This review is for the pharmacy. Twice I have had to wait because they do not take their messages off voice mail. When I ask them why they do not check voice mail periodically I am told that they are not aware when a doctor leaves a message. Here is a thought, fix it!!! Not a friendly group either.

I don’t get this Stop & Shop location! It’s in a great area on Route 17 in Paramus. But the store is so run down! Probably the worst looking Stop & Shop out of the whole chain of stores! There is another Stop & Shop a little over a mile away in Ridgewood that has been upgraded twice. But the Paramus store looks like it belongs in a third world country! You talk to the people in the neighborhood and they tell you the same thing! Don’t get it!?! Just a little paint would probably do the job!

Great deals for the house close in the neighborhood. Last minute shopping for a last minute meal. people are friendly here. there is also a Pharmacy here.

I went there not knowing what type of reception I was going to get and was pleasantly surprised. The staff went out of their way to help me and the customer service desk was extremely kind and hospitable. Felt like I was going there for years. Great experience.

This is a very quiet Stop and Shop compared to your average grocery. Not saying that it is bad.
Tends to be slightly more expensive end, maybe because of low turnover. However, off the top of my head, I cannot think of grocery that are really close (There is a Shop Rite in Rochelle Park near Garden State Plaza, another on Rt. 4 near Bergen Mall, and a Whole Foods in the Bergen Mall). Good place to go in you are in a pinch, but I don’t really ready advise doing your week to week shopping here.
If the liquor has sales, they are pretty good priced.

This Stop and Shop gets called «the creepy Stop and Shop» around my area. If you go there, you’ll figure out why. It doesn’t help that it still screams «converted Grand Union». It’s a decent store for what you need, when you need it, but there are two other Stop and Shops out there in the area. The good part about this one is that if you need a bottle of wine on the way home, they have a liquor store!

Shopped here recently, and then very promptly was a victim of credit card fraud. I was using a card I never use anywhere else. Either you’ve got corrupt employees stealing card numbers or your system security is poor. Regardless, I’m not shopping here again.
