Ultimate Tan

Very surprised by this place! I’ve been tanning at another salon to get a base tan before my Vegas wedding, but I was in the area of this place and they had $ 5 tan on Tuesdays, so I decided to give it a try instead of going out of my way to the usual place. Ultimate tan was very clean, nice looking beds, and they have a cd player/​radio in every room which I really appreciate! Would definitely go again!

On 6÷9÷2011, I went tanning at approximately 10:25 am. As I left the tanning room, I greeted the owner and said thank you. As I said that he told me to stop and to come back to the room. As we went to the room, he proceeded to call me dirty, filthy and rude. He demanded to see my tanning lotion and then threw it back at me. We walked to the front desk as he was complaining that he would not have me as a customer anymore. He told me he would give me my money back for the rest of the month ($ 7) and told me to leave. He told me he never wanted to see my face again and that he is a business owner and that he can not have this type of filth there. I had no idea what he was talking about. He, then, threw my money at me and told me to leave and never come back. All being said with such great attitude. I had no chance to respond, I had no chance to speak my mind. As I left, tears in my eyes, he told me he never wanted to see my face again and I was not allowed back into his business. Then under his breath, swore in Polish. I have been a loyal customer at Ultimate Tan for 6 years and I have never been told that I was messy or «filthy». No one ever told me about this problem before. No one ever confronted me. No one ever told me I had «bad lotion». No one ever informed me that I was a bad customer. Until today. I have never been spoken to with such a rude demeanor and attitude. He spoke to me with such anger and hate. I never felt so degraded in my life.

I am not an advocate of tanning, but this winter is getting me down. I need some sunshine, and I’m training for a figure show in May so I wanted to get a head start on my tan to motivate me while I workout. Anyways, it seems silly to go so far to tan, since I live in the city, but a good friend of mine swears by this place. After being burnt by more than once place, I decided to give it a try.
When I walked in, I couldn’t believe how clean the place was, and how good it smelled. The girl at the desk, Kasia, was super sweet and helped me decide on which bed to try (I go with the 600). It was a great experience, and now I’m hooked. I buy a package every few weeks, $ 45 for 150 points, and go about one or two times a week when I get the chance. I have a very busy schedule, between kids, workouts, school and my part time job — but they stay open until 11 pm during the week which is totally convienant for me. Everyone that works there has been super sweet and helpful, and for the record — I have never been burnt here and get compliments on my sun-​kissed skin all the time! Love this place!
