This review has to be written — I see a lot of complaints about the food and about the employees that work there and I like to think I have some answers to your questions. First off, let me start off by stating that I worked at this location for almost 2 years. I was more like a slave to this place but that’s a different story. The reason why your burgers and fries don’t taste fresh is because they arent. The manager would have the cooks prep for huge lunch rushes about 30 – 45 minutes before our normal lunch time. By prep I mean, have them cook up about 15−20ish burgers and keep them in metal cambro containers on a steamer, fry up two whole baskets of fries, onion rings, chicken tenders, etc. and keep them in warmers(by the way, fast food restaurants are supposed to use holding times to know when their product is no longer fresh– they do not. At all.) They keep this food until they run out. If you get a burger that was just cooked, I am incredibly happy for you because it is rare. I am also surprised that no one on here has complained about the«grilled» chicken salads — the chicken is pre-grilled and the company instructed us to microwave it, making it incredibly rubbery! I received so many complaints almost on a daily basis on the damn things, it was an embarassment. As for the employees, I have no answers. From my experience, all I can say is that many shady things happen behind those closed doors. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere that cares about what they are handing out. You deserve it.

Sweet Potato fries overdone and stringy, but ok i guess. I’m a big fan of the chain overall for their burgers and sammies, but just wanted to grab a snack this day — underwhelmed with my experience at this location.

Worst drive-thru experience I’ve had! Waited in line literally 20 minutes and the line did not move. Finally, we all backed out of the drive-thru, most people left, I however, went inside to find out what the hell was going on. When I entered this unfortunate place, there was no one at the counter. Eventually, I was greeted by an indifferent worker who told me they ran out of buscuits and that’s why they were not serving anyone. When she would ask the kitchen when the food would be done, the man would curse and yell back at her. What a dump. The cook was also sweating a lot and wiping it on his hands, pretty vile. Never eating at this disgusting place again.

Did not have the chicken tenders as per the casher, «the guy did not set them up for today» plus the restaurant was dirty, multiple uncleaned tables, plus had no condiments/ketchup!

This particular location is close to my office and occasionally when time is at premium I stop in here. The problem is however that the food tastes like it was made hours or days before it is served to you. I never understood how one could prepare a chicken breast to taste like shoe leather, but they have it down to a science at this Carl’s Jr. The burgers are not much better and certainly never very hot! The people that work the drive through are rude and unprofessional, they are often not able to give you a total at the order screen and nearly never at the window, they just wait for you to hand them a twenty. The parking lot is full of litter, the place smells of cigarette smoke and is in general dirty. So after several good faith visits I will save the afternoon nauseated stomach feeling, rude slow service and make more time to drive further for lunch!

I was at Carl’s Jr. Saturday morning, May 2, and was very disgusted by the language one of the supposed shift leaders was using. I believe her name tag said Bri. I know it’s just a fast food place but I would prefer not to have my meal served with a side of profanity. Not a place for children.

Consumer beware! Slow service, terrible untrained employees, disgusting food! Tried this place several times over two years, and it’s the same everytime. Food tastes like it was made yesterday which is the biggest factor with a place that serves food. All of the other locations I’ve been to are great, but this location just seems to lack in everything. Which makes me think hmm maybe management is just sitting around collecting money. I had to ask if they even serve breakfast anymore cause their drive thru menu is terrible. The entire property is full of trash and or employees smoking in the parking lot. Yes cause I want to see people smoking while handling my food. Please someone buy this place and turn it into an amazing place to eat, rather than this sorry excuse for a fast food place. All the employees just sit around and cash a check they can care less.

Waited 10 mins for a hamburger that never came. Went to get money back, no apology just«what sandwich». Thanks mr manager. Tell the other guy behind the counter to quit touching his facial hair and bagging food too, that’s just gross!

It’ll do in a pinch, just don’t order too much. The food is better than the well known fast food joints, but not by much. The chicken sandwiches are their best quality products, so pass on the fries, shake and soda. You’ll thank me a few hours later when you don’t have a greasy food baby rumbling around your stomach,

Food and price is typical for Carl’s Jr. but waiting 17 minutes for my food driving through the drive-through was not okay. As I sat there at the drive-through looking left watching a gentleman and a girl that had just arrived to work in uniform talk to a guy ordering for so long that the cook finally came out and bagged up my order and give it to me of course without the extras like dipping sauce napkins or condiments. Will not be going back here

Went through drive-thru on 4÷20÷13 around 5:15 pm. Place was dead. Service adequate, but food terrible. Fries were cold and«bottom of the barrel», burgers dried out as if they had been sitting under the heat lamp the past one or more hours. Complaint through website was acknowledged but went nowhere.

This has to be one of the great Fast food Locations. I’m speaking specifically to this one location. They are fairly quick regarding service, have yet to get an order wrong in the many visits I’ve had there, and the food always seems fresh. I used to get the turkey burger but have been changing it up a bit lately and have not been dissapointed. Also great has been the addition of sweet potato fries. A must have!

Yes, I had a coupon for a Banana Chocolate Chip Shake. Yes, it was very good. Yes, I like shakes. No, do not, I repeat, «Do Not!» order a taco, even at 2 for $ 1.00. Yucky. My advice: Go eat somewhere else and then come here for a Shake.

Grilled cheese bacon burger, tasty! That was like a grown ups version of a grilled cheese. Add a decent sized patty, bacon, cheese, and then more cheese!(They do have a few slightly healthier menu items, but you’ll have to dig through their website to find them.) This place is close to work, so it’s always an option. As long as you don’t plan on reading the nutritional information, you’ll be good.

I usually try to avoid Carl’s Jr. not because it isn’t yummy fast food, but because it is calorie packed fast food! Don’t look at the nutritional values unless you want to go into cardiac arrest :) I love their turkey burgers, chicken tenders and spicy chicken. This one off Lincoln is kind hard to get into — can you say roundabout? Nobody ever knows how to use a frikken roundabout so I always get nervous when I have to go through this one(its busy!). Still, it’s a good lunch spot. Quick, cheap and calorie packed!

Carl’s jr is the HAWT cousin that Burger King wishes he had. This location is great and would be 5 star worthy if they had a Green Burrito as well

Out of the fast food places this is my favorite burger joint. I purchased a high school sports card for $ 25 that’s good for a year. One of the items on it is buy a burger and a medium drink get a burger of equal/lesser price for free. My son and I love the Western Bacon Cheeseburgers. One secret, get extra BBQ sauce. So, I guess with this one review I’m rating two things, the HS card and Carl’s. Both get 5 stars! My son and I stop in after hockey practice and devour two WCBs(western bacon cheeseburgers) each. That’s the one time I can actually justify all the calories but, I’m convinced while Einstein had his equation: e=mc2; my equation is more basic: fat=flavor. Sometimes you just have to do it!

Love the Original Six Dollar Burger. Their fries are different than other places — a little more crispy. Easy to get to from Lincoln, especially if going east.

Carl’s Jr. isn’t normally my first choice for lunch, but there are not too many other fast food places on this part of Lincoln Ave, east of I-25. So if you are starving to death it beats standing in the 20-minute line at Subway. The food here is about what you expect — not bad, but not 5 Star French cuisine either. At least their French fries are usually served hot! For sandwiches it’s hard to find anything that isn’t loaded with calories. I usually go with the Chicken Club(560 calories) or Teriyaki Burger(600 calories). Many of their burgers have 900+ calories. The service is friendly but really shaky some days. One time I got the completely wrong order. Another time I got the wrong beverage and wrong size of fries. Going inside isn’t any faster service even if the drive-in line is 7 cars deep. They don’t have much competition in this immediate area, so I keep going here about once/week.
