After the way my mom’s pool was done, we will both be taking our business elsewhere. They told her she was 3rd in line for installation and then they kept bumping her down the list. She made her first payment in April and they didn’t come out until June. Instead of backing the truck up to the pool area, they brought a bobcat to scoop sand from the truck, drive it 15 feet, and shovel the sand from the bucket. They also scooped out the old sand, which was basically level, drove through the yard, and dumped it at the edge of my parent’s yard. A bobcat was not needed. Two of the installers had been working for 2 months, and the other… well, this was his FIRST pool. The sand was so unlevel that I could stand with my feet together and one wouldn’t touch the bottom. DONOTORDERTHEHAPPYBOTTOM! It came apart at the seams and left gaps for dirt to settle. My mom called several times to try to talk to the owner and she never got a call from him. They sent out two other guys twice and both said they’d let the owner know what was going on. STILL hadn’t heard from the owner. It took two weeks and several phone calls to get him out here. He finally showed up and said he’d be back out on the first sunny day to redo the bottom. My mom said she wasn’t sure she wanted it if it was going to come apart. This foam bottom is not a solid sheet like other pool stores offer. This is a roll that is cut and literally taped together. She asked for a refund. He said no because then he would have to eat the cost. That’s part of running a business! You have to take a loss sometimes, but he wasn’t willing to. He told my mom that if he redid it himself, he promised she’d love her pool. The next sunny day was a beautiful 85 degrees. No show. He came the next day, when we had a chance for rain, and had to leave because it started raining 15 minutes post arrival. The next sunny day, he didn’t show up again. My dad called and asked what the refund policy was and the guy was here within 2 hours. He took the liner out, tamped the sand, and reinstalled the happy bottom and liner. The foam bottom is coming apart at the seams again and the pool was not leveled. When you look at the pattern on the wall, you can see that it sags about an inch on one side. The markup on their foam bottom is insanely high. We found it elsewhere for hundreds less. Bad business. They tried to make it right, but I honestly don’t feel like they know what they’re doing our how to run a business. My mother has been turned off by this experience and I will be not be further purchasing products for my spa from this company.
