This is an ok J. Crew store, by no means anywhere nearly as good as some as the other locations. The sale section is pretty poor. I have probably been in here 4 times since moving to Jersey and I will say that I have never even been greeted once! I gues everyone has different experiences as I see so many good reviews on here. I prefer the stores in Manhattan to this one, at least I get acknowledged and asked if I need anything. Still I remain a fan of the brand, but less impressed than I used to be with the service or lack of it thereof!

This is a long time overdue, however I came to this J. Crew in order to purchase a suit for my wedding, I was helped by Josh Berger who was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgable. Without him I would be wearing a normal suit/shirt to probably the most important day of my life! Josh showed me all my options and geared me to a tuxedo, he knew the measurements by eye sight(and of course double checked them with measuring tape), he gave us his personal contact information just in case we needed more help or had any further questions regarding what to wear, etc. THANKYOUJOSH! It’s a nice J. Crew but after letting other people do the work in the sale section(watching people sort through sale items), I was unimpressed with the sale prices and selection. On the other hand, I do like what’s going on at J. Crew and other stores. The deep burgundy and navy colors are amazing. So why, only three stars? There was one person working the dressing room and she was catering only to one customer. No one greeted my sister, dad, or me, and quite frankly, the haughtiness of the staff is a turn off. Still, service aside, this is a large J. Crew with Crewcuts and a men’s store separate from the women’s store. It is quite impressive.

I always thought of J Crew as the country version of Banana Republic. However, since BR came out with their«Heritage» line, I find myself visiting J Crew less and less. There are still decent sales at J Crew and most of their items are priced lower than BR’s Heritage, but the store is just too rustic casual for me. If you prefer a more modern, sleeker look, then J Crew won’t satisfy. But if you’re trying to look cute for a weekend trip to a ski lodge, then this is where you should start. But if you have some real bucks to spend, check out Ralph Lauren’s Winter Collection at Neiman Marcus. Just don’t pay retail…

Is this the biggest J. Crew in NJ? It has to be! This is a ridiculously large store. The men have their own(connected) store, and the Crewcuts section is off to the side, which provides us women with the maximum SSqFt* available. Everywhere you look, beautiful clothes on display in neatly folded piles. The shoe section is so inviting! It looks like a fancy person’s living room. Up the stairs, past the registers, & make a left when you hit the shoes … Voila! You’re in the sale section! It’s big — and it gets even bigger during sale season. I always find at least one item that I don’t need but can’t live without because of the marked-down price. It’s just a beautiful store, with excellent employees who keep it as neat as can be. Really. _____________ * SSqFt = Shopping Square Feet. As a scientist, I can convert this to Sm(Shopping Square Meters) for a small fee.
