Don’t even. I was hoping that since there weren’t recent reviews that maybe they improved. The receptionist ladies are very sweet. But the doctor himself? Brasky, specifically? Downright horrible. Single-handedly one of the rudest doctors I’ve ever met. I’ve had previous tests done, even brought the paper results(no images) to the appointment with me. I know my health issues. I also know what runs in my family. Acid and digestive things run in my family, as well as very talented nurses who have been able to catch issues on our reports before they became major issues. This doc’s response when I mention that acid issues run in the family? «Well, how do YOU know that? How do you even test for that?» Excuse me? I’m not asking my family for specifics on this stuff unless I have to. And then he questions why I even think my issue is related to my gallbladder. It may be because I have gallbladder disease? That was diagnosed BY those tests? He didn’t even bother doing any tests, like a blood test. Wouldn’t give me a generic order for any tests either, since –he– can’t just write out an order if he’s not the one doing it. I had 3 tests done this year and was offered an endoscopy one, but I no longer am able to see that doc. Yes, you can. I’ve been to enough doctors to know he’s just trying to rob you blind. Btw, he prescribed me an anti-spasm med… that’s commonly used for ulcers. He mentioned not a single thing about ulcers. Ever. I also found out it may make you sleepy! Thanks for not mentioning this. :)

Aaarrrrgghhh. This place drives me nuts. If your doctor refers you here, ask them to send you somewhere else. Healthcare is one of those businesses that are all about people. As a healthcare professional, you deal with people every day. And not just any people, but people who are relying on you to provide them with accurate information on their health in a caring and considerate manner. If you can’t do that, get the eff out the business. And honestly I’m pretty sure this entire office needs to do that. Everybody here seems like they don’t give a damn about their patients. The nurses brush you off and the doctors seem to be content with diagnosing you based on the symptoms you check off on your new-patient paperwork, without doing any actual tests(Sorry, lady, but if you’re going to up and tell me I’ve got an incurable disease that will drastically alter my life and most surely require multiple surgeries and possible removal of organs in the future, I want you to be damn sure). I wasn’t impressed with their unprofessional attitudes, either. I’m introduced to my doctor upon being called back and on the way to her office she decides to stop and have a chat with one of the receptionists about lunch. While I stand there awkwardly. As I’m sitting in her office, my cell starts to vibrate. Cue the eyeroll and a snotty«Do you need to answer that?» from my doctor. Now, normally I’d just let it go to voicemail because I’m not so rude as to answer a call while I’m speaking to you, but since you mentioned it! Sheesh. Hours are horrid. Only open til 4:30? I mean, I don’t expect them to be open til 9. But comsidering they shut their entire office down for an hour(noon-1pm) to have lunch? You can’t even CALL them. They have an automated«office closed for lunch» telephone message. Also, it would be super ace if I didn’t have to listen to a five-minute long rambling automated message that tells me their location, their hours, that they’ve moved to a new location, and the names of all the doctors that work there before getting to the menu when I call. I think would also be spiffy if anybody ever ANSWEREDTHEPHONE. Don’t bother using the options for test/biopsy results or to talk to the nurse… Nobody answers. Choose«make an appointment» and let the receptionist connect you. Unless«you’d like a call back today» and don’t mind leaving a message… maybe. Lastly, it’s just bad service. I literally felt shoved out of the office at the end of my appointment. They told me I needed to take a blood test and handed me a bunch of paperwork. Um… Where do I go? What do I do with all these papers? Apparently I needed a referral from my insurance for the test because it was expensive. They’ll call it in and let me know when it comes in. Four days go by, no call. When I finally got ahold of them the nurse is all, «Oh. It came in… yesterday. I’ll mail it to you.» Thanks. And personally, I think that when your test results come in, your doctor should call you, even if it’s nothing. It provides peace of mind and means I don’t have to call you«in two weeks» to see if it came in. It’s good service. Grrrrr! Of course, I’m writing this like this because I’m mad. But ugh. Stay away from this place.

I had to get a procedure done by a doctor there. She made me feel very comfortable with the whole procedure. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of the questions I had prior to surgery. I was also glad that I was able to have a female doctor, as it would have been mildly uncomfortable had it been a man. Yay women in Math & Science! :)
