I’ve been going to this barbershop for years. Even when I was in the Marine Corps, I would go here when I visited my parents. I hated those«high & tight» haircuts near base. So I went here for my weekly fades. The hispanic barbers are cool. They have skills and are very detailed. They get you in and out. It does get busy during the weekends between 11am-4pm on weekends. I usually go as early as I can. 9am-ish is good. There are usually 2 to 3 barbers available. They probably felt the grip of the recession and partnered with a clothing store and GNC like store. If you’ve never been inside, picture this. You’ walk in and first you’ll see t-shirts and jeans hung up plus shelves of Whey Protein, Creatine, etc on one side of the store. The other side is the barbers’ chairs and shelves of Gel and hair products. To keep the cost down, I think it was a wise move to share the space especially if you aren’t utilizing the extra space. Update 8÷19÷2013: The clothing sales portion of the establishment has been remove but they still sell some sort of dieting products.
