Recovery Room

They recovered all the seats on my flats boat.

Supposedly the Recovery Room is the best boat canvas repair /​manufacturer in the panhandle.
I had all new canvas and cushions made of my sailboat. Took their recommendations. Didn’t argue about the price. When they called and said they were done, the only pieces that were correct were 2 simple snap on window coverings. Everything else, sail cover, dodger, Bimini cover, connector, was a mess… Including ripped canvas to force a fit.
When I called the owner, he came to review the work within just a few days. He agreed that the work was incorrect, ill fitting and I need of reworking.
The second installation saw substantial improvement (otherwise this would be a 0 – 1 star review) but still had problems. Several piece were still ill fitting. Pictures of the problem areas were sent to the owner who agreed that there still problems and that he would take care it.
After the 3^rd round of corrections and review, I began to see signs of carelessness on several other area of my boat and on the canvass (scratches on the new see thru plastics windshield and decided that I would live with the mediocre work rather than risk additional carelessness and damage.
I choose Recovery Room because they are supposed to be the best in the area. I didn’t argue the price or the extended amount of time they quoted for the work. I gave the owner several opportunities to correct the work and paid for all work on time. I think that maybe had he been more involved with the project, the outcome might have been better but I guess a $ 5,000 job is too small for this company to take seriously.
