Michele has done my nails for 15 years. She is the best in town. I can’t imagine anyone else to do nails. They are perfection every time. I have acrylics.

Best nail service I have ever had. Michelle does an outstanding job!

The worst mani-​pedi I have ever had. It began with sitting in a soiled desk chair and having my feet soak in a Rubbermaid type basin. I had to ask for my toenails to be cut as only a file was used on them. One big toenail ended up long and the other short. The polish on my toenails were lumpy and uneven, and I had to ask for the smeared polish on my cuticles and toe skin to be removed before leaving. Cuticles were never maintained, only ignored.
Fingernails…The nails were never soaked and the cuticles not trimmed or pushed back. The only thing done was to have the old polish removed and the new polish put on which I could have done myself. No hand massage nor foot massage as is done in every other salon I have patronized. If I had not already prepaid thru a social website for the mani-​pedi, I would have left the salon and not looked back Then to top it all off I was offered a discount price to return! It took all inside of me to keep my mouth shut. Do not book any nail service with this business. The worst.

I followed Michelle from the beauty academy to her present salon and in the past six months the environment has changed from positive to very guarded with co-​owners christine and Michelle judging, smirking and making guests feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. my color wizard Kat left the end of the year and Michelle had 2 weeks to get the formula documented in my files but instead chose her own formula that didn’t match my re growth. When I went in to show her the problem she said «well I think it looks fine but I’ll get back to you». After waiting 2 days for a follow up from this salon owner I chose to pursue a new hairdresser who will listen to my requests. I feel like it’s Her way or the highway and I’ve chosen the highway. Is it possible that ego is stronger than talent?

I’m not sure what I liked better; Michelle and Kat’s funny personalities and the relaxed environment or the AMAZING job Kat did on my mani/​pedi!?!
I am a nail techs worst nightmare. Picky beyond. Inspecting every millimeter for flaws and wanting them fixed. But Kat’s work is flawless. I have a big event this weekend so I decided to treat myself to the combo after seeing Kat’s work on a friend. Am I glad I did! My hands and feet look perfect. Perfect. And that is the highest compliment I can pay being a perfectionist and all!
I only have one problem… I’m hooked. I am going to have to start diverting funds into a special «nail account» just so they can always look this awesome!

The only reason I would give 2 stars is because Kat was very nice and funny. But my shellac manicure from her was probably the worst manicures I’ve ever received. I don’t know if she did a bad job because I had an Amazon Local deal and she just rushed me out. For one she cut my cuticles dry, the shellac is bubbly and uneven, there’s polish on my leftover untrim cuticles, and she didn’t even shape my nails when she filed. In the end, I will never ever come back.

I have recently discovered that Kat and Michelle are not only the sweetest women with amazing talent when it comes to nails but they do a great job on hair too!
It takes a lot for me to trust someone new with my hair but looking at their hair color and seeing a few of their clients I was willing to trust Kat to do my roots, the first step :) She and Michelle did a great job translating my color formula from a previous colorist and did an amazing job on my hair. Soon I will be returning to let them do my highlights!
I am so excited that a friend discovered this place and recommended it to me because Kat and Michelle and wonderful and its nice to have a new place I can feel good about to take care of my hair and nails.
Also if you haven’t gotten the mood changing nail gels you are missing out on half the fun of the manicures here.

I was visiting Scottsdale and searched Unilocal for reviews of a nail salon before booking any appointment. I booked with Kat at JayneeBell; she knew I was just visiting the City yet she gave me the best Opi shellac french tip manicure I have ever seen, and I have been doing shellac manicures since they were first introduced. She used a nail art tool for the french tip instead of a brush, cool natural look. I mentioned I had chopped my bangs off while on vacation and messed them up and Kat offered to provide a textured bang fix, at no charge. The bang fix was so excellent I asked to schedule an appointment to do a complete haircut. Many times if a stylist or nail tech knows one is visiting they won’t go the extra mile to impress. Kat was such a blessing and I will ask for her EVERYTIME I come to this town.

Michelle was great — she is super nice and her prices are awesome! The woman who did my shellac manicure did a great job. I bought the manicure off of Amazon Local and when I was in the salon I bought 3 more! Very happy I found this salon. :)

Michelle is awesome! Super location with posh décor; and most importantly A+ service. On-​time appointments, funny, warm conversation, and how handy is that getting my hair touched up AND a manicure at the same time.
Thanks for a great experience, it will be my new go-​to for sure!

Michelle is an ABSOLUTE rockstar! It is true she is so «Glam that she sweats glitter!» (Its posted on her station!) This review is for the last 8 months, countless haircuts, styles, highlights, and overall gossip sessions (the good kind.) I felt conflicted when I was there sharing my secret weapon in beauty with others (I didn’t want to fight for an appointment,) but I wanted to tell the world how amazing she is! When I initially found Michelle and JayneeBell I was doing a Unilocal search in my area for a hair cut. I needed a therapy cut-​meaning I was stressed and emotional and needed a change! She not only was able to fit me in for an appointment that same day but took the time to really get to know me when I came in. I gave her full creative license over my hair and man did she WOW! She kept layers, and even highlighted my hair in November. I should note this highlight appointment in November was after a night of drinking, she looked out for me, kept me hydrated and even used «hangover voices» in the salon. She would always remind me the day before of my appointment and was understanding if I had to postpone my appointment. I have had some of the best shampoos (and most relaxing) I have ever had here. I ALWAYS left relaxed and feeling fabulous! I can’t say enough good things about Michelle and her staff! I was lucky enough to have my hair done by this amazing chica! If I ever become rich and need a stylist-​I am flying this home girl out to the east coast!
I write this now because I have moved away from Scottsdale and I want everyone to go to Michelle! You wont regret one minute of this experience! (She’s so amazing that I cried at my last appointment with her a few weeks back!)

Michelle Duvall is amazing. I love my nails. She did a pink and white back fill and I’m not the easiest cline to please. I normally go home and refile my nails the way I want them done. I like thatshe was punctual and even finished me in less then 50 min! I pre poked my next appointment and am sending my friends to her. Thanks Michelle.

JayneeBell Salon is a new salon owned by Michele DuVall. Michele is pretty amazing… she has been doing nails for 20 years and decided that she really needed to become a Cosmetologist to fulfill the beauty needs of her clients. I have been a regular nail and pedicure client of Michele’s for several years and happily moved into her stylist chair as soon as she opened JayneeBell. So far I’ve had a great cut, color, highlights, Brazilian blowout, and she styled me for a very important Black Tie Event… and she still does my gel manis and pedicures. My husband and teenage son have stopped in for hair cuts, too.
Although Michele is a busy girl, she will bend over backward to fit you in. I am very happy that she is doing more than just nails! Cute shop and very personal service.
