Great store if your looking for cd’s and dvd’s new or used. Sometimes the prices are super high and you syh at it and other times your can find something real cheap or reasonable. They also have great deals for example. buy 2 used get 1 used free. That there is fantastic! The FYE members card is great if u spend more then 120 bucks a month minimum just to break even with their ridiculous 11.99 monthly fee just so you can save 10%. But the card does offer other discounts kind of like AAA works… but i dont use the card for this so its kind of a waste for me to pay the 12 bucks but i do anyway because once and i while i do splurge and spend a few hundred and 10% seems to help even though i pay for it monthly. I pretty much end up breaking even. the store also sells random toys, posters, shirts ect… which are great gift ideas.

Why did you have to get greedy?
I was perfectly fine shopping here from time to time.
The last time I was in, upon checkout, I was asked if I wanted to join the discount club. I said «No.»
The salesperson said «No problem, I’ll just put the info in the bag so you can look it over and join later if you change your mind.»
I think nothing of this.
I discard the info on the discount thing because I rarely purchase anything from Fye.
Fast forward about a month and a half.
I look at my bank statement and see an unauthorized charge for $ 11.99 the description is «Fye Subscription». I call the bank and they confirm its some «online marketing product».
I did not authorize whatever the hell this charge is, so, the bank stops my card, blocks my account until they can give me a new one.
Big pain in the ass.
I will never shop there again.

Definitely last of dying breed! I’ve been stopping in this store for years, I actually even worked in this store when it was a record town like almost 20 years ago, hell even tapes were relevant then! Lol
I once came here on a busy day with a big bag of DVDs I had got on blu ray or just didn’t want. Now if I had not called earlier and asked can I trade some dvd’s in there and they said yeah just bring them down which I did to have a worker tell me «I’m sorry were just way too busy» while I’m standing there with a big bag of dvd’s in my hand I got pissed off and asked him to just do it because I just wanted to trade them in and get some new stuff and he agreed he would do it and did it not very enthusiastically.
I think the prices just like coconuts were as well are way over priced compared to amazon and bigger stores like bestbuy but their selection as far as dvd’s is crazy. bestbuy isn’t stocking or probably even carrying stuff like blackula and just other random movies and TV shows, I’m sure the same could be said about the cd’s. You can definitely get some good deals on used stuff and they have frequent sales.
Bottom line cool stock, sky high prices on most things.

About to go here to sell back 100 + DVD’s. I will give you a full review

Good Deals Nice Store
Well organized store filled with everything for the eyes & ears, the sales people are helpful and the store is neat and organized in a logical fashion. A good amount of clearance and sale items can be found as you enter, I picked up Earth, Wind & Fire and Commodores CDs for five bucks each.
Always worth a look
