I’m going to preface this statement with the fact that I’m not and never have been a member of this fit-one location, I am a prior member of the Chico location. I toured it, and was disappointed enough not to sign up. The place was kind of dark, low ceilings, quiet as a ghost town. I’m already feeling my motivation waning on the tour. I want my gym bright, and with a little noise– these places need to breathe energy to keep you going. One demand I have of any gym I will going is a high-incline treadmill. This place only had one, so if I showed up at the same time as someone else for the only good treadmill– I’m out of luck. Being as my hubby and I tend to work out side-by-side and we’d both like to use good equipment, we are already running into problems. They also did not have anyone capable of giving even the most basic quotes during any hours that I would not be at work. Would it really be rocket science to teach all the front counter staff a basic quote, or always provide them the information for one of the current deals, and to say you may be able to get a better deal by talking to X staff member, here are the hours to call/stop by? I know this isn’t the way gyms usually work, but they usually have better coverage. I wish they would work out a deal with the Chico fit one so you could use either location. I would have been more on board if that was the case, so I could use the lovely Chico location when I’m already in town, and the less impressive Paradise location when I don’t want to waste the gas.

Fit One now this place sports a Power Lifting room, weight room, 2 cardio rooms(one small), two pools, one hot tub, a woman’s weight room, and 2 raquet ball courts. The changing rooms are kept clean, there is a sauna, but no steam room. Fairly basic gym.
