Beginners welcome. I have recently started playing and found this to be a great place to start. I have used the driving range and putting green and it is a casual place to learn. I will update as I experience more courses and improve my game.

I purchased a group coupon for miniature golf at Papio Greens and redeemed in on Sunday, September 30th. The mini golf features 36 holes. I found the course to be in disrepair. The astroturf material was ripped up and rippled in many places, and some of the features(such as the mailbox) were broken. Between the two 18 hole courses, there were a lot of repeats in design and most were very simple and unoriginal. I agree with the previous reviewer that the mini golf is not good for adults. However, given the disrepair of the course, I would say it is unsafe for children as well. Despite the fact that it was 70 degrees at most outside, it was extremely hot and stuffy in the clubhouse. The man working inside was unfriendly. When asked how much a refill for pop is, he gruffly said«there are no refills because my prices are already so reasonable,»($ 2 for a 32 oz.), which leads me to believe he is the manager or owner. I got the impression that added the mini golf hastily as an afterthought — «we have golf — why not miniature golf too?» Fail.

The gimmick is simple, the driving range is a lake. Koooool. The range balls are terrible, no distance. There is also no grass to hit off of, just mats. Not a fan. I don’t use the range here. The putting green is well-kept. I like it! The 18 hole course is all par 3s. I like the about half the holes the other half are all to similar… those are true pitch and putt holes. A few years a go the course was in terrible shape, terrible greens and lots of water damage. It has gotten better. I don’t play here often, maybe 3 – 4 times a year. They do offer a good twilight rate. It can get buggy! There is a putt-putt course for the kids. Its simple, best for young kids. Not fun for adults. Clubhouse is simple, they might sell balls and tees but nothing«golf» beyond that. They do offer food. Not sure on beer.
