The hubby and I come here every now and again and we like it. The people are always nice and will usually hold movies for us if we call it in in advance. The owner has started to charge whatever card is on file. We only found out bc ours was expired. My hubby advised the owner to include that on to the receipt that’s signed by customers bc people will obviously get upset for being charged without their consent. BUT, we were advised that if we don’t want our card to be charged to let them know we’ll pay for it the next time we come in. Anyway, I give them 4 stars bc their customer service is good. We haven’t had a problem with them since we’ve patronized there(3+yrs), they have a good selection of new releases, they’ve let us slide once or twice with late fees, lol, and bc hold movies for us. Haha.

the only real criticism i have is that they do not have any old classic movies there except for a few like the godfather and grease but other then that its dry. its somewhat cheap to rent but you have to return the movie the next day which is a little bit of a hassle, i think that’s how they make most of their income with late fees which i dint like. also they do charge 50 cents if you use a credit card there, but 50 cents adds up real fast if you are a movie person like me. they do have all the new movies that come out but if they want to survive and thrive they should have classics and i dont mind being charged a dollar extra to keep the movie for 7 days. if they did that i would give them 5 stars. other then that the people who work there are nice and will help you find what you are looking for.

Do not!!! Go here if you have seen a movie or two they got nothin special. Small selection of rentals. More to buy. unless you want to leave irritated. A grown man yelling as a talking voice, hooting and hollering with a child and into a cell phone walking all over the store. Other children whining Moooom puhlease ?! Very loud and disturbing. Bad mojo, the only worker behind the counter says nothing about all the chaos. I’m a movie buff and movie store buff as well drive two miles it’s well worth it!

I’ve been coming to this place since I was literally a 1 year old baby, when it used to be located across the street from where it is now, and throughout the years, I used to rent videos all the time. I am now 20 years old and I still love it just as much. With the closures of Hollywood Video, Blockbuster, and Movieland, this is the last place standing where one can rent movies in the area except for the RedBox machines, which have an extremely limited selection. Omni Video has a HUGE selection of DVDs, both new and old, and it now boasts an impressive selection of BluRays. They always have the brand new, blockbuster movies sometimes even a month before they’re out in stores. They’ve had Man of Steel out for 2 weeks now while it won’t even come out on Blu-Ray/DVD til November 12th! They also sell used overstocked DVDs and Blu-Rays at fair prices($ 10 for Blu-Rays!). The only reason I gave this store 4 stars is that I wish they had the classics on Blu-Ray. Their DVD collection is quite extensive for a small shop and it’s truly quite impressive what they have for the size. While their Blu-Ray section has grown quite a lot in the last year, they tend to have only movies that were released within the last 5 years. They should add a section with all the huge classics from throughout the years!(ie. The Shining, Halloween, Dracula, E.T., Rocky, Scarface, etc.) Other than that, this is a solid movie rental place with fair prices! $ 2 for DVDs, $ 3 for Blu-Ray. No taxes added!
