Authentic Mexican food at its best! Anything J choose here is bomb! The enchiladas or sopes are my favorite!

Horrible service ! It took the waitress more then 15 min just to get our drink order taken. Mind you it wasn’t busy at all. Once I finally got my order we waited around for my husbands food for another 10 min. Nothing !! We asked for the bill and the waitress charged us for our complete order. My husband told her we never got his ceviche that he had ordered and without an apology or anything she said oh yea I forgot ! Never again … Good food but the service is horrible !

I’m only putting 5 stars so it’s showing my review, first time here and for my first time experience the waitress who was helping my BF and I had such an attitude, and I’m all about great customer service, i don’t think I will come back here if I don’t feel comfortable

It used to be good. The Huntington park location is better. This location gave up quality. Their food is mostly reheated & watered down. The house specialty beef & potato plate looks like they spilled water on the plate & served it anyway. Waitresses are distracted & don’t pay much attention to new comers. Instead the focus on regulars. Be willing to wait on everything. From taking your order to getting refills. Except to pay. they bring your bill half way through your meal. Discouraging you from ordering more. Well the prices discourage anyways. I never Walked out of there paying less than $ 50 for 2 people. The only plus is the hand made tortillas but rather go elsewhere for those prices.

This place was introduced to me by some coworkers & I think it’s great when they’re not so busy. I always get the shrimp culichi which is shrimp covered in a creamy jalapeño sauce with a side of rice, salad & choice of tortilla. The waitresses are always very friendly even if you don’t get one that speaks English very well. Their shrimp empanadas are deep fried perfection with ground shrimp with gooey cheese inside with a side of a special creamy house sauce. Their micheladas are also very delicious for those after work hour moments.

I don’t think the ratings give this restaurant justice. Their mariscos are delicious, give them a try. Everytime we go, my fiancé gets the Botana El Superman, and I get a botana de camaron cocido en salsa preparada with ceviche. They are yummy!, if you are a seafood lover, give them a try.

The food is good even though they take their time bringing to the table. In the other hand the costumer service is poor, they don’t pay attention to u until u call them no once, twice.

Note to self, listen to fellow Unilocalers. Food was basic. Definitely won’t be back. You’re better off driving a bit more hitting up Perihuete… Now that place never disappoints. :)

Came here on a mothers birthday celebration, despite the rain, nevertheless my family and I found ourselves with a cold awkward welcome from employees. The food was small proportioned and to top it off they didn’t give any silverware. When we asked for it the server, the server LITERALLY threw a handful of random folks, knives, and maybe a spoon if we had gotten lucky. They never refreshed our drinks and cared if we needed anything else. Over all, terrible customer service with a hint of Amateur Mexican cooking, if you call it that. The end.

the food is great! The best time to go is during the week otherwise it gets really busy and the service quality goes down significantly. The prices are very cheap I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a good meal for a great price!

I had been told they sold some pretty decent Mexican food here and lucky for me, I was in the area recently. My mother’s family being from San Jose del Llano Badiraguato, Sinaloa. I was sort of drawn to this place. I wish I had time to sit down and eat, I ordered to go. I had the ceviche, I am a sucker for mariscos and I have to say this ceviche was pretty darn good, priced good too, I was a happy camper. I will be back soon with the family, I saw other items on the menu I wanted to try.

I work in the area and come to this Restaurant at least twice a week, due to good food, prompt and friendly service. The Camaron Ceviche Tostada is my favorite. I usually order that with a Carne Asada Taco and boy it sure hits the spot. Ice cold drinks are also a big plus here for me, They have a good selection. Love the fact that the waiters are very attentive and come by my table/booth numerous times to check on me.

First things first, they have the best horchata in town. It’s foamy and ice cold. The micheladas are really good as well, they have two versions and both are super tasty. It also depends on the waitress you have, if they’re younger then they probably don’t know how to make a legit one. The ceviche is fresh. The shrimp tacos are my usual here. But what’s very popular are the beef or chicken tostadas. Everything is good here.

As a Sinaloense myself, and knowing full well the regional cuisine of my state, I have to admit that this place is pretty authentic and stays true to Sinaloa’s culinary traditions. This place serves cebada which is a staple drink in my state and, honestly, tastes better and more delicious than horchata. My favorite dish here is torta de pierna because it tastes delicious and, once again, the flavor stays true to what it should taste like. I give it 4 stars and not 5 because they don’t serve their carne asada tacos is flour tortilla like they do in Sinaloa and Sonora.

Authentic Sinaloense food, for those who don’t know. Sinaloa is a state in northern Mexico with lots of great beaches(most famous one is Mazatlan) and nice ports. So they have awesome seafood, is not really traditional Mexican. We eat a lot of braised beef, goat and lamb. Anyhow, this place is off the hook, I love the one in Hungtington Park so I had to try this one. I ordered sopes, it’s dough topped with braised shredded beef, lettuce, picked red onion, shredded cotija cheese, drizzled with mexican crema, salsa and in Sinaloa it is traditional to pour some broth on top of your sopes so you could eat them drowned in it or if you’re like me just drizzle a little bit and drink the rest with lime and mexa hot sauce. The order of 4 sopes is $ 4.95, very cheap. I only eat two so I shared the rest. They also have a torta de pierna, mexican sandwich with cochinita pibil(similar to pulled pork) pork seasoned with annatto paste(achiote), orange juice, lemon juice and I don’t know what else. The torta has mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion and avocado and it’s the best thing I have ever had in my life. My Mom and El Sinaloense are the only ones that can master this in the US, it’s only $ 3.95 so I suggest you buy a couple because they’re addicting. I have also had enchiladas, asado sinaloense, machaca(shredded beef jerky) and many many delicacies sold in Sinaloa. I have never had dessert because I never have room, ohh and to drink they have Mexican sodas(I don’t drink soda but my friends rave about them so they must be good). They have cebada which is barley water, it’s delicious, they also have horchata and jamaica(hibiscus). I could keep writing but I need to stop, just drive there and try it. You will not be dissapointed.
