So frustrated. I ordered chocolate covered strawberries for my Valentine 7 days in advance. When I arrived to pick them up they were accepting cash only. A phone call would’ve been nice especially because I called ahead. Needless to say my Valentine didn’t get his chocolate covered strawberries.

We bought an assortment of chocolate truffles which were good. Not great but good. I really think a smaller size would be better. But this is about the ice cream. I had a kiddie cone with cookie dough. Except for the pieces of cookie dough and small chocolate chips the ice cream had no flavor. Husband had butterfingers ice cream and again except for pieces of the candy bar no flavor. So stick to the chocolate. If you want ice cream buy it from somewhere else.

This place was ok, I have had their chocolate treats before, and yesterday I tried their chocolate Ice Cream. It tastes good, I can’t complain, but it’s not the best I ever had. Their customer service is very friendly, and efficiant.

Look at all these awesome, locally made chocolates! SOAWESOME! So why, OHWHY, would you serve hot cocoa that has sugar AND corn syrup ANDHFCS as the first three ingredients?!? MEGAEW! And why, WHY, would you serve it w fake whipped cream(when I’m standing in front of deserts covered in fresh whipped cream). Double EW!(hence the three stars) If you’re gonna serve awesome gourmet chocolates then have the courtesy to serve gourmet hot cocoa!

Writing this place off forever. I gave it one more shot the following night since I was craving sugar(stupid insatiable sweet tooth). I got a caramel apple drizzled with milk chocolate for $ 6 — because really, how can you mess up a caramel apple? Apparently this place can. I drove back to the hotel, took a huge bite and promptly spit it out and tossed the apple in the trash — I was MAD. Six dollars in the garbage. The apple was completely, inedibly mealy and rotting inside. Good grief.

The chocolate, goodies, and ice cream are what you would expect. But what is up with the punky teen attitude? I have been in the store twice and both times was greeted with rude teens. There did not appear to be anybody in charge and it seemed like it was run by the teens. I guess if you really want the chocolate and ice cream that bad you’ll have to put up with it, I would rather go somewhere else.

The ice cream & chocolate treats are awesome but the kids who work there are rude and unhelpful. Even though our goodies were yummy I’ll choose someplace else next time because of the unpleasant attitude.

The staff member that was helping us was very rude and didn’t appear that he wanted to be there. His whole demeanor from the start gave off vibes we were not welcome and that we were causing us work. When we ordered a caramel apple he cut it, but not all the way through. My small boy asked him very politely if he could cut it better. He replied«I don’t know what he wants. I have never heard of cutting it like that before.» We explained that he just wants the pieces cut all the way through. He just stared at it awhile and then said I don’t know what he wants and said here you cut it. We finally took the knife and cut it ourself. We spent $ 19 and got lousy treatment We will never be back.

Yup, places like this one is why we should eat dessert first… and then walk up and down main street to enjoy it!

Pretty big store full of chocolate goodness. Store wasnt busy and while 3 girls were working the counter, they are slow to help you out. Once they did, it went smoothly. What do you expect from 3 teenage girls running the place. All in all its a great place for your sweet tooth. Everything is good!

Whenever I’m strolling down Main Street I get suckered into this store. And every single time I make a purchase and take a bite of their chocolate, my lukewarm reaction is the same — «meh.» Bonus points because they have sugar free chocolates, but half the time the stuff I buy is really old(and tastes that way). I’ve gotten so many not-so-fresh pieces of candy here that I don’t even know why I bother. Perhaps it’s just the sugar free stuff that’s left to wither in the case. Consider yourself warned.

I can’t go to a spot with a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory without visiting. The caramel apples are always delicious and they have a ton of different coatings. Everything is always freshly made and if you go during the day you often can see them preparing the caramel apples. We had the S’more Marshmallow(marshmallow dipped in chocolate then rolled in graham cracker) on our last visit and it was awesome. I will be recreating this at home! Only disappointment is this place is pretty expensive for just dessert.

This place is GOOD. Every time I found myself eating on Main Street, I would have to stop in here. Everything was always fresh and there are just so many things to choose from. I usually ended up with a caramel apple covered in M&Ms. Docked a star off because it is pretty expensive for candy.

RMCF had a constant stream of tourists and happy faces so I decided to walk on over to check out the goodies. Homemade fudge in different flavors, no surprises here! Staff was friendly but a bit understaffed. I am not a huge fudge fan but when in… Park City, I guess. Good thing is they have a bunch of tempting items for any sweet tooth.

You better like chocolate when you come here! Rich, creamy, coma-inducing dark stuff to surely make your taste buds wanting more. I love good homemade chocolate… I just wish I could eat more of it before my brain falls out from overload of sugar and caffeine. You have to try RMCF at least once, a week… a year, or any time you are in the area.

Hmmm, chocolate, hmmm Lots of choices and lots of people. I got a multi pack to share with friends and a little bit of milk chocolate, caramel, and nuts all rolled into yumminess.

A heaven for all ladies everywhere!!! Honestly, they can’t be detracted once they’ve located Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in their sights. It’s hopeless gentlemen! This is an ultimate chocolate, carmel apple, fudge, ice cream, etc. stop for all things dessert in Park City. It’s very good.

My throbbing sweet tooth wouldn’t calm down in the high altitude so we decided to stop by this Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to seek relieve. Located across the street from No Name Saloon, their interior is shared with Dolly’s Bookstore but they are spacious enough to carry an assortment of caramel apples, chocolates, and other sweet indulgence that includes 12 flavors of fresh homemade ice cream. My server happens to be a San Diego native and provided me with a sample of Grasshopper ice cream which had plenty of tasty Oreo cookies fully integrated in mint flavored ice cream. The instantaneous wow factor that kicked in was quickly overshadowed by a taste of their robust, semi-sweet Butterfinger ice cream which had depth in flavor to couple with a smooth texture that impressed. I eventually settled for a scoop of Rocky Road which was packed all the way to the bottom of a crispy sugar cone that gave a subtle hint of vanilla in every bite($ 2.95). Dimensions of chocolate, marshmallows and nuts were outstanding but the overall texture of their ice cream could be thicker in order for me to consider them the equivalent of Mitchells or Bi-Rite. I also tried an Oreo cookie dipped in mint chocolate(95 cents) that came with a thin layer of semi-sweet mint coating to renew my childhood fascination with Oreos. The stick of marshmallow dipped in cinnamon brown sugar caramel($ 1.50) was a big time sugary out of control, but the equivalent that was dipped in caramel and milk chocolate($ 1.50) received a higher mark for having a thicker texture and better taste. Service was friendly, down to earth, and approachable. Their ice cream embodied a similar quality to Joe’s so I would definitely be interested in returning the next time I’m in the area.

I am not a huge fan of sweets, but the sheer variety of heart stopping goodies here is amazing. They have around 10 varieties of candied apples. You can probably find any nut/fruit/meat product(jk on the meats) dipped in every type of chocolate. And caramel. And sugar. The only problem I have with this place is it is usually packed, and therefore tough to maneuver. For whatever reason large men tend to gravitate towards the very front and stay there for extended periods of time blocking the view of all the sugary goodness and making it difficult for fat kids like myself to make an informed decision on what they are going to inhale next. all in all, good stuff

Great stuff, just wish it was a bit cheaper. We got a few assorted bits and a really good apple.
