect every time. The only area for improvement we’ve found is with the hashbrowns. They aren’t bad and always are crispy brown on top, but we find them to be a little soggy in the middle. Even with that, Jesse’s still gets an A in our book!

Excellent breakfast! I ordered The Classic — eggs, bacon, grits and biscuit(my choices, you have other options-toast/sausage, etc). I added sausage gravy for my biscuit and it was amazing! Bottomless coffee made the day. We will be back to try that awesome meat and 3, the vegis sounded delish! My only criticism was the fake butter on the table-ick.

The key word is little. Limited seating will have you waiting, and without a sunny warm day you will have very limited place to wait. The food was good, but with a party of 4, 2 of us wished we had ordered a different meal. I got the chicken fried steak breakfast. It was hot and fresh, the gravy is thin but very tasty. Can’t explain the problem, but it just didn’t hit the spot. Another person ordered French toast and loved it, next was omelette with another thumbs up. Then the corn beef hash was not a hit. But this person has never ordered it before so they really did not know what they were getting into. Family owned and operated, all working were over the top friendly. You can tell they appreciate your business. Give them a try

Best Breakfast in PC. Locally owned place, family run. Food is over the top good! I had the sausage, spinach, feta omelet and it was one of the best ever. Service is perfect. Lunch is a meat & three with about 25 veggies on the board.

We had lunch the other day. Hamburger steak with corn, and other vegetables. Wife had grilled pork chop and veggies. Good atmosphere and pricing. It reminded me of a buffet without the food in the troughs. Average food. Park chop was thin and grisly. I’d go back again. They were friendly and eager to please.

Jesse’s place is one of those places that’s a double edged sword. On one hand, you want to tell no one about the glorious food because you want to keep the crowd low. On the other hand, you want to stand on top of the nearest building and scream to the world that they need to stop by — bring on the crowd! My husband and I ate here twice during our week in PCB. The breakfast was incredible, the service was top notch, and I felt like I was at home. My husband had the country fried steak breakfast and said it was some of the best CFS he’d ever had! I had the biscuit and gravy and it was divine! Reminded me of my grandma’s biscuit and gravy. I also got a side of fruit — it was nice looking at the pineapple chunks and knowing they were from a fresh pineapple, not from a can. It was also nice to have pleasant conversation with our server. I love supporting family run businesses. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

We stopped here for breakfast while staying in PCB. Delightful food, and a great price! We enjoy pancakes, fresh fruit, eggs, and chicken fried steak. What I loved most was the communal feel of the restaurant. While we waited on a table, a man who didn’t worked there started cleaning a table for us because he said he was a local and ate there daily. Then, the young male server came to wait on us, and he was so friendly– offering other places to eat in the area, chatting about how his family recently moved here, and offering us free drinks to go. Great service, wonderful food. If we return to PCB, we will come back!

We have driven by here many times but usually breakfast is a meal we eat in while visiting PCB. This morning we were out prior to eating and had a choice between Waffle House or Jesses. We choice right coming here. Small local business which is always a plus to me. I prefer to stay away from chains or huge flashy joints. The place is small here and unassuming but clean and the staff are great. Will talk to you like you are family. I had a burrito and hash browns with cheese. They were both awesome! Crispy hash browns with the cheese melted perfectly. The burrito had a cup of salsa in the side and was big and full of egg, meat and veggies. My wife had the ham which was really good. I don’t care for that typically but I had several bites. Sour dough toast was awesome as well. Don’t miss out or choose Waffle House if given the choice here. Support small local businesses. F
