Had a total knee replacement by «Hartzband», April 2004, yes, over 11 years ago. And the nerves in a quadrant of my knee have yet to regenerate. That, to me, means that they were never reattached. My knee makes a lot noise when I walk, and it hurts. Went back a few times, and the «doctor» said, he’d give me a new knee, but I’d have to pay for it. Is that some kind of a joke???
I do not know that the other reviews are on the same «Hartzband», but they can NOT be speaking of the one that I went to in Paramus NJ. He has NO personality, and worse yet, doesn’t look at you when he speaks. He looks over you, around you, but not at you.

Dr. Hartzband is unbelievable!
Due to severe arthritis, my girlfriend needed a complete hip replacement. Dr. Hartzband was confident and reassuring. We arrived at the outpatient surgical facility at 6AM, the surgery started at 8 and we were home at 6PM the SAME DAY! The PT folks even had her practice going up and down stairs before we left. The incision was small and pain was minimal for that type of procedure.
Recovery time is significant of course, but she is progressing nicely, thanks to Dr. Hartzband and his excellent staff. I am convinced that they are the best in their field.

Ever wonder where friendly doctors have gone? It’s here the staff is even sweeter and yes they «care» about its patients. we had a last minute surgery emergency, because of expiring private healthcare coverage we needed help fast and they were there for us in so many ways! Thank you staff, doctors, office manager, surgical coordinators and the X-​ray guy too!
