Located in a strip mall area with plenty of parking spaces. I love coming here as I can get everything I need for the gym and more. The best part is their clearance clothing rack so don’t forget to check it out. Summertime, this branch would have tent sales for all their clearance items like cloths and sneakers.
I like that they sell Rutgers University gear and clothing. As a RU alumni, I can tell you the gears sold at Dicks are generally 25% to 40% cheaper than purchasing the clothing at RU campus stores.
You can register for Dicks’ free membership and collect points to redeem for coupons each time you shop in store or online.

Deen — a guy from Archery services has done an exceptional work tuning my bows and installing accessories. He has stayed after his work hours to finish the job — nicest guy I’ve met. I’ll be coming back to this store as long as they employ such people.

First time in this store, to purchase a fishing license with a friend also buying one. Store looked great, but the customer service was horrible. Prompted to go find a manager, we asked for one near the counter. A female rep had such a nasty attitude toward us when we asked for a manager. She also made a rude comment to my friend about forgetting his social security number to purchase the license. It was a bad experience. Bad atmosphere.

Worst employees ever!!! Was waiting for a fitting room, pressed the button and no one came. Had to hunt down a girl to open a room (not a problem). Then she disappeared. A minute later an older woman with short blonde hair started screamed at us from across the store «excuse me, hello, uhhhhh didn’t you ask for a fitting room– over here! And huffed and puffed (very nasty tone). I wanted to say something but bit my tongue. Can never find any employees for help!

This place sometimes has good prices, but it is so big and so football/​baseball oriented that fans of other sports won’t feel welcome. Also, the self-​service footwear area is always understocked and styles are mixed up. If they had the shoes organized in the back room, it would be so much better for customers because workers would know exactly where to look for sizes and styles. It’s just a giant chain store that tries to give the impression they care, but they really don’t.

A big huge store with no more than 3 employee, the owner must be very cheap to hire people to help in the store. When you need help, need to wait for a long time, because barely no one is there.
Only one cashier, so expect to be in line when there is lots people in the store.

Went to look for a certain type of item. An expensive one. First of all it‘s liking walking into a cemetery… can‘t find anyone to speak with. After eight minutes I found a 45 year old clerk… I asked him to show me the item I was trying to buy and he said «Yeah, so what about it… I told him to forget and he walked away mumbling. I don‘t think that this «wildly successful clerk» realized the size of commission that he lost. Lazy is not the word. Paramus seems to attract a lot of riff raff… Close the store… Mitch Modell has you beat anyway…

if i can give a negative star, i will! i went here once. they had an advertisement saying u get $ 20 if u buy $ 100. i wasnt buying a pair of shoes but i bought anyway so i can get the $ 20.
1st of all, u cant use the $ 20dick’s cash right away, u will have to wait till a week or so. once u rmember it, boom! it’s expired already! they only give u 5days window to use it?! seriously??! who has to time to rmember that!
on my way to return or the merchandise that i bought! NEVER COMING BACK! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! IT SUCKS! Say goodbye to my $ 100! not ever! never again!

Never thought I’d buy my golf clubs here, given all the choices in the area. However, these guys offered great deals and they also had a great golf technician that was patient and let us try out a ton of clubs without hassling us.
It’s a great place to look for not only new clubs, but also some older (but arguably superior) sets that don’t cost nearly as much as the top of the line models. I was able to score a somewhat hard to get set of Taylor Made Burner 2.0 drivers and irons fora great price. These clubs play amazingly well and I strongly recommend them.
As for the service, the folks here are very friendly and it also helps that they have 2 simulators in the store. Thanks to the time I spent here, I felt I made a good decision. It also helps that they offer competitive prices and a good selection.

Tremendous Selection well laid out. I went to get a bag of pressureless tennis balls, they were to expensive 20 bucks versus Modell’s $ 14,95. Minus my league 5%.
However you can see that there is much more care in the layout here then at Modell’s on Rt 4.
Staff was very helpful in both places

I love Dick’s because when ever you enter their store some one is there to advise you regarding your purchase. This particular store is well organized and I can usually find what I am seeking. I really like this particular Dick’s.

Sports Authority I believe has run it’s course out in our area and when Dick’s first came around I was excited. I had been to one in another part of Jersey and was blown away in a good way. How many puns can I fit in this review? Let’s see!
They greet you when you walk in the door (who doesn’t these days?!) and after that you can’t find anyone to help you. That’s fine by me, if I need help, I’ll come find you… other than that assume I know what I’m doing.
They have a huge golf section and if I played golf I would assume that’s a good thing. Their collection of clothing is pretty good and they have a lot of local team stuff. It’s bright, inviting and definitely worth stopping in.

They have pleny of gear to choose from, no matter what type of sport it is that you’re into. Giants SB46 Champions gear is another story… they fall short on gear for youths and the ladies.
