Went out for some dinner, Sunday night, with the wife. We decided to try something new so 501 was picked out of a large list of options. Understandably busy, we waited about 5 mins up front without any eye contact from any of the service staff, though we could see them attending current guests. We were offered two seats at the bar since we didn’t have reservations, which we thought was awesome. We sat at the bar for a few mins, waiting for the bar tender to come out of the kitchen, which is fine– once again, understandably busy. But when he did come out, he looked at me, looked at my wife, stared for a long second, then walked away and greeted the table behind us! Not one word, not any acknowledgement. Trying not to feel completely blown off, we checked out the menu. Another, let’s say, 5 or so minutes passed by and we were still sitting there without acknowledgement. In our humble opinion, we felt intentionally ignored, and will be recommending 501 to the rudest, lowest tipping, people we know.

I had a bite of my husbands bison burger(closet vegan) and its tremendous! I had the curry wrap, equally fantastic! Great service, the best food we’ve had in Park City.

Having both grown up and now currently working in a ski town, I like to think I’m pretty understanding of the typical ski town culture. Typically the food is overpriced and underwhelming. Typically the service is lackluster. Typically food allergies are met with rolling of eyeballs. And while it may be personal bias that leads me to tell you that Truckee is notable NOT this way, it IS my experience in Park City so far… save for one delicious and pleasant meal at 501 on Main. Right from the start, the service stood out above and beyond all of our previous experiences. The hostess greeted our large party and rather than dismissing us back to the cold, she made the effort to find a place for us at the bar. Once there, the bartender Alyssa took exceptionally good care of us. She made smart recommendations, offered water without our asking, and was lovely to talk to. She even handled an obnoxiously uppity party of three with deft and appropriate language and behavior. After discovering that our attempts to make a reservation at a nearby restaurant had been pushed even further back(that whole lackluster service thing again) we decided to just stay at 501 for dinner. A decision that turned out to be one of our best for the entire ski trip. The food was delicious. And coming from this Celiac, the certified gluten free kitchen is such a welcome respite from all the brat sandwiches, pizzas, fried everything, and lack of Cider that I’d become accustomed to over the past few days. I had a perfectly prepared Ratatoulle, while the rest of my party had amazing steak salads, prime rib, and almond crusted trout. Almost every item on the menu can be prepared with a gluten free option. And WITHOUT sacrificing taste. So thank you 501 on Main for making an extra effort, it was noticed by everyone in my party. And thank you Alyssa for your kindness and professionalism.

Excellent food. We had the Rubin sandwich, Turkey Melt Sandwich, fries, beat salad and Caesar salad. Atmosphere was nothing special. Service was good. Will go back again for food.

Great food, cozy atmosphere with lazy service. Pecan crusted trout was amazing and so was the beef tenderloin. The food portions were decent. Ending the dinner we ordered a dessert brownie dish and it was dried out(FYI, serving with ice cream DIDN’T change it) others tried the Apple pie with carmalized apples it was tasty and a berry dessert that was also a better choice. Of the party of 10, 7 ordeted coffee that we had to Ask for it was nevwr offered. We were served 7 different variations of brown water in lieu of coffee. Not sure what this concotion was, but barely warm. We were all in shock. Unfortunately this is the last memory of the place. Pretty sure the server was not a coffee drinker.

This place was good! It’s nice and cozy on Main Street. We went to eat here after a long day of tubing. We ordered the lobster bisque, it was delicious! We also got a tomato soup with coconut milk i believe that was extraordinary! I got the bison burger with a local amber ale which was also extremely delicious. Definitely recommend this place.

I had a very enjoyable time here having a nice lunch while watching a playoff game. I was solo while my man was skiing so decided to try the more casual pub area; there is fine dining upstairs. Small bar(7 – 8 seats) but had three different screens to keep NFL&FIFA fans happy and also provide ski porn since we are in Park City, after all. I had a pint of the 501 Organic Amber ale(by Squatters) which went very well with my ½ Reuben and cup of Tomato Trio, a nice bisque with coconut milk. The homemade sauerkraut in the satisfying sandwich balanced the sweetness of the soup, which I think would have been a little too sweet alone. I think their«Choose Two» lunch option is great, with 9 selections to mix to your liking. It came with a small portion of excellent fries and a small piece of tasty bread for dunking. For $ 13, I think a solid value for a very nice meal. The service from the amiable bartender was quite pleasant, my fellow patrons and atmosphere friendly. May have to return for dinner upstairs sometime.

Lunch was delicious in this cute and cozy corner spot. The lobster bisque was delicious! The portions were big and my cup of soup and salad combo was the size of a full salad! The hubs enjoyed his pot roast sandwich very much. Definitely enjoyed popping in from the cold to enjoy a nice lunch.

Amazing food, great service. Shrimp tempura appetizer was a great beginning. My daughter has a dairy allergy so it’s hard to find quality food that she can eat but the vegan curry here definitely fit that bill. My chicken and shrimp Alfredo had just the right kick. Probably the best Alfredo I have ever had. And the fresh berry pie put just the right finish on the dinner. Maria, our server, was very attentive and we never waited more than a couple of minutes for our next course.

Sorry to give this place a bad review, but the website said that it was a vegan restaurant and it wasn’t. They had roughly three choices which every restaurant has that. Customer service was very nice, but we did not have a waitress come to us with in 5 mins. We decided to leave because it wasn’t what we really wanted to eat or support.

We ordered our Linner(came around 4pm) and there were about 6 of us. The ambiance here is a good vibe with a bar right as you walk in and a cozy feel. The staff is young and laid back. The menu has lots of options to choose from including vegetarian(although not the best). Our food took about 45 minutes to arrive which I thought was a long time for an empty restaurant. I enjoyed my food but nothing stood out. It is comfort food with lots of cheese, sauce and bread. Not really my scene but alright. I ordered the turkey sandwich with soup… They seemed really heavy, creamy and not very fresh. It tasted OK… but not my thing. rate 3⁄5 for long service and OK food

Food was OK, service was horrible. Waiter forgot several items, left questions unanswered, made us feel concerned about their payment system. I recommend visiting other of the many restaurants in Main St.

We stumbled upon this restaurant as we walked through town. We ordered a cocktail(wine for him and dirty martini for her). The waiter knew we were out of towners when we looked at the martini size with confusion. Our waiter educated us that Utah law only permits a certain amount of alcohol per drink. It took approximately 15 minutes from seating until we received our drinks. Not as quick as we are used to in sunny South Florida; however, no big deal. For an appetizer we shared the hummus plate– nothing special, but a classic and good portion size. For dinner we shared a cup of the vegan chili, which could’ve been a little warmer, and the pot roast– both very delicious and tasty! The waiter even had the kitchen share our meal on two plates. Our waiter was lovely and the ambience we laid back and charming.

On a recent trip to PC some co-workers and I arrived a little late and we were looking for some good local food and this place caught my eye because they claim to cook with organic ingredients and decided to give it a try… the service started off a little slow and so did getting our drinks but after that everything went great. I personally decided upon the Mediterranean chicken and started with the beet salad… my co worker got the pot roast and kicked myself a little when it came out, but either way my chicken was soooo good! but back up a little the starter salad should’ve been split it was a very good sized portion which I liked because a lot of times you order a salad before a meal and you feel totally ripped off… the freshness and quality was totally on point and the beets were delicious and very fresh. Now onto the chicken… the breast was so flavorful and moist and it was on top of some very creamy mashed potatoes accompanied by fresh vegetables and topped with some sundried tomatoes… this was probably one of better dishes I have had in a long time. Another one of my co-workers got the same thing and equally enjoyed it… everyone enjoyed everything and you could tell because by the end of the meal there wasn’t one thing left on anyone’s plate… my guess would be is that is the best compliment to any chef! My recommendation would be is to be a little patient but food was worth it.501 on Main is something to try in Park City.

It pains me to write bad reviews, but… if I could give this place negative stars I would. To start with, there was a group of 4 of us and we were seated at the smallest bar table possible. We immediately ordered drinks and had to wait about 15 minutes before the waiter came back with just water. Surprise surprise, he forgot about our drink orders– beer and wine– pour it in a glass, easy enough right? Not here. We ordered a caprese to start with(no cooking involved) yet they brought it out with our entrees, which we waited about 30 minutes for so we were STARVING by this point. 4 people, you would expect 4 crostinis right? They gave us 3, and they were teeny tiny so you couldn’t really split one. Our wine/beer/water glasses were empty pretty much by the time we got our food and we had to ask for a refill multiple times before we got any sort of liquid replenishment. The food itself ok– the lobster bisque tasted like it came out of a can and the lobster was barely visible. The vegetable risotto was good but could have cut way back on the butter and cream. We were so upset with the service we were just ready for the check and a run to McDonald’s. Stay away from this place people– there are much better places to eat at in Park City.

My wife and I are vacationing here from Kansas City. Celebrating our 3rd anniversary to be precise. We decided to stop here while walking around Park City. It was toward closing time so one would expect«quickly» prepared food. NOTSO! Our server was terrific! Informative and polite which was refreshing. My wife is vegetarian, but I’m not. Nevertheless, everything we ordered was layered with incredible flavor! I would highly recommend this restaurant for everyone. We’re going back for lunch and dessert!

Had the bison burger, shrimp tempura and the tomato basil soup! All awesome — so definitely give it a try. Split all entrees with the hubby and we left satisfied and not stuffed! Sunrise Tequila was quite fruity almost like a juice — turns up the tequila did have a give a good twist!

This was a wonderful surprise. I never know what I am walking into worth a cage feel to a place. I have this idea of sandwiches and simple to go food. Road place was simple but the chef does wonders with the food. The whole table was impressed with their meals. I loved the salmon salad. .and the Cajun dressing was yummy! The service was great and helpful. Oh and I shared the pie because I was already full but had to try it. .amazing! Great job.
