The servings are plentiful. Barbecue, lechon kawali and Sisig are the best.

I’ve finally found the best Papaitan in town! During this visit, I bought a pound of pork sisig, papaitan and dinuguan. I’ve been to pinoy pinay, good-ha, toto’s, leelin, DJ bibingkahan, manila sunset, grill city, barrio fiesta and ateh’s kitchen, so far, Isla grill stands out. This is the most authentic papaitan and dinuguan that I’ve tasted for a long time. I’ll definitely recommend this place to my family and friends… Thanks isla grill, my search is over!

It’s your typical Filipino fast food restaurant. The food is decently priced. Lots of deep fried food that is greasy; that’s how us Flips like to do it! Pro’s: Hot food ready to go. Combo’s are affordable. Food tastes pretty good for fast food and they give huge portions. They don’t charge extra for combo if you choose something fried. Con’s: Restaurant is soo tiny. There are literally only 2 tables and 6 chairs. If you come during lunch on a weekday good luck finding somewhere to sit down. It’s located in a small shopping complex on a busy corner. There are limited parking spots so that’s also a challenge. WARNING: do no park at the Seafood City parking lot and walk here! You will get ticketed by the parking lot attendant.

This place is by far the best place to get authentic Filipino food. I am in love with their calamari, sisig and bbq pork! I always come here whenever im craving Filipino food. They also have an amazing catering services. The prices are very reasonable.

All Filipino pre-made/fast food places are pretty much the same. Isla Grill stands out from the crowd. They’ve ALWAYS got si-sig(think Filipino carnitas) which most only make once a week. They’ve always got crispy lechon(pig) with liver sauce. You’ll always leave full and you’ll always leave with plenty of money left over in your pocket. They’ve recently started bottling their own Filipino Style BBQ sauce, buy some — it rocks! !! — Support your local small businesses –!!

Cheap as Fuck. But so Damn good. I told myself I’d only go here once a month since its basically stroke invoking, pure cholesterol overload but it’s so worth it. I firmly believe it’s the best sisig in the valley by far and wide. Always freshly fried and garnished with jalapenis and extra fried pigskin. The chicken bbq is really good too, perfectly marinaded and flavorful. Totally leaner than the sisig so get it as a second item. Not too sure how the traditional stews and shit are bc I don’t think this is that type of place. it’s like going to Morton’s and getting a salad. Get the bbq and fried shit. Yolo. $ 6 per combo can’t be beat.

Small place and I rarely find a place to sit down. The parking lot is a nightmare! On the other hand… Sisig– so yummy especially with the small chicharon. Fish sisig– love it! Especially if you’re not up for the pork sisig. It seems like the healthier version. Fresh lumpia– I have no idea how they do it but I can eat 3 of these suckers. Sooo worth the try.

What I love about this place: BBQ Chicken and Fried Calamari! Price is reasonable. Yes the quantity of food given is good for either two meals or for two people! Why 4 stars: Wished there was more tables and seats for customers who would dine in!

Last night my wife bought sisig worth $ 9 in a small cup which was pretty expensive but since it was sisig so I let her slide. Not only the sisig tasted too sour but the meat were the wrong parts of the pork. Meat was overcooked, no flavor and too spicy. Also she got some grilled fish which was not evenly cooked. I would never let her come back to this place. You’ve been warned!!!

I come here for the fried calamari and the barbecue chicken but honestly I’ve tried so many different dishes and they have all been pretty tasty. I started coming for the fish and started sampling other things because of the aroma and look of the cooked foods. The parking is horrible and it’s hot at all get out in there but the ladies that serve to are really nice and the price is always right — cheap!

I went In to get a menu list/food selection and it was the best decision yet. considering growing up in Virginia Beach and there’s only one Filipino spot in the entire city. California is the best place to sample Filipino food like no other states in US. The Husband ordered lechon kawali and crispy pata and it was delicious. They give a whole load of dipping sauce and the price is decent. We ate most of it before the rice was even cooked in our little humble rice cooker. It’s something I would eat once in while but not all the time. You can feel your blood pressure an pulse rise after 30mins. Yes it is good food but let’s be honest it is not good for you health. I’ll probably go back again and try out the calamari and seafood next time.

I only come here for the fried calamari. It is soooo good. I think it was $ 10 per pound; I only got half a pound and finished it on my ride home. The parking is bad if you come at busy times. The lot is small and is shared by other small stores.

More if a take out Filipino restaurant. Very little room for dining in. Not a lot of food choices.

Cheap Filipino food from a hole in the wall. What more can you ask for? Personally, I didn’t get any of the fried foods. You can get the fried foods per lb, such an awesome deal. I ordered the BBQ combo. Can you say CHEAP? I got the Pork BBQ with 2 heaping scoops of rice and some soup. So worth it! I didn’t even finish eating it. My parents had ordered the Bangus and the Chicken. I tried both of theirs and they were good. The Bangus was on POINT! There isn’t much seating as this is definitely a To-Go type of place. BTW, one thing that sucked — PARKING. We were there pretty early as it was an early lunch but parking was still sucky.

Do you love eating tasty fried Filipino food the doctors told you to stay away from? COMEHERE! TIP: The parking lot is really small, and the spots are tight.(i drive a truck) This is my favorite place for Filipino Sisig and fried Dillis. Sisig is a deep fried pork dish with crunchy hog skin with onions, peppers, ginger in this super savory, sour and sweet brine made of vinigar and soy sauce. SOGOOOD! You gotta have it with rice though. What makes there sisig special is that the cruchy hog skin is just that… crunchy. Also you get just the right amount of savory and sour. Must TRY! Dilis is a battered little fried fish. Its basically Filipino bar food, best eaten with good company and an ice cold bottle of beer. It’s crunchy and especially good when dipped in thier vinegar sauce infused with onions and garlic. Youll aslo find the usual suspect of authentic Filipino fast food, like beef steak with onions and broth, grilled pork ribs and ever so delicious Sinigang. They take plastic and cash, Soda served by the can and fried items are bought by the pound. Make sure you dont go here before a doctors appointment or before a wedding where being fit and skinny is a prerequiste to «looking good.» Come here… give your tastebuds a thrill and enjoy.

Awesome place to buy grilled stuff. They have a wide selection of food. I always buy food here to take to parties and get together. The staff/servers are always helpful and friendly. The downside of this place is a very small dine in area. I guess it was designed for to go only customers. But all in all it’s a sure win when it comes to food. Well recommended.

Juicy Liempo and Chicken The little hole in the wall place offers pretty good authentic Filipino Food. I was very impressed with the Liempo which is like a grilled pork chop with vinegar sauce. Even without sauce the liempo is awesome. I’ve only tried 2 things here so far but I will definitely be back. For 2 entrees with soup at $ 6, that is not bad at all. They give a lot too. I usually can’t even finish the food so I have food the next day which makes the lunch at less than $ 3. I had another entrée of chicken and onions. Kinda like a bistek(beef steak) but instead they put chicken. I liked it a lot but it was oily. But it tasted good kinda like an adobo chicken. The free soup was not good though, it only had oily soup without anything inside. That is what knocked it a star. You can choose rice or noodles and the noodles were good, kinda bland to eat alone, but good with the other dishes. I also got the ginataan and that was really horrible. Probably one of the worst ginataan I’ve ever had in my life. It was about $ 3 and tasted horrible. I will come back and try their other dishes. Their bbq looks really good.

A literal hole in the wall. A little pricey, since they charge $ 8/lb. for FISH. I had the«lumpianf shanghai», the little deep fried rolls. They had a filling mix of chicken, beef, and pork. Didn’t really taste so good. What made it acceptable was it was freshly made and hot. I’ll try this again with the other stuff they sell.

Everything was really good and fresh and the people were so friendly! Usually when I go to a Filipino restaurant they are rude because I don’t speak Tagalog! But hey it’s not my fault I am only half Flip! I can assure you that I can pronounce all of the food that I want to eat just like I was 100% Flip!!! Me and my boyfriend both ate for under $ 8; you can’t beat that! Parking does suck but it’s worth it!
