The club house is shiny and new and I like the layout of the place. When you walk in you can go into the bar on the right or the more formal sit down restaurant on the left. Both sides serve food but my boyfriend and I always go to the bar. The drink prices are great(but then again I’m from Chicago). $ 4 for a glass of decent Pinot Grigio, beers are about $ 3 – 5 depending on what you get. They have a few on tap like Dogfish Head IPA and Blue Moon. Definitely a decent selection of booze. The food is all right. My bf always orders the burger and while he likes it, it looks kind of plain and bland. They could be a little more creative on their burger options. Being a vegetarian here sure is a challenge but it means I’ve ordered more items. The Greek salad is good, but not intended as an entrée. I usually get a pasta dish or an appetizer to accompany it. The fried pickles and mushrooms and french fries are good. As you’d expect of a bar. The southwest salad is much more filling although it was a whole lot of lettuce and not enough fixings, in my opinion. The pasta is ok. I had a spicy garlic sauce dish that was bland and overpriced for a bowl of angel hair covered in some pretty tasteless sauce. I wouldn’t recommend that dish at all. The ravioli is better on target. Basically you can see everything food-wise is hit or miss. The staff is pretty friendly, there are locals shuffling in and out, lots of TVs with all sorts of sporting events playing, a patio for the nicer weather and all in all a decent atmosphere. I will say that one thing to improve the bar is to dim the lights a bit. It is very bright in the bar, which is seems odd to me. The place still has a few things to work out but stick to the bar food items like appetizers and a few drinks and you’ll be fine.

Eat here on a regular basis. Tony and his staff are very hospitable and food is terrific. Our favorite is the Cajun pasta.

I grew up on this course and ate thousands of meals at this club when it was good olé SHCC. I like their new digs and I wish them luck, but they need help. The food was not good and you can tell there is no passion for what they are doing. The servers were great and they seem to care, but they’re not getting the support from neither the kitchen nor management. Do yourself a favor and hire a professional consultant(outside of Paris) or start studying shows like Restaurant Impossible or Kitchen Nightmares to get ideas on what to do and what not to do. I guarantee it will help… Y’all have a good location and a community that will support you if you can figure out how to do it right. Back in the day eating at the club was a bi-weekly ritual and the place was always packed(and the place was a dump back then). Take advantage of the great opportunity with the new building and kick it up a notch(or two)…

This place is our favorite. We really enjoy the buffalo chicken soup as well as the grown-up grilled cheese sandwich. For the most part the service is wonderful and the view is amazing looking out onto the golf course, sometimes there is a server working that is absolutely poor in her service. Regardless of that though if you can avoid her whenever she is working then you will be great. This is a great place to go to whenever you are in Paris.
