Sunset Inn

Great spot. Best $ 60 room I’ve had. Nice and clean, new furnishings, spotless bathroom.

Went in 2012 for spring break! Had a great time! This hotel was perfect and home feel to it. They had security at night and one section is across the street where I stayed. Location was perfect and the room was clean, and staff friendly too. Met some awesome kids who were from Ohio who I didn’t know, drove down for spring break. It was awesome. We all had a great time! Price was good too though AAA. Will be back!

This is the only place my family stays when we come down here. Family friendly and a great staff. Have never had a question they couldn’t answer.

This place is great for those on a budget. For the price you pay, you end up with a full kitchen and a clean room. Although there are no amenities and the décor is outdated, the place is clean and the staff is very nice. The only issue I had was that we had found a palmetto bug in the room the first night, but it was the only one and no others were found. The other issue is that the parking lot is very cramped and hard to park in. Other than those couple things the place was great, it was right on the beach and it was cost friendly.

This place really is amazing. Sure it’s not near the Summit and near all the chaos but you gotta take it with a grain of salt. You get the best of both worlds bc it’s right next to the beach and it’s always calm and not too many people but walk down a mile or so and the chaos ensues. the room I stayed in was amazing. Futon, two couches, 2 bedrooms one with two queens and one with a king bed. They had all necessities such as laundry machine, pans, soap, shampoo, etc. really loved my stay here and the service was friendly.

This whole place was perfect!!! I checked in during spring break and for a very affordable price, we got everything we could ask for. A nice room with full kitchen and a little dinner table for 2, a queen bed and clean bathroom!!! The beach is literally right under our feet. Driving around, I see a lot of people having to walk to the beach from their respective hotels or motels and Sunsett Inn is located walking distance to everything in PCB!!! Only about 7 minutes from Walmart Supercenter where you could buy whatever you need! As well as being super close to restaurants and night life! I would definitely come back!!!

As with others, we knew we were getting into a no-​frills vacation room. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. The rooms, even the «across the street» ones, are literally right next to the beach. The price was right and the location was phenomenal.
The room could have been a little cleaner, wifi would have been nice, and the walls were fairly thin… but who cares? Look: over there! Beach! Now back to your wallet: money left for booze! Go have fun! :D

Perfect place for vacationers on a budget! We went in June 2010. The price was great for being on the beach (they offer rooms across the street for a few bucks cheaper too!), our room was spacious and CLEAN with all the amenities, including extra pillows and blankets right in the room. Did it look like a 5 star Hilton? No. Did it need to? NO. The beach is RIGHT THERE! Who cares how outdated the décor is? The staff was super nice and helpful. The pool was big and very well kept. They have a huge beach side deck with tables and grills.
My favorite thing about this place is the location. It’s not on the main strip, so there’s no loud drunks running past your door at 3 am or parties going on next door, but it’s still close enough to check out all the restaurants (check out Schooner’s, it’s delicious!) and shopping you could want!
Overall, awesome place to stay! If the oil doesn’t ruin the gulf, I will definitely be returning. :)

this review needs to be prefaced by the fact we knew we were going to get what we paid for here… we were getting in late on a Friday and had plans to go to a show and leave early on Saturday. We just wanted a cheap spot by the beach that wasn’t totally disgusting — and that is exactly what we got.
The place wasn’t anything to write home about but it was pretty clean and the people were nice and helpful. Sat morning we wandered down to the beach (the beach front rooms on the first floor opened onto a nice little private deck with bbqs) where we got lured into a most relaxing day in a cabana. The beach wasn’t crowded, the water was perfect and the cabana guy was super nice and accomodating. For not expecting much Id say this place was pretty good over all.
