Scam and deceptive. I won their«free car giveaway» in their raffle on the 17th but it was fraud. After winning I was informed that due to an unknown lien on the title that I had to pay 2400 dollars to actually get the car I won. I refused and they said they cant help me and too bad. No ownership was on them and hence they defrauded all who in good faith donated money to this cause. I have hired an attorney and am pursuing all avenues to discredit this business and to alert all that this wont be tolerated.

My first experience here was awful. When I went into the store, there were children running around everywhere and loud music was being played. No one greeted me or acknowledged my presence. When I asked for help from the older woman who worked there, she asked me why I couldn’t figure it out for myself. Everything was disorganized and it looked like a yard sale. Definitely had a skeevy vibe to it. This is not what I expected from a veterans thrift store– it seemed like a scam and not what it was made out to be. I promptly left and I will not return ever again.

I love this place. It’s not always that I find something here, but when I it’s awesome. I picked up a vintage yellow folding stool for $ 10, a few milk glasses, a couple of frames and a few other things. The staff is amazing and helpful. At the very least, it’s worth a stop in.

I LOVE this place!!! The two men working there were super-friendly both times I went! I was so happy when I walked out with the following: 5 men’s dress shirts, 1 pair of women’s dress slacks, 1 coat rack, and 1 pair of roller blades, ALLFOR $ 23!!! I went on a Sunday both times, and the place was empty. I don’t understand why, because it’s seriously one of the best thrift stores around. I don’t go for home furnishings, so I can’t disagree with Kathryn’s review, because I’m not sure. But, I think everybody should check this place out! Not to mention, the money goes to such a wonderful cause! Yay for Veterans Thrift Store!

A little hard to find but actually a lot larger than it looks. No one was particularly friendly and I don’t think they have any carts or bins to hold your things while shopping but the selection was better than any of the other thrift stores I’ve been to in Arlington. Unfortunately they priced anything I would be interested in at actual retail value so IMO, takes away the«thriftiness». A silver plated platter was $ 45, a blue & white pitcher $ 15, & a sewing table at $ 99. I’m sure I’ll be going back though.

I think this is the best thrift store in Arlington. I only really go for home décor and furniture to customize so I’m not sure about their clothing selection, although it looks pretty big. This place looks tiny from the outside but it goes really far back when you walk in. I think it’s the only place in Arlington that has reasonably priced furniture and a fairly good selection of it. They have a pretty large selection of everything. The lady that works there was incredibly friendly. I would go back for sure. I can’t believe nobody else has wrote a review for this place. By far superior to the others around it.
