If you want to feel the local Paonia crowd and have a great locally brewed beer, this is as good as it gets. They use all local ingredients, brew it just half a block down the street, and offer a six beer taster that gives you a great introduction! The beer is very good. The staff is friendly and the local crowd is great to get to know. We were told by our hostess at Agape Farm and Retreat that Revolution Brewery was not to be missed, and we definitely agree. We loved the fence in the back made up of old skis and the very quaint interior. We enjoyed it very much. A highlight for the North Fork Valley and Paonia. Highly recommended.

We love our local brewpub. Great service, fun atmosphere, and good beer. You can ask for a taste before you order to make sure you get something that fits your desires. They also sell peanuts and beer boiled brats in case you get hungry while drinking. Growler prices are quite reasonable. Overall a small town gem worth a visit.

We were staying in Aspen for the weekend and decided to mosey over to Paoria with the sole intent of going to Revolution. Overall very decent beers. Nice location in a very quaint town. They also have a decent root beer if you happen to be the designated driver. For us, a flight of six beers and a pint of root beer cost $ 12. They do have cute«beer can» glasses that are apparently $ 10/each. When we went to head to the car with purchased glass in hand, one of the proprietors standing outside said«You bought a glass right?» To which we said yes. She then turned to her friend and said that the customers tend to walk away with the glasses a lot. I suppose that’s where charging $ 10 per glass helps average things out. It rubbed me the wrong way, but what are you going to do. I get that some customers steal, but that isn’t me. If we were going to steal it, the glass wouldn’t have been in open view. In my opinion, it would have been more appropriate for her to have asked the bartender if we had purchased a glass. That’s how you avoid veiled accusations. Again, great location with excellent beers. If you’re in the area you should stop by.

Revolution’s beer is my favorite, not just in Western Colorado, but anywhere I have ever been that also happened to have beer. I am visiting for the summer from Park City, Utah, and I plan to bring a flat of beer back with me smuggled in my trunk. It is that good. My favorites were the LimePA(mind blown), the Lavender IPA(mind blown again) and the Miner’s Gold, which is my go-to beer. As good as the beer is, the folks and the atmosphere are just as perfect. This small town crowd is friendly, diverse, unassuming, and not short on conversation. Every time I visit I meet a new person just as friendly as the last.(Which I suppose says volumes about this no-stoplight town.) They serve the brews inside an old church, and the patio is surrounded by a fence built with skis. I found myself here on a weekday during an open mic night this summer. A gentleman took the stage to sing a few songs, one of which was a song about Revolution Brewing. Old and young, dogs, staff, everyone sang along, celebrating beer brewed the right way. It really is a great place to enjoy a brew. Lastly, they sponsor dozens of good works around the community, and do it all with sustainable brewing practices. The brewmaster even grinds the grains with a bike. Five stars only because Unilocal doesn’t have six. Fantastic place.

There’s a reason for all these five stars. This place is perfect. Amazing brews, sweet back patio with a ski fence and shade umbrellas, sustainable practices all the way, and terrific staff who love to talk about beer. Viva la revolution!

I love the new brews each time we visit! Limepa was tasty and summery. Better come soon if you want to try it before we drink it all ;-)

If you are thirsty, and if you are anywhere near Paonia, you NEED to swing in for a beer at Revolution Brewing! This micro brewery is located in a cute little cottage just off the main drag. You will be sure to meet plenty of colorful locals who are interested in chatting with you out on the backyard patio. There something for every palate on tap, however, I don’t think their IPA can be beat! They also have two options for flights, a four beer taster and a six beer taster. Be sure to order a brat made with local lamb… the perfect compliment to your brew!

Revolution isn’t just in the name, as they have taken an approach of being debt-free and growing the business over time with a small expansion each year, and they make it a point to use local ingredients and support other local businesses in everything they do. Friendly bartender and quaint atmosphere in an old church(with the apropo Ben Franklin quote«Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy» over the bar) with bar and benches made from a fallen spruce, and with a nice beer garden out back. Tried the Miner’s Gold and The Hefe and both were excellent. Highly recommended, must stop for any beer lover passing through the area.

Small, friendly and with an impressive range of beer for a nano brewery. Interesting location in an old chapel with a back and front beer garden and the brewery itself just over the road in an old gas station. Try the SEIIPA you will not be dissappointed.

This is a bittersweet 5-star review, because Revolution beers are currently not available on my side of the Continental Divide. Visiting this tiny brew-pub really made my weekend trip to Paonia, and I was dismayed that they were out of six-packs. I was looking forward to sharing this amazing beer with friends here in Denver. If you’re ever on the western slope, make sure to stop in here for a pint or two, and make sure to taste whatever creative stuff they have on tap. If you eventually see their products in your city, snap them up!

When it comes to microbreweries, or in this case nanobreweries, Revolution is the tits. Made with only the finest local ingredients, Revolution produces a number of different style of ales and the occasional lager. Revolution is located in an old church, so come on down and say a prayer to Dionysus.
