This was a MAGICAL experience. We took the sleigh ride to the restaurant. The restaurant is a rustic barn with a roaring fireplace and lots of attention to detail. The chef prepares an amazing dinner while the guests listen to live country music. To start you can choose from chili or cream of mushroom soup — both of which are terrific. The cream of mushroom soup is like nothing I’ve ever tasted and is less creamy(which is good) than other similar soups. The chili is really hearty. I would recommend getting one of each and sharing just so you can try them both. They serve really fresh yummy bread with it too. This was probably enough food in itself but the next course is fun — you can choose the prime rib, mesquite chicken or fresh Idaho trout. The trout is — hands down — the best. It literally was caught that day and melts in your mouth. Following this was a brownie sundae. The staff was so nice and dressed as Cowboys. Please go here — you won’t regret it! Such a fun romantic evening or family adventure!

The Snowed Inn just called to cancel our sleigh ride. That’s not such a horrible thing, but they canceled it day-of(the last day of our trip, so we can’t reschedule) and made it sound like they canceled because my family(5 of us) was the only customer. That’s 2 star service. You can’t depend on them.

We are currently trying to get to Snowed Inn Sleigh Rides. There are only 2 roads to get there. One is closed due to a storm. The other is moving(literally) at 5 mph(or less). We have been stuck in traffic for an hour, and at this rate, we will get there(with 6 hungry kids aged 3 – 9) 3 hours late. I have been on the phone with Sleighed Inn many times in the past hour, and they will charge us $ 1100 for our party of 12 no matter what(despite the fact that we can’t control the weather or accidents that block roads for hours). Given the 24-hour cancellation policy, I would strongly advise people to look at the weather report 24 hours in advance and cancel if it looks like weather could be a problem. I would be happy if the restaurant could at least offer some sort of discount, or show some understanding for guests in this situation. We can’t grt there from here! At least not in under 3 hours. And how do you think my 3-year old daughter’s disposition will be eating dinner and getting to bed 3 hours late?

I can think of so many ways I could have spent $ 250 better than this event for 2. The sleigh ride was maybe 10 minutes. The dinner was cold and crappy. And It took forever to leave. The only good thing was the girl playing the guitar. I could’ve bought the same meal for $ 10 – 15 at a run of the mill restaurant. There were kids running all over the place everywhere. Oh well, I’ll know better next time.

Best kept secret lunch place while skiing park city. Off three kings lift and silver queen. Great bbq and super friendly staff. And no crowds. Third day eating here.

This by far has to be the worst meal I have ever had in my entire life. If you want to spend $ 111.51 for a ok sleigh ride with the tiniest undercooked prime with the worst Caesar salad not to mention sour cream aka horse radish with tons of kids everywhere then go. Not to mention my wife is sicker than hell Absolutely horrible!!!

We did a dinner ride one night for our honeymoon. We had an EXCELLENT time. The food was truly outstanding, the service, and the entire experience was wonderful. I can’t wait to come back next season! We are bringing some friends too! I highly recommend the apple cider, Utah Trout, and chili! This is a great couple or family experience! I am SO glad we decided to go! See you next season!

I was a little hesitant to keep our scheduled Snowed Inn dinner sleigh ride after a long and expensive week in Park City. However, I am extremely glad we splurged for the extra expense. To say«splurged» though really wouldn’t be fair considering the level of service and entertainment you get. We were picked up at the base of Park City and there was plenty of opportunity for the young ones to take pictures on and around the horses. The guides were informative and answered any questions you had. The trip up to the lodge was leisurely and fun. At the lodge, there is a live guitarist/singer who plays tons of country/rock classics and took some requests too. The lodge makes for a fantastic atmosphere with a nice fire burning, festive lights, and a rustic feel. I didn’t expect much from the food, but it was really fantastic. Everyone was super nice and we had a solid 2+ hours of family fun. I would strongly recommend this for people with young kids.

Lots of fun, no trouble getting to it, and food was just fine. Good storytelling by the cowboy, and the entertainment at dinner was enjoyable. Left one star off due to the price, but it was worth it, and we’ll do it again next year.

Just joined the Snowed Inn Sleigh Company this weekend for my anniversary and loved the experience! The food was much better than I was expecting. The inn was cute and warm. The people were fun and friendly – especially the owner who was also the chef! We went sledding on metal plates after the dinner, which was a blast. And the musical entertainment was terrific – took requests, and even learned a new song a few hours before we got there at my request that he played for my wife and I to dance to as we celebrated our anniversary – thanks Christian!!! The sleigh ride was shorter than I expected, but it was cold, so that was okay, and the view over Park City was amazing – especially with all of the Christmas lights up all over the place. All in all, we had an amazing night, and I would certainly do it again. Thank you Snowed Inn!!!

I’ll be honest about the experience. My family has been coming to Park City for 15 years and now we are part-time residents. In that time we have done a schmorgesborg of sleigh rides. Some with dinner, some without, some with a great sleigh ride and lousy dinner, some with a lousy ride and great dinner. The Snowed Inn fits right in the middle of the spectrum. It’s perfect for the group looking for the experience without freezing to death(the ride is relatively short) and the food is decent. The entertainment is always a guy you may or may not be able to understand playing a guitar. All in all it’s an experience. If you don’t expect fine-dining and a ride through the woods you will be in the right frame of mind. I always have fun, and I see plenty of families enjoying it as well. My only recommendation though is to bring your own wine! It’s the most economical alcohol to drink in Utah and their wine selection is pretty bad/overpriced, so paying the uncorking fee will save a big group quite a bit of money.

This was kind of fun & cute, but I really wish we would have just taken a sleigh ride & not decided to do it in negative degree weather! The food is not worth even going into details over, nor is the service. Simply put, it isn’t good, not even a little bit good, oh wait sorry the brownie was good, but even I can make good brownies. The chili was just plain nasty; don’t even go thereand try if you know what real good chili is like. We went during peak season so paid entirely too much I think it was over $ 100 a person if not right at $ 100, do not recall exact amount. The whole cowboy/cowgirl experience was cute, probably would be cuter if I didn’t live in Texas & see real country shyt all the time ;) Not sure what the deal was with the service, but for some reason our table of two was completely ignored the entire time(guess it is assumed larger tables tip better, not logical & not cool server!) For sure go for the ambience & the scene(not in negative degree weather), but certainly do not go there expecting a good meal or good service(the live music was nice though). We had fun even though we froze on the sleigh ride up to the restaurant, but we try to make the best out of situations even though they may not be ideal. I was hoping to really impress & treat my man on his birthday to a spectacular dinner & I definitely did not get that!

The 5 stars are for the entire experience. If you are looking for a 5 star meal in Park City…this isn’t it. If you have people from out of town, entertaining colleagues, don’t know what to do with your flatlander visitors during the winter-this is a great change of pace from a typical«sit in a restaraunt for a few hours» experience. You meet at the main lift area of the Park City Mountain Resort-there is a bar right there and if you sit in the right spot you can look out the window and have some warm up beverages until the sleighs show up. It’s a short ride up a hill and the warm cabin is welcome at this point. You’re in a cabin in the woods being served by cowboys, don’t expect white linen. I highly suggest bringing your own wine, it’s only a $ 7 corkage fee. From the sleigh drivers to the servers…everyone seems to enjoy working there. As for one of the reviewer comments about the horses-these are massive horses bred to do work like pulling stuff up hills, they look extremely healthy, well feed and well taken care of.

We were expecting nice ride but it was very short and uphill which made us feel sorry for horses. Food was just OK. There was no waiter service and instead everybody was asked to come with plates to counter to be served food. All together it is too expensive and not worth that price.

Any statement resembling something positive in regards to this«experience» is deceitful. For starters, the Snowed Inn Sleigh Company website boasts carrying«you from the Resort through the pristine slopes of the Park City Mountains by sleigh.» Let me translate: your experience will be riding up the end of a Park City green slope for merely ten minutes. Don’t forget to wave at the snowboarders gliding past you to catch the PayDay lift. I’m not sure I know where or how to begin with the food. Granted I’m only 23, but I would claim to have had many dining experiences that were worth $ 80. I accompanied my family of six on this trip, looking for the«old-fashioned,» western experience that others claimed to have obtained at Snowed Inn. None of the food was fresh — by that it was clear the food was prepared hours in advance. I partook in tasting the«Utah Trout» that was advertised as the staff’s favorite. Staff favorite = Snowed Inn is currently overstocked in Trout. The whole meal I was attempting to be a «team player» with my family, keeping my opinions to myself, trying not to hurt my mothers feelings. The bottom line is this: I kept thinking, «This food is prepared out of the box, nothing is fresh, and this ‘experience’ makes me want to take a shower. Surely we are paying $ 30 a head, MAX.» I could not believe this SCAM would force us to pay $ 80 per head; two nights ago we experienced one of my finest dining experiences to date for $ 30 per head cheaper! Please, do not let my family’s misfortune be in vain. DONOT eat at Snowed Inn Sleigh Company and tell everyone to do the same.
