There was only one other table with patrons and it took 20 minutes to get a salad with grilled shrimp. When the salad showed up it was literally swimming in dressing. dressing would pour off the salad when on my fork. This was after being told dressing came on the side. I should have read the reviews first. Pricey too. It, was a $ 12 salad with iceberg lettuce.

Average food. A little overpriced. The menu doesn’t have a lot of description for items. Not sure how they stay in business. We were one of two groups there at 6pm. Weird décor for an Asian place too. Probably won’t go back. Cherry village is much better.

For $ 37 + tip we received 2 cashew chickens, 2 egg roles, 2 small soups. The soups filled about 1⁄3 way of a small cereal bowl(1 and ½ wonton), they gave us 1 rice, and are dinners we small boxes as well. Took over an hour to delivery, and the receipt did not have itemized prices on it. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. The price was what really killed us, and they nickeled and dimed us for crunchies for the soup as well as the cashews. For $ 37 dollars, it was a rip off. We will never order from hear again

One star is one too many. We were lured in by the building that seemed interesting. This Asian restaurant had a clearly Tuscan feel and décor, but who cares if the food is good?! Well… It was absolutely not. From the appetizer sampler to the duck and then the shrimp and scallops all were severely disappointing. The food was of very poor quality and the only ingredient that tasted fresh was the celery. We couldn’t bring ourselves to take any of what we were wasting home to the pets. The staff was pleasant enough if you saw them, best part was the sake.

I’ve been coming here for quite some time– the restaurant has always been very clean. Every time I have been there, the food has always been great. The beef skewers are my families favorite! Our waiter this last time was very nice and accommodating and our food was out within 10 minutes or less!

If I could give«0» stars I would. the food itself is not horrid, just not really special; it is the attitude that is so bad. My boyfriend and I would eat there occasionally but noticed that the food had begun to go downhill over time. The final straw came when we went to go there for dinner one Sunday night. I am a vegetarian and inquired about the hot and sour soup and if it too was vegetarian. The waitress said she would check and came back a moment later and said that it is. she is a liar and did not check. We each ordered our dinners which also included vegetable rolls. We were 1 of 3 couples in the entire place with 2 servers. 45 minutes later the waitress brought us our water and soup. On my 3rd spoon of soup I ended up with a pork chunk in my mouth which I spat out. we had to walk around to track down waitress who was sitting around talking to other waitress. At this point the 3rd couple left because they still had yet to receive their drinks and vocalized this to the other waitress. I told her that my supposedly vegetarian soup has pork. She peeled herself from the barstool and came back to table. She was apologetic at this point and said she would take the soup away and bring us the remainder of the food which I again confirmed that my portion is vegetarian. 15 more minutes go by and the egg rolls arrive. I went to break one open and it too has pork. I had already been to bathroom to force myself to through up the soup and my boyfriend managed to find the owner and tried to ask if I could get some Miso soup and freaking vegetable egg rolls. The manager was rude and said that the waitress was new and did not know the dishes to which my boyfriend pointed out that she had supposedly checked on the soup. NOEXPLANATION for that part but he reluctantly agreed not to charge me for the food that I did not order and would not eat but said since it was now ½ hour before closing he would not bring freaking vegetable egg rolls or Miso soup. Our food arrived and they substituted chicken for tofu in my dish. A mistake is a mistake but you apologize, rectify and move on and try to make sure it does not happen again. To do it 3 times is flat out stupidity and incompetance. End result: we spent 1.5 hours in nearly empty place to not get food that was ordered and not be offered replacement; we left hungry and it was now too late to go anywhere else; and I puked for next 3 days. Crappy service and mediocre food if food is even received. *****DONOTEATHEREEVER*****

TERRIBLE for families and customer service! We ALWAYS have to wait longer than stated for food, EXTREMELYSLOW and mildy overpriced for the portions. We went last week for my wife’s birthday. One of our children was having a bit of a tantrum about 5 minutes into our visit so we decided it was best to forgo dinner and go home. We had just ordered some sodas and, without touching them, the manager still wanted us to pay EIGHT dollars for them. Really? Mind you, if you have ever worked in the food industry you are fully aware that all the money is made on soda and alcohol. The carbonated water spliced with some flavored syrup costs about 2CENTS per 16 oz cup. Do the math. No one was more disappointed then us while trying to celebrate an occasion but to be that ridiculous over a dime’s worth of fizzy water? Combined with previous poor experiences = NEVER. AGAIN.

Wasn’t that good and service was very slow. Seems like take out is the majority of business. Wouldn’t go back again.

The food was pretty good, the prices were very fair, but the thing I liked most was the cleanliness of the restaurant! The service was not very good, but I do believe our waitress was new, so they get a pass. We will probably return.

Went in with the wife to grab a quick drink before a movie. They brought out 2 waters and they both had large bugs in the water. Yes. Bugs. As in multiple, in each glass. And they were not small — about the size of a large ladybug. Anyway, I surmise they haven’t sanitized the ice chests in a while. Needless to say, we bailed quickly. At least I’m not hungry anymore.

Food was decent, but Slowest. Service. EVER!!! An hour and a half for appetizer and entrée and we barely saw the server at all! Only come here if you are not in any hurry. Service absolutely sucks!!! Likely will not return! Sad, because I had high hopes of this being a great place.

Listen, bad Chinese places don’t stick around this long. I crack up at the reviews complaining about«authentic» Chinese food. When is the last time you went to China? Alas I digress… I like August Moon for their varied menu, Thai, Chinese and SE Asian. I never have a bad meal here and while the owners are pretty stringent about substitutions and customizations, we will go back. No many places serve Walnut Shrimp and Pad Thai on the same menu. True, I’m never«wowed», but I have never been disappointed either…

I really love the sesame chicken & hot n sour soup. It would seem that its better to do carry out because you get more food. It is a bit pricey for chinese food, however it is the best in Parker. At least that I have found; I’ll be experimenting around.

The sesame chicken is so clutch! I’ve ordered delivery and takeaway multiple times for lunch. Based on these experiences, delivery is slow but if you order takeaway you can get your food in about 15 minutes or so. So why the sesame chicken is so good is because the«breading» on the chicken is different than anything I’ve tasted before. I’m used to chinese restaurants having that doughy type of shell on the chicken. August Moon, however, wraps their sesame chicken in a wonton-like wrapper that adds a good crunch. If you like the crunchy texture on food, you’ll want to give the sesame chicken a try. All the lunch specials come with fried rice, an egg roll, and sweet and sour dipping sauce for the egg roll. The fried rice is just rice. No finely cut vegetables or meat; it really is, just fried rice. The egg roll has meat in it and it is pretty decent. The dipping sauce is not the best. I find that it lacks flavor so I usually dip the egg roll into the sesame chicken sauce instead.

Good food, crappy service. Higher priced than most. I was very disappointed last night with the service. First, the host didn’t acknowledge my mother as she waited to be seated for about 5 minutes. Finally, when I showed up, they asked if we wanted to be seated. The waitress was very inattentive and took forever to do what should have been some simple tasks like: bringing us the bill; returning with the credit cards quickly; walking by without looking at our table as I’m waving my arms as though drowning when I really wanted some chop sticks, etc… We had a coupon to buy 1 entrée get 1 entrée free. We ordered three entrees with different prices, she took the least expensive entrée off when I felt we should have gotten the middle entrée for free. I WAS a fan of this place as it was one of the more upscale Chinese restaurants in town. It’ll be a while before I come back if ever.

I had been to August Moon Asian Grill a couple times in the past. I thought that the food was decent, and wondered why the reviews seemed so low. Well, now I know. I drove by to see when the new Phở place(Yummy Phở) would be open. It is still under construction. Since I was right here, and hungry, I had lunch. It was pretty bad. The hot and sour soup was okay, but mediocre at best. The eggroll was blandly generic, other than having too much five-spice powder flavor. The garlic pork was a small serving, with giant chunks of almost raw celery. This is a dish I order fairly regularly at Chinese Restaurants and it does not usually contain celery, which I do not care for(especially large bits). FYI, hhe menu description did not mention celery. The pork was rubbery and the sauce was basically a salty gravy. The rice was quite overcooked. Nothing was inedible, but you would expect better food at a run down dollar a scoop Chinese restaurant, let alone a nice looking place like this. The interior of this restaurant is beautiful and spacious(lots of light and air). But, it is easy to see why it is never crowded.

Affordable, pleasant staff, and good food won’t destroy your guts and leave you a weeping mess on the floor of your bathroom dying from dehydration. I have come here several times — due to both it’s proximity to the movie theater and full bar located therein. The drinks are affordable — although not very strong, as the amount of alcohol in each drink is draconically and painstakingly measured with a jigger. Most of my forays here have been for booze. The interior is nice; well lit, a pleasant ambiance, and plenty of decoration. The food itself is pretty good; there is a very wide selection of different Asian cuisines with several types represented(Thai, Japanese, Hunan Style, etc. etc.) Are any of these the best I’ve ever had? No, but there are good enough and I have the option to select which I want to eat. It’s a culinary jack-of-all-trades, but master of none. I’ll come here again, but more likely than not for the bar rather than dinner; if you are looking for something better, go for any of the other restaurants in Parker that have specific cuisine offerings.

This is by far NOT the best Chinese food in Parker. I’ve driven by this place a million times, and finally dropped in because I had a coupon. Of course, I didn’t read the fine print on the coupon very well, because it was apparently a BOGO for alcohol beverages and not for entrees. You see, all the big lettering on the thing would have led you to believe it was for an entrée, but whatever… I digress. This place feels really cold. It’s not cozy at all. Granite table tops, or some kind of rock, while likely very sterile made me feel like I was eating at someone’s kitchen counter. I didn’t see any booths when I was in, just a sea of tables. From the décor it looks like they have tried really hard to make this place seem very upscale but as far as the food is concerned it’s really nothing special. The prices of some of their entrees were a bit hard to swallow. I ended up getting general tao’s chicken and my husband had cashew chicken. Our entrees were just okay. My meal wasn’t very spicy. We also tried their pan fried dumplings and those weren’t as bad as this other place I recently tried, but they weren’t notable; nor was their soup. You know how your white rice is supposed to stick together? Well it doesn’t here. The final blow really IMO is that there wasn’t even an Asian staff. When it comes to Chinese and Mexican, call me crazy, if the place doesn’t have a wait staff of the same ethnicity as the food they are serving, it’s probably not very good. I know we won’t be making this mistake again.

I’m not sure why my first review for August Moon«disappeared», but I definitely want people to get the message that the food here is NOT fresh and that the owner will be upset if you ask for anything that causes them to have to make something on the fly. We ordered veggie fried rice from here(several times) with no egg, no MSG and were dissed by the owner and finally outright scolded for asking for something they didn’t already have made up in back… This place sells Americanized Chinese food(I have been to China), and it’s not cheap, so at the very least GIVEMESOMETHINGFRESHLYMADE!

I didn’t actually eat in the restaurant, I wanted to try it and had it delivered. To me, chinese is a deliverable food, not a dine-in experience. I ordered my standard fare by which I judge all chinese restaurants on… the Mongolian Beef… it was mediocre at best. If you truly want a great plate of chinese food… then hit Johnny’s Bistro over off of Parker Road. It’s not the fancy location and surroundings that August Moon has, but it’s far better food.
