Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Extremely disappointed. I’ll start off with the positive of this visit. The receptionists or employees were nice and tended to my grandfather.
But for ALL the negatives: As I was waiting for my grandfather to get out of our car, a few employees who were out in the parking lot were whistling and catcalling me. Super unprofessional. Next, come to find out they were out of Toyotas, which was what my grandfather wanted. We didn’t complain about it but a heads up would’ve been nice. After we received our car, we noticed that there were 5 empty water bottles in the back and crumbs all over the passenger and driver seats. Find another company or another branch of Enterprise to go to.

I rented a vehicle here last week and I’m very upset I did because the BMW 328iI I was as expected, incredible now I want one to keep. Well worth the additional $ 10. Nice guys there eho picked me up at the bodyshop.

Unsurprisingly, this location has had other reviewers comment on the horrible customer service. I can’t speak for the employees in general, but only specifically the assistant manager, Malcolm. His level of unprofessionalism is something I have NEVER experienced before, including threatening to fight my boyfriend and telling him to come «find him at 12 o’clock once he was off work.»
Despite having a reservation to rent a car and having previously arranged the deal with Jaime, Malcolm not only refused to honor the deal, but also flat out refused to rent me a car at all and threw his business card in my face, saying I could take my business elsewhere. He also refused to give me the number for the corporate office, and when I stepped to the side to call corporate in an attempt to contact a superior who I could reason with, he threatened to call the police on me for «creating a negative environment for the other customers.» The irony, of course, is that apparently Googling the corporate number on the phone to the side so that other customers could be serviced was creating a «negative environment,» but him having to be pulled back by other employees to prevent him from hitting and fighting my boyfriend in front of other customers isn’t.
When Jaime even attempted to talk to me and figure out what was going on, both he and I were immediately cut off my Malcolm who stated that I was not to be rent a car. I have no idea what I did to deserve this treatment, but I think it may have been a sex or race related discrimination. Either way, I felt very attacked (I’m 5’3, 120 lbs) by Malcolm (he’s 6’4, 180lbs at least) and suggest he attend anger management courses as well further management training before he is to be put into a position of power.
Not only will I never rent from here again, but I also filed a complaint with the corporate office who is supposed to follow up with the regional manager. I will definitely pursue this to the furthest extent to ensure that this never happens to another customer again.

i love this enterprise. we use them anytime we’re in LA, because they’re close to my mom’s house. it’s always cheaper than the airport — sometimes half as much. sometimes it’s actually worth getting an über from the airport to this enterprise to get your car. i’ve also heard there’s an airporter drop-​off nearby and this enterprise will pick you up from there, but i’ve never had to do that myself.
the car selection is always adequate, the staff is very friendly, their policies are reasonable, and if i want to upgrade, someone always manages to find me discount.

Great great place to rent a car! Fast, fun and friendly staff. I needed to rent a car for a couple of days because my car was in the shop and everyone here was very helpful. Not sure what these other negative reviews are about, but I’d definitely rent here again for my upcoming Vegas trip!

I became loyal to Enterprise two years ago and they have not disappointed me ever. Always top notch service, always friendly, always going the extra mile (no pun intended) :). They have a great loyalty program and their vehicles are always kept in great condition. Thanks again Enterprise!

This location caused me to be stranded far from home. Their service took over forty minutes to simply check in a car. They were unkind and generally unhelpful. I will call corporate on this one.

If you are the type of person who enjoys the type of customer service where being belittled, disrespected & treated poorly is key, then the manager at this Enterprise is PERFECT for you! If you love being walked all over, do yourself a favor and ask for him specifically when you go in – his name is JAIME.
The body shop my family uses has a contract with this Enterprise. Fifteen minutes was the time frame given for the waiting period to be picked up. An hour passed and they never showed; mind you the body shop is a little under 2 miles away.
We decided to show up at this location on our own only to come in contact with their unprofessional manager, Jaime. The one who flipped the story saying he never received a call and that he couldn’t grant us the rental car, simply because he put his arrogant, demeaning-​self first, rather than doing his job and being a good example to his staff.
As one who is in the professional field of customer service AND one who simply has common sense and respect for others, it’s easy to say that no one deserves to be helped by this «manager». Do yourself a favor and travel up Sepulveda to the other Enterprise location, or Hertz is down the street as well.

9 out of the last 12 reviews here have been bad, not surprising at all. Avoid this branch at all costs! One of the Enterprise employees that we spoke to on the phone told the body shop that I would get picked up in 15 mins. Over an hour passed, the manager at the body shop decided to just get me dropped off at Enterprise because it was such a long wait. I approached the «manager» Jaime at Enterprise and told him that we were supposed to be picked up over an hour ago at the body shop.
Jaime is the worst manager and gave the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. He was rude and treated me like I was stupid. Instead of trying to help me, he gave me attitude, belittled me, and made excuses saying that he never got a call to pick us up because «all calls go through him.» Seeing how he handles people, I wouldn’t be surprised if he mismanages his employees either.
I have worked in customer service before and a customer is supposed to feel welcolmed and appreciated for their business. Instead he made me and the manager at the body shop want to never come back to this place!
Drive a litte further down Sepulveda to the other branch. Unless you want to be belittled and mistreated, then this place is just for you!

Worst place to rent a car!
Went in on a weekend special & they were so busy they dint have any control of the place. I rent cars all the time due to my business & these guys are the worst. Michael was the manager wich was no help.
They blinded me w/​their insurance wich I dint need. I tryed to call back and explain the situation and Michael expressed that it was my fault for signing. Normally the worker explains & sells you the insurance if you need it. That branch is terrible & should close down. Never again!

I have reservations for Wednesday for a funeral and I went to ENTERPRISE unfortunately during the time they pick me up it was around 5:30 the manager had a very nasty attitude because I didn’t have the proper credit card for the vehicle so I asked for another vehicle since I didn’t have the proper credit card he told me you wanted to give me a working man or a working truck for a vehicle for me to go see my uncle at his funeral I ask for help from somebody else and he keeps saying there is nobody else I’m the manager at the same time he was very rude he didn’t want to help me instead he judge me because I was very dirty from work he thought I was not going to say anything I want all the people in the San Fernando Valley when you go to enterprise on Sepulveda and Roscoe be very careful those people that work there there are not nice people they treat people and they judge people like s*** I’m sorry to say this but I’m not taking my business to enterprise anymore that’s why I own a car and that’s the only reason I wanted to rent a car but not anymore that is my experience when I went to this location on Roscoe and Sepulveda please people please do not go here because you will be treated with no respect

Assistant manager Carlos doesn’t deserve to be a manager. He has poor customer service and is very rude. Definitely wouldn’t recommend going here

Horrible! Do not rent here if you expect to get a car. I took my car to a repair shop just down the street from this location, and made a confirmed reservation for a luxury car. I arrived at the location with my confirmation #, and was told by the reservationist that they did not have a car. He said all they have is a mini-​cooper. I showed my reservation that confirmed a luxury car. He said that he would have to call around and see what he could find. He then helped all the other customers in the office. After 45 minutes, he said that there are no luxury cars in the area, and all they have is tiny sub compacts. I asked why they confirmed a luxury car when they don’t even carry them. He then offered me a Volvo SC40. A small sedan. It was now going on 90 minutes, and I needed to go. I asked what the rate on that car would be, and he said it was the same, as that is a luxury car. Not even close! If you are going to substitute car types, at least charge me the correct rate. He then got aggressive and downright mean. He asked me what I thought I should pay for the car! I insisted on either the luxury car that I had reserved or the correct price. He then said that he found a luxury car, and had reserved it at a local car dealership. He had them drop me off there. Of course, there was NO reservation, and nothing in place. I called back, and he said that he had spoke with Maria. I spoke to her, and she did not know anything about it. He just shipped me off and got rid of me! Is there a way to make a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau? Is that even possible these days?

I got a Enterprise car in downtown LA due to a car accident. They only had one full size car with a spoiler on trunk for me to choose from. While driving home when speeding up on the freeway you can feel the stall each time the gear changes on a automatic vehicle. So I went to the one by the body shop. They had no full size car for me to switch and also gave me the only car they say it’s available on the lot. Don’t mind a smaller car but the interior of this car is filthy from coffee stains, food crumbs and the dash is covered with cloud of dusts. Asked the agent if they have another car the next morning, he said nothing. But I see over 20 small size cars and they obviously don’t want to help me to get into a descent car. Disappointed with their service and the cleanness.

Just picked up a car from them today. I’ve always use costco travel for all my rentals and this time is no different. I hate to argue with people about not picking up additional insurance from the rental agency. I’ve two full auto coverages from two different insurance companies. (One for my two autos and one for my RV). In addition, my chase sapphire preferred will cover secondary. On top of all that, I have an umbrella policy which will cover what’s left. The lady in the office had to argue with me about how my costco Amex will not cover the insurance. Yes, I know that but I am not using Amex! And all my policies are more than enough to cover a Corolla for 3 days! I guess the bottom line is that I’ve got a great rate through costco and someone isn’t happy about that! It’s unfortunate as I always have good experience with Enterprise. To be fair, they did come to pick me up. Just rented from Vegas airport last week and the enterprise rental service there was top notch!

What is there to say? Staff tried to sell additional insurance coverage and I said no. It should be just that. Plain and simple. No need to argue with customers!

I’ve rented vehicles here numerous times and I always received the utmost professional customer service.
A few months ago, I was involved in a major accident, leaving me without a vehicle for about 3 months. I rented vehicles pretty much every weekend until now in mid-​May for work. That means I’ve been to this place at least 9 – 11 times to pick up the vehicle, and another 9 – 11 times returning it the following Monday. That’s 18+ Times! Can you believe that? Luckily for me, Enterprise had their «weekend-​special» deal going on so I didn’t necessarily break the bank renting here. I also work close to home so I’d just commute on bike when picking up or returning the vehicle.
Customer service has always been phenomenal! I’ve worked with Thor, Alphonse, Christian, and a few other of their colleagues and they’ve always been able to help me out no matter what. Every weekend was a great day to rent a car. I have no complaints whatsoever.
If you’re patient, kind, understanding, and respectful when coming here to rent a car, I’m pretty sure their staff will treat you the same way. From my time renting here, I’ve witnessed a number of car-​rental customers that seemed a bit more difficult to attend to. Perhaps these tips will help you from what I’ve observed:
Tips:
+ Book your reservation online to save you and the staff the time and hassle. If you make an enterprise account, you can rack up points that go towards future car rentals! Plus, you won’t waste the staff’s time when they pickup the phone and have to take down your info. Less calls during the day mean that they get to help other customers who are already on site!
+ Get all the information you can from your Insurance Company before renting your vehicle. Some people have misconceptions that they can rent almost any car they want and it will be all paid. But when they find out otherwise, they claim «this and that» and then they lash out at staff. Get your information straight first! Don’t blame the staff.
+ Pretty sure you have to prove that you have insurance before renting a car. But if you’re not insured, perhaps purchase the insurance that they offer. You never know what may happen. Oh, and it would help to bring a valid driver’s license and formal ID! & maybe a way to prove that you are financially able to pay for the vehicle.

Thor and staff extremely helpful. They even double checked by phone after taking the car to make sure it was all good. The whole staff very friendly and you could tell they all were having fun and enjoying their job. Wish all places could do the same–

I have to be fair and honest with the 2 employees here, Lara and Aizmat (hope I spelled his name correctly). They were helpful and great with customers 5 stars for both of you.
It is very unfortunate that this is the closest branch where I’m staying at. Calling Enterprise Corporate to kindly please train the manager «Poirsha Woolfork» not to be RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL to customers.

I just had the best experience at
Enterprise Iin Panorama City. They have the nicest most professional staff members. They are very well trained and even call to say thank you for using Enterprise and callef again to see if I was happy with the service. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
