Overall market is small. There is a guy that makes some pretty incredible dishes. Smoked brisket served with kimchee. Best brisket I’ve ever had. Ramen noodle crusted fried chicken with zesty homemade bbq sauce. Smoked then deep fried pork belly. A must anyone that likes great bbq

Great News For Bergen County The Paramus Farmers Market will reopen for it’s second year beginning June 2013. Open every Wednesday from June 19 to September 18, 2013, 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm rain or shine. Try the lemonade and get an infusion, Paterson Pickle Company makes some nice sauerkraut among other things, the produce people from South Jersey are good, Nana’s Kitchen has nice middle eastern foods and the kebabs are great. No sign of a cheesemonger yet??? One of the community benefits is the donation of some of the extra food to the Paramus Division of Human Resources’(DHR) Food Pantry, where it is then distributed to needy members of the community, according to DHR director Irene Maury. Those who meet the program’s criteria, such as disabled seniors, now gain ready access to fresh food through the program. Come out and support locally sourced food.

Situated next to the town park and rec center, the Paramus Farmers Market is a great little community market with a good selection of varying stands which are sure to have something for anyone. Pickles, gourmet dog biscuits, the expected veggie and fruit slingers as well as some prepared food vendors make for an opportunity to dig deeply and affordably and feel that one has done well supporting the community market. Wednesdays 3 – 7 with ample on site parking.
