Service was horrible… the waiter didn’t know the menu and was not attentive at all. The menu is very unclear. I used to eat here often and it was pretty good. Today the portions have been cut in half, salad is no longer offered with an entrée and the chef was extremely heavy with the salt shaker! Very disappointed… will not go back!

This place is mainly for a catering hall that requires reservations for larger groups A last minute decision for a family get together ended up at this place They were able to accommodate 14 people at a moments notice without hesitation. They quickly set up a row of tables in the bar area The service was great and so was the food I definitely recommend this place and will come back again

My prom was held here. We had a great time! The inside of the hall was beautiful. The ceiling was lit blue, with sparkling chandeliers. I’ve heard rave reviews of the food, so I was quite surprised at what we received. I have a feeling my high school chose a discount package, so I don’t entirely blame the restaurant. We arrived at the end of the cocktail hour, but this food looked much better than the dinner. There was pasta, calamari, and antipasto. We started the meal with salads. I’m not sure what was it them(it was dark), but it was quite plain. My boyfriend & I had the chicken francese. The sauce was very heavy, so we only ate the vegetables. For desert, we had a platter of canolis and eclairs, these were good. I don’t think my experience gave me a fair judgement of Biagio’s food, so I’d like to give it another try!

I have had the greatest memories at this place. I’ve been coming here for years now, and it always feels like home. I recently came after they renovated the bar. It looks beautiful. I have always loved their bar food, from the nachos to pizzas… It was always great to munch on. I don’t know if they still have it, but the Greek Salad(with anchovies) was so delicious! I can’t say for the restaurant, but the bar is hands-down the best in town.

Great place to go for your next party, wedding, communion, or bar/batmitzvah. The food is nice and the atmosphere is too!

My experience at this restaurant was horrendous. The only reason I did not rate this restaurant with only 1 star is that the menu has a pretty good beer selection. The restaurant recently changed menu to shift to the European-style of eating with small plates. The small plates were pricy. I don’t mind pricy, if the restaurant knew what it was doing. The garlic bread was cold by the time it got to our table, not even warm. We order 2 crostinis. The crostini was basically a big piece of bread with a random topping on it. This was clearly not even close to authentic Italian food or its equivalent. The shrimp was not even fresh; neither did any of the dishes have that taste of freshness. The risotto small plate was just too salty. The fact that the small plates were expensive made the experience was much worse. I heard that this restaurant was very top notch before the menu change. From my experience, it went a far, far plunge, in terms of quality.

I was confused at first arriving to the restaurant because I thought it was just a venue however there is a restaurant located in the front. They also have halls in the back of the restaurant people can’t rent for events. They have a private lot so there’s plenty of parking. There is no additional outdoor seating. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there was not that big a rush so we were seated quickly. Our waiter was great at breaking down the menu for us as it was a little hard to read. They have a great deal on appetizers(3 for $ 10). Tomato-Basil Bruschetta * So good! One serving had two bites. The bread was crunch yet chewy on the inside as it should be! The vinaigrette that they used is really the winner on top of the veggies and cheese. If I could have a hundred of these, I would be one happy girl. On the side, I had a Berry Mojito. They had some interesting drinks on their menu. Alcohol was good. Bolognese * I had to brace myself with this one. It had chicken, sausage and veal! The sauce was meat-heavy but complimented so well over their pasta! The serving size was quite big so I didn’t make it to the end. However, I enjoyed every single bite. Recommend it! Chocolate Cake | After your main meal, they bring out the dessert menu. As much as I wanted to eat everything, my friends and I decided to try their huge chocolate cake. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. It didn’t have too much chocolate and overly sweet. The cake itself was very moist and the icing was rich and whipped well. I’m drooling a little about it writing this review. Highly recommend it!

Was here for a private party on the second level. Biagio’s located at an interesting strip of Paramus Rd that has a smattering of restaurants in a mostly suburban area, away from the malls and highways. Not hard to find though, and plenty of parking. The restaurant’s décor is old and a little outdated. The event room we were in had old-school wallpaper and some of those«Starving Artists» art of picturesque locations. When we were there on Sunday their actual bar and restaurant area was very quiet, with most of their businesses being the events they were hosting. The service was good. The wait staff was very attentive, and cleared our plates pretty promptly for the buffet dinner. The food could have been better. For an Italian restaurant, ironically their best dish was the paella, which was wonderfully garlicky with awesome seafood. Unfortunately, their Italian meat dishes(pork and chicken) were a miss — overcooked and dry. Everything else was pretty average, reminiscent of a pizzeria takeout joint. It’s a safe bet for the type of private event that you just want to get over with on(what I’m guessing) is a reasonable budget, but it’s certainly not a place I’d book to wow or impress my guests. Having said that, I had a nice time.

Biagio’s is a family-friendly, family-run restaurant. My husband and I had our third wedding celebration here, and we are pleased with the results. During the negotiation process, there was a bit of back and forth, which is to be expected, but I would have to say sometimes it was difficult to get a hold of the person I originally spoke with, and I felt like I was passed back and forth between event managers for a few days. They were very accommodating, though, with our crunched timeline(our original venue closed down without telling us, and we discovered this about a few weeks before our event, so we had to scramble to find a new venue) and they did their best to give us an attractively priced package deal with unlimited beer and wine. We had about 65 guests, we were given the Banquet Room upstairs, and since no one booked the adjacent small Conference Room, we were able to use it as a bridal suite/storage room. I have to especially commend Stefani for her work as our maitre’d. Even though she’s young, she was extremely professional and poised. We had some extra latecomers to our event, but she handled it calmly and squeezed in extra chairs and table settings for us. She checked in with us during the night to make sure things were okay, and I was able to find her when I needed her help. She helped out when we had audio-visual difficulties(even though we had tested it just 4 days prior). Stefani was kind enough to make us plates while my husband and I mingled with guests. The other servers also provided solid service, coming around to refill drinks and clearing plates. As a note, if you are using the Apple TV and/or bluetooth sound bar, make sure your device is basically right under it, or the reception will be choppy. We finally got our video to work, and we played music off their wifi through Spotify, and my guests were even able to dance a bit. As for the food, we chose to do a buffet with a carving station. My friends were impressed with the flavor of the roast beef and leg of lamb. I personally loved the penne a la vodka, and the fried calamari was a crowd pleaser. The other food was satisfactory, and I was content with the fact that they kept replenishing the buffet. Their outdoor space is also quite nice. We had a photographer and did a mini photoshoot session by the small waterfall/pond and their benches.

Atmosphere is nice and service was decent. The food on the other hand was sub-par. Absolutely not worth the price. Don’t understand these places that think the atmosphere alone will get people coming back. Would not recommend until the food is par for the price.

The place has fantastic Italian food! From the cheese platter, fried calamari to pasta, it tastes like the homemade Italian food! Not heavy at all! The service quality is ok. I wish the servers could wear a bit more smiles…

A bad idea to come on Easter, the place was obviously PACKED. They used their smaller ballroom to fit everyone in but seemed to be short staffed for the holiday. My first time coming to Biagio’s and I’m not gonna lie, probably my last as well. The ballroom was very old school Italian. Nothing really fancy about the place at all. Seems to fit about 100 – 150 people with a bar at the front of the ballroom. Being that we made late reservations, it seemed like they literally threw our table on the corner of the dance floor just to fit our family. Our waiter seemed to have been waiting on well over a quarter of the room, with more than at least 5 people per table. Our food came out at a timely matter considering how busy they were. Food: firstly, we started off with fried calamari and steamed mussels. Nothing really exciting to talk about here. The mussels were small with a bunch of empty shells and the calamari was your typical fried calamari you’d try at any other Italian restaurant. I ordered the lamb chops which came with three chops, mashed potatoes, and veggies. There was nothing amazing about my dish. I was skeptical in ordering lamb because not a lot of places can cook Lamb to perfection. It was decent and edible, but not the best I’ve ever had. My husband ordered a 21oz steak which looked like it could feed a country. Again, typical steak with no real ‘wow’ factor to it. The crab meat ravioli that was homemade was also another option at the table. I tried a piece and I was not impressed. The dough(?) to make the ravioli was kinda hard, but they were generous with the crab meat and the amount of pieces of ravioli they provided(given the fact that a lot of places only give you 5 – 6 pieces of ravioli). With the generous amount on my plate, there was absolutely no room for dessert. Staff: our waiter definitely did the best he could waiting on that many tables. He was quick to please when our request was forgotten but seemed to have disappeared once the crowd faded. It took a while to get the check and he was missing for quite some time as Easter lunch started dissipating. We finally asked some other waitress to give us the bill since they were really holding us up. I would probably give the staff a 3 out of 5 star because they were so busy. I didn’t expect the waiters to be perfect but they were definitely attentive and polite. Overall I wouldn’t really suggest this place to anyone. I’ve never been to the restaurant not on a holiday so I’m not sure how the regular service is. The food portions were generous and probably worth the money they charge per meal. I would however probably suggest going to another Italian restaurant that has more of a unique twist to their food choices. I don’t think I’ll come back for a regular night out unless I was invited to do so. My review may also seem unfair because I came on a holiday weekend and did not fully experience the restaurant as a regular service.

I came for dinner here with my girlfriend and i was expecting authentic Italian fare, being I’m from the city but it almost met my expectations. The mozzarella on the appetizer was rather warm and the chicken marsala entrée was the same as the pizza place down the street from me. But service was okay and the espresso was delicious. Hope to find good italian place across the GW bridge soon!

The food at the bar is a definite NO GO! But the drinks are decent. It’s definitely a neighborhood bar, with a lot of locals around. It’s very bright inside, I wouldn’t take a date that’s for sure. They have a couple TV’s, the drinks are cheap and the bartenders are sort of slow but overall it’s okay. Probably best for a casual basketball game you don’t really care to watch ! I will probably be back but not due to my own accord.

First the bad, it is SOOOO loud. So. Loud. We had to scream to be heard as did everyone. It’s an old school place with lots of older people but I didn’t mind that. Reminded me Of the types of places my grandparents used to take us in Sundays when we were young. The food was AMAZING! Seriously the best octopus I’ve ever had. Had the sizzling steak with blue cheese and each of lamb. Both excellent.

The food is good… But the servers are kind of clumsy. We went with our baby and the waitress dropped an entire glass of wine on our baby! We were lucky in that the glass didn’t fall on her. They were nice in trying to help out but wine stains are wine stains! So this was obviously a disaster. The food was alright but I think they need to train their people on how to serve food and beverages around kids.

The restaurant is old school Italian but it works. They food is very tasty and it is a nice quiet place to eat. There is a ton of parking but if there is an event going on for the night you can wait longer to park then it takes for them to seat you and serve you. The chicken parm hit the spot for me. It has a gray bar scene so if your looking for that it’s a good place to meet up with old friends.

I have been coming here for years and I’m surprised I didn’t write a review sooner. From hanging at the bar with friends to private parties I think its safe to say I’ve experienced all the Biagio’s has to offer. The most recent time I was here besides the other night for drinks was for my grandmothers repass service. It was held in one of the back rooms with the side entrance. Being that this was not exactly a great reason to be going to eat we all made the best of it and the service and food Biagio’s served really helped to brighten our spirits. We did a buffet for this occasion and there was so much food and it was all delicious and better than I expected. The wait staff was very attentive and kind. My favorite was the penne vodka and the chicken francese. The vodka sauce was so flavorful and the chicken was perfectly moist. Really tasty food overall. The bar scene is your typical experience large area with plenty of seating a few tables to the side and some really tasty bar food. The pizza is pretty good and I tend to order a bar pie when I do go there. I don’t frequent here often being I hate running into my entire high school for the most part I go on an off night when my friends drag me there. But if were going to eat I’m always down. Overall great place to come for dinner and for a special occasion. I have yet to check out the addition they put on but am looking forward to it.

I ordered a cup of ginger ale, and as I took a sip of it, it felt like I had a piece of lemon in my mouth, but there was no lemon in the drink. I spit it out and I came to discover that what I thought was lemon was a live maggot, still moving. I told the manager and they did nothing about it, not even apologizing. I will never be going here again. The food was okay, but no restaurant should ever have a health violation like this one.
