Permanent Makeup by Wanda

GENERAL:
I have been seeing Wanda for a few years now and have nothing but great things to say about her art work. I should mention that I am a general dentist working in Chicago and saying that I pay attention to detail is an understatement. To put it lightly, I can be a bit controlling and difficult to please. At my very first visit, I had my eyebrows done. I watched nervously in a mirror as she tattooed my eyebrows. I was surprised at how quickly she was finished. I have read that this procedure can take up to an hour but I was out in less than 30 min (with half of that time actually being tattooed). I hate to brag, but wow… my eyebrows look amazing! I still get compliments on them to this day. My eyebrows were not bad before but I always thought they looked better a little filled in. Now I wake up every morning with perfect eyebrows! Its really great, I would recommend it to anyone. I later went back to see Wanda to get my eye liner done. Which I NEVER thought I would do for obvious reasons (like what if i didn’t want to wear eyeliner somedays?). I told Wanda I wanted it to look very natural. I trusted her so much at this point, I just let her do her thing. She did such a phenomenal job. It looks exactly how I wanted it to look and I couldn’t be happier.
LOCATION:
I have been 3 different locations to see Wanda. All were extremely easy to find. Parking was never an issue (even in her downtown location!) and all facilities were clean and comfortable.
PAIN:
I was very worried about how much this was going to hurt. I am a bit of a baby when it comes to needles and I grow especially frantic with thing close to my eyes. Wanda uses a topical numbing agent before she starts and this helped more than I can describe. She must use a very strong topical agent because the pain was much less than I was expecting. Ultimately, your still getting a tattoo on you eye lid so keep in mind its not the most comfortable feeling. Wanda works very quickly and so even if you are having a bad experience, it doesn’t last very long.
MONEY:
This is a bit of an investment for beauty but I did some simple math and justified this expense. The amount of money I would have spend on eye liner and brow filler over the course of many years was much higher than what I would be investing on tattooing it in. When you combine that with the fact that you will be saving so much time getting ready every morning it seemed like a no brainer!
Overall, Wanda is a true artist. She has been doing this for decades and now teaches other people how to do this art. She is an esthetic eye, works incredibly fast and is extraordinarily talented. I couldn’t ask for better qualities in my permanent makeup artist.

Wanda is a true artist, it shows that’s she loves her work and she’s amazing ! She has many locations and the couple I have been the rooms are super clean and she always sterilizes everything. She has done my eyeliner, lip liner, lip color and my acne scars !! Her work is truly phenomenal ! :)

Wow! Wanda did a great job applying natural looking eyeliner. She was very professional, yet made the experience relaxed and enjoyable. I have a low tolerance for pain which made the process less then ideal. Wanda was patient and took her time to ensure I was comfortable. I went to Wanda to camouflage a scar I have on my upper lip. It took me a long time to find the Park Ridge, IL office as the address was not recognized by google maps. The office is on the second floor of a nondescript multi-​level brown building. I am a clean-​shaven male, so Wanda had to blend the color of the scar with my shaven mustache hairs. It has not yet been a day since my procedure but the scar is already 70% lest noticeable. The total cost of the procedure was $ 300 ($ 50 to set-​up the appointment, $ 250 combined for both half-​hour sessions, each spaced four weeks apart). Wanda is a very nice lady. She is talkative and did an excellent job. I highly recommend her.

Wanda is the best. Nice clean office and very professional. She is a true artist. Visited her after a consultation with Jeffrey Siegel who is working out of a dungeon basement in the city. Wanda’s permanent makeup is superior.

This was a great experience. I was extremely terrified to get my eyebrows tattooed, but as soon as I walked through the door, Wanda made me feel comfortable.
Just as Wanda said, yes, your eyebrows will look drawn on for a week, but after that first week is over, they will look amazing! She couldn’t have been more right! She also DOES NOT shave them off which is wonderful!
I highly suggest going to Wanda for your permanent cosmetic needs! She did a great job!
