We went in at 8:10 when the restaurant closes at 9. The restaurant was not even half full. The woman asked if we had a reservation. We said no, and then she said in a very condescending tone that the restaurant was booked for the rest of the evening, when it clearly was not. We have been there a few times, and we have always encountered rude staff, but this was by far the worst experience. The food does not justify the attitude of the staff not to the mention the owners. Only bright spot was we went to the Owls Nest next door and had an awesome
experience with good service.

We were in Panora for three days and there are very few places to eat in town. After the single worst meal of our lives at another local establishment the previous night, we were anxious to try the food here. They were closed the previous two days, so we had to wait until Wednesday to eat there. We arrived to find the «OPEN» sign on at approximately 2pm. The sign on the door said the hours were 11am — 8 pm. My 12 year old daughter was the first through the open door where she was promptly ambushed by a lady who physically pushed her back out the door and said they didn’t open until 4:30. Lucky for both of us, it happened so fast that we were locked out before I realized they laid hands on my daughter. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

We locked our bikes up and came in for lunch on a Wednesday after cycling all morning on the rail trail. The Grecko pizza was amazing! So flavorful. The Grecko salad was good too, with all fresh ingredients. A little more dressing and feta would have made it perfect. The deserts all sounded great, so we had the canoli. Like most places they serve it cold (Noah’s Ark serves them warm), but it was very good. We’ll be back on future bike trips for sure… for the Grecko pizza alone! Be aware that the place is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Billy V’s is absolutely FANTASTIC! Everything is fresh, extremely well prepared and affordable. I live in San Diego and the quality of the food and presentation here is equal to anything I’ve enjoyed locally. Do yourself, Billy V’s and the town of Panora a favor and make sure you visit soon — you’ll be very glad you did!

What a surprise for the area! Ordered the Greek salad with blackened chicken, excellent flavors and presentation. It was a gourmet meal. If your tired of fried chicken and all the low quality same crap in the area and your looking for flavors I would recommend going here based on what I ordered, I will be back!

This was fun today! Nice wine selection, Not your average salad, or sandwich toppings, they load it with all local fresh produce all year around. The pizza was the best I’ve had in ages. The shrimp pasta (sorry not sure of the exact name) Delicious. But no matter how full, take the desert home if you have to, or share a bite. It’s all homemade and YUM! Great service!

Excellent food. The salads use local organic produce. The pizzas are OUTSTANDING. Not thin crust, but very pastry and light. They even opened the kitchen 30 minutes early for us. Very friendly and excellent service too.

It’s a must stop treasure in Iowa! Great Italian food made with local AND organic produce. It’s a gem, and you will not be disappointed. Stop in to say Hi to Bill and Pam!

Dido! OMG! I loved this place. It would be a major contender with some of the des moines Italian restaurants. If you’re up for the drive, go for some homemade and homegrown Italian food!
