Bazooka’s Freeride

The shop is great! We stumbled upon them after I saw they had a sale on backpack! I ended up buying a Burton Backback for half off! The real cool deal about the shop was that the next day, my sons binding on his snowboard was not letting his right foot on. we went to several shops but they don’t repair snowboard bindings… went to bazooka and wham… they fixed it and showed me how to fix it again if it happens! Awesome shop and awesome crew! We will be back to shop!

I had major issues with setting my bindings. I’d bought my setup elsewhere and I was struggling to ride with it even after resetting it several times. Lance reset them and it was a much better ride after that! Thanks Lance!

The ladder on my binding snapped completely off on my second or third run. I went in and both guys working were so helpful! They found a piece that almost fit and whipped out some shearers to ensure it fit exactly. The guy who helped was actually enthusiastic about finding a solution for me. Awesome service!

I am very pleased with the team at Bazookas. They helped my every step with setting up my snowboard and my boots. Scott helped me and was very interested in helping me with my questions.

I have been snowboarding for 18 years, and this is by far the best snowboard shop I have visited. A few days ago I called these guys looking for a boot/​binding combo I couldn’t find in two other towns/​cities, and Bazooka had them. Scott pulled them off the shelf and held them for me until I could visit the store.
Unlike a lot snowboard shops where staff just want to sell and get you out the door, Scott and Lance helped me determine that I was buying the right gear for my body and riding style. It turns out for years I had been riding too big of boots, and Bazooka moved me down to a size that is not only more comfortable but gives me better control out on the mountain.
And it gets better: I decided to demo a board, thinking end of season is a great time to get a nice deal. They set me up on a advanced free ride board and popped my new bindings on it. They made the demo FREE, which usually only happens at snowboard shops if you actually buy the board.
I loved the demo but wanted to test one more board to make sure I was getting the right thing. Bazooka let me demo yet another board for FREE. I liked the second demo too, but I was able to figure out that the first board — their initial recommendation — was perfect for me and would better complement the other board in my quiver.
It also turned out that the demo board was for sale. Now, normally I’m skeptical about buying used gear, but Lance looked up how many days the board had been used. It had only been out on the mountain 8 times and showed no wear and tear at all. I bought the demo board at a STEEP discount.
Yesterday morning, I was bombing powder on my new Rossignol XV Magtek /​Salomon Quantum bindings /​Salomon Malamute boots, and feeling so grateful that I went to Bazooka and worked with the guys there.
If you need snowboard gear, this should be your first stop in Park City.

After holding out on getting a new Riding Setup for about 13 years, I finally gave in and got a brand new Stick, Bindings and Boots for ridiculously good prices. My dude Victor helped me with all kinds of questions I had. That guy has a wealth of knowledge on board sizes and how it correlates to riding preferences and rider dimensions. BEST SNOWBOARD SHOP IN UTAH due to phenomenal customer services and great late-​season deals!

The dudes at Bazookas hooked it up. Helped me with a lost highback screw and got me out riding in under a minute. Super nice staff and great stock of products.

BEST SHOP IN TOWN!!! I was lucky enough to be hitting the slopes in Park City over President’s day weekend and stumbled upon Bazookas, which is conveniently located right on the mountain. I don’t own my own skis as I am new to the sport of shredding the gnarrr, and so every time I have gone to hit the slopes I have rented skis and boots. This time was hands down the best experience both in service and equipment, the guys who work in the shop are so awesome, super friendly and helpful, they even helped me every day get my boots strapped on, now that’s service!!! I can’t wait to come back to Park City, this is my favorite mountain to ski without question, and I will no doubt be heading back to Bazookas to visit my new friends!

It was dumping powder outside and I wanted to take full advantage, but my Oakley Canopies were missing low light lenses and my GoPro was missing its mount. Stopped in to Bazooka’s and BOOM — they hooked me up with the perfect HI Yellow lense for the conditions, some mounting gear for my camera and a custom pole to get some killer shots out there.
Super cool team of guys in this shop and they all went above and beyond for us with an awesome attitude about their work. Really top notch and I’ll be back for whatever I need next time I’m at PCMR.

Within 5 minutes, or less, they had diagnosed my boot problem and told me what I needed to do to make my next snowboarding trip 100% better. They guys are knowledgeable and I would liken the experience to seeing a plastic surgeon that you have to have fix the mess the last surgeon got you in. (I have never had plastic surgery, but this seems like a fitting analogy).
I love them, and I will be going back next season to make sure that I don’t screw up the trip like I did this year, with the wrong gear.

While riding on the mountain, a highback screw from my binding had fallen off. After going to two stores who did not carry spare screws, I walked into Bazooka’s who had a whole toolbox of spare screws of every kind. The tech opened the box, put a perfect matching washer and screw, and mentioned that he would do a full binding checkup. At this point, I took a deep gulp, thinking he was going to charge me $ 30 for such a simple task. He checked and tightened every screw on the binding, from the footbed, to the straps, to the highback. When he was done, I asked him how much it would be, and he said not to worry about it. I was taken by surprise and thanked him for his help.
If you’re in the Park City Mountain Resort area and need any tune-​ups, I highly recommend checking out this shop for your needs. These guys are great and know what they’re doing. They have everything from high-​end gear, demos, soft goods, and repair services.

If you need to rent snowboards don’t even bother going to the other shops littered at the base of Park City Mountain Resort. We rented from one of the tourist traps on our first day of boarding and I was given a board that was WAY too big for me. We got a tip from a local to check out Bazooka’s– it must have been a gift granted to us by the snow gods.
The staff at Bazooka’s is great. They’re all laid back, know exactly what they’re talking about and are friendly. The gear is also the best you can rent on the mountain– you’ll be riding on retail boards, not your run of the mill rental boards that other places pawn off. Oh, did I mention that the rental prices were cheaper than the joint we were at on day 1?
Don’t waste time or money– get yourself to Bazookas and to the slopes, stat.
