Burger Land

It’s a dinner! No it’s a drive in! No it’s a dive! It’s all three! One of the best tasty cheese burgers in east Texas! Patty melt was also great. Service with a smile.

This is a really good burger. I had one from their food truck at the county fair. There was a bit of a wait, but well worth it. They give you a lot of fries. It if was a child and me I would split an order of fries.

Awesome burgers and fresh cut fries!!! This burger is one of the 2 or 3 best burgers I’ve ever eaten. I will definitely stop here every time I travel through Paris. I love this place. Friendly wait-​staff and even the grill master wants to make sure you enjoy your meal.

My patty melt was excellent… it comes on Texas toast and the staff is great. Only negative is that it’s a bit greasy

Hop in the Wayback machine and get ready to have one of the best hamburgers on the planet. This place is a classic. Counter service or hit the drive through (more of a drive up window really). Burgers are great quality beef and cooked perfectly. Fries are awesome. Staff is super friendly and you are sure to meet some characters at the counter. A must stop in the entire state of Texas let alone Paris!

Worked here in high school, and I still crave it all the time! Great place. This is by far the best place to get a burger in town. If you don’t like the tight atmosphere of eating at a bar, there are picnic tables outside if the weather allows it. You can also call in to order if you want to take it home. Fries are a little limp for my liking, so I order mine «extra crispy». Great menu, great owners, great staff. Burgerland tastes like home.

OK, so there aren’t a whole lot of choices in Paris, but from the Unilocal reviews we decided to try Burger Land out. We ordered what I thought was pretty straightforward, A chili dog, a hamburger (with everything), and a double cheeseburger with pickles, plus large fries. Yeah, a sizeable order, but shouldn’t be beyond the reach of any restaurant. Unfortunately, we had to wait almost 40 minutes for our order to come out… people who had ordered before us were in and out (pun intended) before us!
When we finally received our meal, we found a pretty solid burger, with delicious meat and crisp veggies. The fries were freshly cut, and there was a serious pile of them included in the order. My goodness, you can easily share this with 3 people. While the burgers were good, the hot dog was just meh. The sausage was large and a bit greasy, while the cheese was unmelted and the chili was more bland than anything else.
Overall, not a bad lunch, but they could definitely improve with wait times.

Awesome dive burger joint, and I mean that has a high compliment! Seating is very limited, being mainly stools along the counter across from the food prep area, so you might want to visit during off-​peak times. We were there on a Saturday afternoon around 2 and it was still busy.
The kid maning the flat top was wonderful to watch as he cooked up the burgers and other fair. We had cheeseburgers and split an order of fries, which was still more than we could finish. Everything was delicious. If you are stuffy/​finicky you won’t dig it, but that just means there will be more for ME! :)

Holy cow. These burgers are spot on! From the soft, pillowy buns to the juicy, perfectly-​sized patties — every bite was divine. The fries were pretty amazing, too, and the small order was HUGE. I live in Dallas, but, I’m not going to lie, if it’s a pretty day, I can see myself doing the 1.5 hour drive for one of these burgers!

Best burgers in Paris! Very friendly staff and owner. Cam is the man. They have amazing seasoning and always go above and beyond to make sure your order and experience is great.

Definitely the best burger you’ll ever have. I got the patty melt. It was hot and so tasty. I also got the small fry and when they served it to me, I thought they made a mistake it was so huge. They are very attentive to refilling beverages. Did I mention the prices are cheap? You have to try this if you’re a burger lover!

We ate here for a late lunch on our road trip. Around 2 pm, the place was hoppin’ even at that time. I had their burger with cheese, mustard, onions, lettuce, and tomato and my husband had just a plain burger, nothing on it. Delicious! Fresh made, great burgers. We also had a small fry, which was large enough to split. Staff was very friendly and gave great service. Someone always stopped to check if our drinks needed filling. If you’re in the area and want a good burger, stop here! Not a very big place, just a bar to sit up at. Seating is very limited.

I’ve done quite some traveling in my life and this may be the best burger and fries combo I’ve ever had. Two thumbs up! Great staff, fun atmosphere, even better food.

My husband and I travel a lot. During these travels we always use Unilocal to find someplace new to eat. Burgerland did not disappoint! We sat behind the grill cook, watching and anxiously awaiting our food. That man had some mad grill top skills! My patty melt was juicy and delicious, my husbands cheeseburger was just as good, we don’t know how someone could eat a double, as their burgers are good sized! Fresh cut fries were good. Our server was very friendly! Great job.

Best burger I’ve had in Texas if you come to Paris don’t miss this old fashioned joint. Friendly staff and a small order of fries is more than you can eat, and made fresh there. The old flattop grill has had to of cooked a million burgers since 1948do yourself a favor and step back in time and cone to Burger Land five burger rating

Wow… Best burger I’ve had in quite a while. It’s just a standard old burger joint. Definitely nothing fancy about the place. But good luck getting a seat at lunch time. If you are by yourself order the small fries. A small order is enough for two people.

OMG. This was the most fantastic burger and fries I’ve ever had. Fun atmosphere and very friendly people. The food was fast and delicious, as all burger joints should be! I will definitely drive out of my way to eat here again!
