For a Friday night, the place was dead. We were the only table there for about half the meal, which caused the waitress to rush us a bit, but at least she was polite. The food was a bit inconsistent, but the filet was quite good considering its in Paris. Cooked well, and was decently tender. The okra could have been a bit fresher, and the Mac and cheese was watery. But hey, it’s better than going to Chilis.

Great staff. Good food. Enjoyable atmosphere. We had fried foods that didn’t drip grease and burgers that were fantastic. Thanks!

I ate at the Cattle Drive Steakhouse on a Friday evening. The building is very striking. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. I chose the chicken fried steak. It came with my choice of two sides and texas toast. I chose the side salad and a baked potato. The side salad was fresh and crisp with tangy Ranch dressing, but was very small. The baked potato was brought out with the steak. The bring out a fixin’s bar with bacon bits, onions, cheese, and sour cream. My baked potato was undercooked and not as hot as I like them. I was shocked when I saw the chicken fried steak. It covered an entire serving platter. While it was huge, it was kind of bland and quite thin. I ended up taking half of it home. I thought the price was about right at $ 10.99 for the amount of food. I would recommend that they tweak their seasoning and turn up the oven on those taters.
