The only reason I gave this place two stars is because the hostess was very accommodating and the server we had(albeit her attitude) was very knowledgable. Having been to so many amazing restaurants in park city and hearing good things about Grappa we decided to try it out but it was a huge disappointment and I wish we hadn’t. The breezeway in what you have to wait was crowded and over packed and freezing because the door being open and there was no fireplace or warm place to wait. Then when it came to food it wasn’t very good at all, we had the bolognese Bianco. And seriously I could not even believe what it was it was not good at all for what the server recommended we also got the Bronzino which was very small and lacking flavor. Our server had this attitude the whole time she was serving and never made us feel warm and welcome. The worst part? We sat down to order and my friend was overly excited for the risotto and the server explained it so well etc. BUTTEN minutes later she comes back and says they are OUT?! how can you be this expensive of a restaurant and high rated yet your kitchen can’t keep a count?! We were upset and she did nothing a hostess or manager came over to take his order and asked what else he wanted. He succumbed to a gluten free pasta that was subpar. Overall the restaurant has a nice flair to it.

Perfect for: the people who love Italian food and swear the best place is somewhere else but always searching for some food Italian food. Also with its unique architecture almost every seat in the house is the best making it perfect for dates or group outings. Service: I was here during one of the busiest times of the year, for Sundance Film Festival. We were seated for our 9:15 reservation around 9:20pm. The server had an outstanding personality and helpful attitude. We were served in a very timely manner. The wine list was extensive and fairly priced compared to other places. The food was amazing to the sight and taste. I had the asparagus flat bread which was delicious with hot Parmesan falling off the bread. Next course I had was the garden salad. I’m not big on salads but it was one of the lightest, yet most fulfilling salads I’ve ever had. I also had the lasagna with mushrooms and kale, pretty creamy but great choice for vegetarians looking to fill up.
