I have had the opportunity to eat at the bistro on several different occasions. The food has always been very good. It is always Clean and you can see the cooks preparing your food. The staff is ALWAYS Cheerful and helpful. I wish that the owners would consider adding a pizzeria at some point in time. Having lived in Sicily for over a year I miss the great foods from the area.

I gave this restaurant 5 stars for various reasons. 1. Food price. The prices on the menu are VERY reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get. 2. Service. The staff of only three are very attentive, offers suggestions, knows their menu and top sellers. ALL are very friendly. 3. You will not go away hungry or disappointed. Make sure to try the wine tasting prior to your meal so you can enjoy a glass or bottle with your meal. If you can’t do tasting before, definitely try after.

We had a great meal here on a beautiful evening. The outside patio with a bottle of their excellent Cabernet Reserve and cheese and olives appetizer. The eggplant and marinara appetizer was great also. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich special was the best I have had in years. My wife had the angel hair pasta and eggplant which she loved. A lovely evening and a unique dining experience for these parts where mediocre buffets are the norm. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area. Lisa and Roger have built a very impressive winery with great wines and now food.

The owners of this place are real nice folks. It’s a winery, with free taste testing, and the restaurant is toward the back. I feel my first meal there was a bit overpriced for just a sandwich. I got the special of the day, an Italian Cheese Steak Sandwich. I feel that the meal needed just a little something to go with it.

I am giving 4 stars even though I didn’t care for my lunch because I tried my Dad’s and my daughter’s and they were sooo good. Ok, so, the bad first. I ordered a spicy Italian sausage sandwich. It had peppers and onions on it which were good but that was all I liked about it. The sausage was not spicy, not even mildly so, it was so bland! And it was left whole like a big, thick bratwurst. This made it more like eating a hotdog than a sandwich which was awkward because it was so big. It would have been better if it was sliced in half and then placed on the bun. It was also GREASY. My face and hands were dripping with grease which grossed me out. My napkin was clear when I was finished. I was less than satisfied. The good? Well, my daughter ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Angel hair pasta with homemade sauce and the most delicious homemade meatball on top. It was super yummy. Especially the meatball! She got a very generous portion for it being kid sized. I definitely recommend it. My Dad got the special that day. I don’t remember what it was called but it was some sort of spaghetti pie. It had pasta, meat, veggies, sauce and cheese and was really, really good! There wasn’t a scrap left on his plate! The place is very nicely decorated, clean and friendly. There are three big tables so, I imagine when it’s busy you may be sharing your table. To me, that is kind of quaint. There is definitely a very homey, relaxed feeling about this place. So, obviously, I ordered the wrong thing when I came. While my lunch was not so good, my dad and daughter’s meals were phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and eager to please I just didn’t have the heart to send mine back. I just grinned and ate it all up. Next time I will be smart and stick to the pasta! And there will definitely be a next time!
