Taco Tuesday is my favorite. $ 1.50 tacos
If you have the time to head up to parachute I would definitely go. Or if you are driving through STOP! It’s worth it !

Great delicious food! I stopped by here on my way through town. Got two pupusas with cheese (get the vegetables, like a pickled coleslaw) and plantanos fritos with bean and sour cream. All was really tasty. Never had salvadorian food before but it made me feel right at home!

On our way thru to Denver, had randomly picked Parachute as the place to stop. So very glad to be referred to Nalini’s by a neighboring business. Food was excellent, with one ordering taco plate with steak, chicken, and shrimp, while I got the out-​of-​this world carne asada. Very friendly service, with nice chitchat about each other’s travels, short history of Parachute and whatnot. We were very full and absolutely satisfied.

Very cute little house with a dedicated staff who love food. Everything is homemade — and delicious. The people are charming and the prices are on the low side. We had the Papusa chicharron — delicious!

Always a joy to stop in. Authentic food. Great people. Hope they stay in Parachute ! They serve Mexican and amazing food from El Salvador. The pupusa s are classic goodness. Can’t get enough.

Amazing and totally unexpected. We are from Denver and ironically have a difficult time finding Mexican food this good. Food made from scratch and better than the pictures do justice. The cook/​server was helpful and friendly in this little roadside gem. We hope it stays around so we can visit again. Highlights were the fajita quesadilla, variety of salsas and shrimp tacos.

What a fantastic place to randomly walk into! I saw Salvadorean cuisine, immediately craved pupusas and pulled off the freeway. Apparently the woman who runs the place was out from a surgery but Victor was filling in and made me two stellar pupusas con chicharron. They make the tortillas and horchata in house too!
Place itself shares a small house with a salon and the neighbourhood feel really comes through here.
Definitely stopping back here again on my way through.

Good and authentic Mexican/​Central American food. Excellent service… the cook is the server and her son is the owner. She is extremely nice and hospitable. She was very excited when I read her Unilocal reviews to her because she had no idea her business was on the Internet. The restaurant is very small and the food is homemade. Extremely affordable. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is inside what used to be the living room of a small house. Reminds of us the small family restaurants in Costa Rica where the cook serves food out of her kitchen at home. We will definitely return.

Stopped in for a quick bite of lunch. At the time, I was the only person there, but one other came in as I was being served. I had the 3 tacos plate, Mexican style. Very good.
This is a smallish place. with only 5 – 6 tables. The server is also the cook.
I will come again with the family.

We were passing through at lunchtime and just happened to stop in. If you want a lunch made with love and care and a good conversation, this is the place. Homemade flour tortillas, shredded beef was so flavorful on my sons burrito. We got the pupusas with soft tasty outsides and flavorful insides. Would strongly recommend this place.

Excellent food. Nice people. 11 of us walked in and got a variety of things. All of them were excellent. Will be back next time I pass through.
