Tacos El Fogon

Everything tastes good this is the first time I try this place and so far everything I ate is good I didn’t give it 5 stars because their SALSAS don’t taste good.

I’ve had their nachos, Asada fries, torta and burritos. Everything has come out good. It seems like every time I come back it’s busier and busier. They must be doing something right. The only negative I have is that I didn’t like their burrito I don’t know if it’s the rice or the beans (or a combination of both)

I’ve been to Tacos fogon 3 times now and like their selection of meats and antojitos. The food is delicious but…
I would of rated the business 5 stars if it wasn’t for the cooks using their bare hands to handle the meat, chesse, and fresh tomatoes. Apparently they only use clamps for the beans and salsa. Quality food is measured by the level of hygene and this place could earn my highest rating only if they use the minimum requirements from the health department.
Saddly i will not be a regular customer anymore because of it :(.

so the bomb first time tonight that i tried it and i absolutely love it tacos are juice and savory but the nachos omg so bomb i recommend it my favorite everything is so fresh an the pico de gallo on top of my nachos are amazing

Good for a late night bite. The suadero has the perfect amount of tenderness and crisp. Salsas are amazing and the Gringa quesadilla is cheesy delicious goodness. Ill def be back for my late night Mexican fix. Area is not super sketch either.

Great Tacos!!! Easy parking, clean location, friendly staff and great food. Will be back to try other things.

This is a great place for authentic Mexican food. The portions are generous & the price for a meal is reasonable! Coming back here with my husband soon.

Had a carne asada burrito with guacamole have to say i loved it fresh meat and guacamole hot sauce was good and of course my pineapple water. Its a must try, would of gave it a 5 star but last couple of times the floor and table have been a bit dirty other than that everything good

I went to Tacos El Fogon today. I ordered the nachos. And let me tell you they were so delicious. The workers are very nice too and a lot of people like coming here. I would love to come here again anytime.5 stars!

Here too was a new place that I was trying out for first time since I was in the area. It’s in a nice new shopping center and inside and out it looked very nice. The inside is space and clean and I liked the pub table style seating in some areas.
The food looked great and the staff was friendly but honestly the food that I had the tacos and taquitos was actually kind of bland. I’ve eaten fast Mexican food all over and this spot didn’t blow my socks off in the taste department. It was actually kind of a let down. They need to either season more or charge less because I wasn’t that blown away by the food that I said to myself… hmm…self… you should come back here again if you’re ever on this side of town.
They’re not bad they’re just not that great either. Lovely presentation though with the food but they need to step their game up in the kitchen.

Nice place to eat, small but very classy. I have tried the Pastor Torta so far
, very good with lots of goodies.

I’ve been here once before and the customer service and food were great.
Today though was the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant.
My bf and I went in to grab something to eat. He ordered a burrito and taco de chorizo. When we got our good my bf noticed something funny about his taco but didn’t think much of it. He took a bite out of it and realized that it wasn’t chorizo. So I took the taco and asked the cashier if it was chorizo and she replied condescendingly and with an attitude that he had ordered a taco de tripa. Before I continue I should mention that my bf hates tripa and can’t even say that word in spanish. She kept insisting that he ordered the tripa and then went on to say that she would have to charge me for the taco because «he ate most of the taco» He only took a bite out of it to see if it was chorizo or not. During this whole time she had an attitude and was very rude. She kept saying she repeated our order twice which she didn’t. At this point I’m very upset because you should never treat people the way that she did. I kept asking who her manager/​supervisor was and she still wouldn’t respond. I left because I knew I wasn’t going to get anywhere with her. Upon leaving I asked the busboy about the owner and he said I could call him during the week in the mornings.
After we left, I forgot to get the girls name so I called and she answered. She answered like it was a personal phone. And once she recognized my voice she says «Called to make a complaint?»
I asked for her name and she hung up on me. I called 3 more times and every Time she would hang up on me. I don’t know who taught this girl manners but that is not the way a restaurant should be run!!! I will never come here again after this horrible experience !!!
Btw the cashiers name is zeltcin or something like that, don’t know how to spell it.

I used to love coming here until the manager ignored me when I was trying to order and she also ignored my boyfriends request for soap in the bathroom because she was too busy talking to her friend. Not only that but the food was old and tasteless. We went back another day to put in a complaint and they did nothing about it. We received horrible customer service from this place even though we used to be regulars.

This place has Great Tacos! Great customer service love the grilled onions and the coffee is bomb try it!

Hmmmm very interesting. I came here looking for some good down home Mexican food. But I didn’t want someone Taking meat out of a tub and putting it in the microwave. (With no gloves btw) where’s the health board at!

My fellow Unilocalers, I don’t often give out 5 stars but this place is SO GOOD!
Reasons why:
PRICING — it’s so affordable and the food is delicious.
$ 2.73 WITH TAX for a regular breakfast burrito (2 eggs, pinto beans, lots of cheese and I always ask for cilantro with onion)
$ 5 — Burritos, my favorite is the Al Pastor (pork with pineapple) with rice and beans
$ 7 — SUPER nachos with lots of crispy tortilla chips, beans, meat (Al Pastor for me) pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream plus melted cheese!
PLUS there’s the salsa section where you pack as much salsa, lemons, radishes, and cucumbers that your spicy little heart desires.
I come here right before work during lunch hour and I’m always treated with friendly smiles, fast service and delicious food. It seriously cant be beat.

I’m bumping up the stars for this place since they have bomb ass nachos!
It’s the best nacho I had so far!
It has sour cream, guacamole, diced jalapenos, onion, cilantro, tomatos, and loads of cheese and meat.
Super Nacho nicely done!

I love the food here! But they need to clean thier kitchen better. I found a big warm (baby Catapillar) in my piña WTF

This used to be a ‘Picoso!’ and the interior stayed intact.
Leave it to a Mexican establishment to try and peel the paint and give up and just leave the old logo. Seriously. Just look up around the ceiling area.
But tacos al vapor are tough to find and this place makes em pretty decent.
Prices are pretty good and there’s plenty of variety here. It’s in a plaza that seems to be a literal dead zone for business.
Maybe if they open late on the weekends they can attract the crowd next door at Torino lounge?
Either way, good eats for good price.
