I have spent alot of time camping. I absolutely recommend this campground. It has some of the cleanest bathroom facilities I have every seen in addition to having 3 very well kept shower facilities. The price is more than competitive with stable concrete picnic tables and updated bbq fire pits. The lots themselves are well maintained and roomy and luxurious for campsite comparisons

Growing up I used to go camping with my family. I liked it except when my parents would bring too many supplies for camping. Other than that I liked the prospects of camping. However it’s been more than 20 years since I went camping. Last weekend my uncle’s fraternity Alpha Phi Omega(APO), which is a college fraternity in the Philippines, hosted a camping event here. APO’s campsite was at the group camping area. There were about 60 people who were associated with the fraternity. The campsite really felt like a campsite with the trees and hills in the background. One of the hills had a dirt path trail that your can hike on. This campsite also has a shower facility. For the showers bring quarters if you plan to shower. Even though there were quite a number of people the group camping area was spacious enough. One of the best features of the group camping area was that it was secluded from other campsites. This results a quiet, serene, and relaxing place to camp. Due to the location and setting you don’t feel cramped. However there are a couple of drawbacks. First this campsite is quite far away to a lake — you have to drive to a lake or marina. Second there’s no place to create a camp fire. The reason is you’re not allowed to gather pieces of woods to make a fire. Some people got creative by bringing there own wood and using the barbecue grill as a makeshift campfire. I enjoyed my time here camping last weekend. It brought back memories when I used to go camping. I didn’t mind that service on my cellphone wasn’t available. The 2 days at this campsite felt like 4 relaxing days. This campsite is a great way to recharge yourself before you go back on Monday. The only bummer was that due to the drought the water level was low on the main lake, which is about a 5 minute drive from the campfire, that a group of us(my cousins, my cousin in law and his family, and me) drove to another lake which was about a 20 minute drive from the campsite. The one thing I didn’t do was walk on the hike trail during the day.(My cousin and I walked on it at midnight and I admit it sort of scary because even with our flashlights it was pitch black.) If my uncle’s fraternity hosts a camping event next year at this specific campsite I would come here again to unwind.
