I tried their meatball sandwich for the first time and it was awesome! I ordered it with hot peppers which seems to be made fresh. I’m really picky about marinara sauce and this one was very flavorful.

Excellent food! The chopped salad and meatballs are my favorite.
Have used them for several house parties of 50 or more and each
time everything was great. I strongly suggest this place!!!

Gumba Joe’s (owned by the same guy who owned Sonny’s at Cumberland and Devon years ago) is fantastic. My family used to go to Sonny’s for pizza almost every Saturday night. When they closed, we all wore black for a few months.
Thankfully, we recently discovered Gumba Joe’s and realized that it has the same friendly owner and the same amazing thin crust pizza that we came to love at Sonny’s. They also have a half-​off pizza special on Monday nights, so you really can’t afford NOT to eat the best non-​chain pizza available in Park Ridge.

My family eats here often when we want a good meal that is quick. They have a sit down area in one half and counter service with ready made food in the other half.
The staff is very friendly and efficient.
The chopped salad is a favorite and the grilled sausage.
In the dining room sometimes they have a stuffed artichoke, delicious! Not too mushy with a little sauce on the bottom. Great flavor!
I do wish they would get some gluten free pasta for my kids.
