AJJEWELERSATTHEJEWELRYCENTER(not the jewelry exchange) located at 327ROUTE4INPARAMUS, NJ, Albert Faut Jewelers (201) 488‑8865 Fax:(201) 488‑9055 e-mail: Booth #5&15 I purchased a $ 1650 necklace and sold $ 650 worth jewelry bringing the necklace down to $ 1,000. The salesman who sold me the necklace did not write the original price of the necklace on the receipt said minus the jewelry I sold, just the purchase price. I went back a few days later and requested that he refund the cost of my returned necklace I bought from him and wanted my sold necklace back(due to reconsideration for sentimental reasons) and told him I was willing to forfeit the gold I sold which was worth $ 325. He asked me to come back in two days. When I came back to exchange it, he offered me $ 250 less than what was on the receipt($ 1000– $ 250 =$ 750). He did not recall me selling him jewelry despite the three day turn around. There was no record of my sale. I couldn’t prove it.(If you choose to sell jewelry to offset a purchase, ensure that this is indicated on the receipt wherever you go to purchase jewelry.) He then offered me $ 800 and said let’s call it a day. I tried to negotiate. I finally accepted it because I wanted the necklace and he knew this and took advantage of me. I consider this theft. By the time I walked away, I was down $ 500. This was a horrible experience and would never recommend this jeweler ever. I felt like a fool who was taken for what he could get without considering his reputation or the impact it made on this customer. This is pure greed at whatever cost. A jeweler is only as good as his reputation. STAYAWAYFROMTHISONE!

I needed ring resizing, and I decided to stop by here after work because it was on my way home and recommended by a co worker. When I walked in, the people at the front just looked at me. No «Hello» no «how can we help you?» Nothing. I had to approach the guy behind the counter and just tell him what I needed. He looked behind him, then looked at me and said«the people who do that aren’t here». The whole situation was awkward, and I immediately felt like they didn’t want me there. It was about 7, they close at 8, and I think they just didn’t want to be bothered. Rude staff, won’t be back.

I attempted to come to this place to trade my watch for a ring for my girlfriend. It was a $ 500 watch I purchased 5 years ago. The first stall they pointed me to the guy told me my watch wasn’t worth anything. He then pointed to me to another guy. This guy handled my watch with his greasy hands for 5 minutes then asked me «do you have a certificate? Do you have a receipt?». I told him it was purchased 5 years ago and could probably get a credit card receipt, he told me I should of had a certificate?! He then proceeded to say my watch was fake and that he didnt want it. I trade and buy jewelery all the time and have never had a certificate. He then told me again my watch was fake. This whole place if full of rude unintelligent people. Its like a middle eastern bartering market, the people are very rude and insulting. It took me three phone calls for me to actually speak to someone, as no one spoke English and kept hanging up on me. I have been to many stores in my life and in an unbiased opinion the items they have are tacky and very low class. I ended up taking my watch back to the original store so I could trade. Try to guess what? It wasn’t fake. There is something deeply wrong with this place, I am confused as to how this place is still open. I guess people enjoy buying junk at overpriced rates? If you have any respect for yourself or value your money I would highly suggest you avoid this nightmare. Its not surprising the only review they have was taken down due to it being from someone who works there. I am guessing alot of people enter this store and walk out not purchasing anything? You should stay a step ahead and not even enter this place to begin with. I don’t like writing bad reviews, but this place annoyed me so much I have to let the Unilocal community know. Stay safe people and keep your dignity.

i’m usually a brand whore when it comes to clothes, bags, cars, and shoes, but when it comes to diamonds, there is absolutely no reason why you would buy at a high premium for a Tiffany and Cartier diamond when you can buy one of the same exact quality at the Jewelers Exchange for much less. I’ll take that money saved and buy a Miu Miu bag instead(^__^). For those of you who don’t know how the jewelry exchanges work, vendors rent out display tables in a giant room, usually selling similar types of jewelry and watches. My guy’s name is Tommy, whose booth is located on the right when you enter the store from the right hand entrance. Everyone working in that booth has a great attitude and are not money-hungry salesmen. I’ll be back, for sure.
