Not a bad place to grab a brew in Parker, that being said the service wasn’t all that impressive. You walk in, and it’s not apparent whether or not you seat your self, or wait for someone to seat you. There was only one person working, who was the one working behind the bar, and the place was packed.

We are mug club members here and love the place. Monday has happy hour from 5 – 6 and you can get a flagship pint for just $ 3! Wednesdays they always tap a firkin that is some unique flavor twist on one of their normal beers. They usually have a food truck in the parking lot. If you like Colorado craft beer stop in for a visit!

Came back after sometime absent. Had a Cocaireacht coffee stout which should be dumped down the drain; vinegar off taste with trace of coffee. The trip was saved by the elk horn stout which was a pretty decent stout.

We have been to Elk Mountain several times but their beer has been going down hill. We took some friends there and the beer was even worse than before. Two of us ordered the coffee stout and had to send it back. There was no coffee flavor and it was actually going bad and tasted like vinegar. The bartender said it was a little astringent but the last time I checked, astringent and vinegar was not in the flavor profile of a stout. We drove down to Hall Brewing and had some good beer. If you go I would start with tasters before you commit to a 12 oz. glass.

The beer is the main reason you come here. There’s a good variety, but their Puma IPA is the best in the area. The atmosphere is friendly and promotes interaction among patrons. I can come with a group or by myself and I’ll always have a good time. Their staff is knowledgable, friendly and conversational. It’s one of the better breweries for watching sporting events, especially in Parker. This is a good place to hang out on a Friday night or chill on a Sunday afternoon.

We found ourselves a little further south than normal and I suddenly remembered that I’ve had this place bookmarked for a minute, so we decided to make the trip. We came in during a football game, the place wasn’t terribly crowded but it was very loud with the fans. We grabbed a table and were greeted immediately.(I’m hoping I remember correctly I think her name was Emily.) She was real friendly and real fast. We tried a flight, including the Ute, the Puma, the Stout and the Red Head IPA. I liked them all, the stout had a really great robust flavor and the Red Head was a clean and easy drinking one. They were out of the amber and alas, the brown which I was excited about. They do have a food truck that parks out front as well. I liked this place, I was really happy with the service and the beers and despite the distance I’m willing to come back. Cheers!

Very good service on a Saturday afternoon. Love the atmosphere. The elk logo on each table awesome. Able to carry on a conversation without shouting. Several of the beers have sour characteristics. Also several beers meet style and are good. Go for your palate!

Pretty good beers but be advised you will not be served. There’s tons of tables but if you’re sitting at one you won’t get served. They always seem under staffed so you’re fighting everyone else in the place for the 1 bartender’s attention to get a beer. If you want yummy beer and have no agenda, sure this place is fine.

I’m a regular at this place. The service is good and the beer is good and consistent. They usually have a food truck outside if you’re hungry and it’s close to my house. I only wish they had more beer selections.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon, our friends really wanted the food from the Bahn Mi truck and it was at Elk. I got a flight of beers, 7 of them at $ 1 each for 4oz glasses. Our friends got the Amber at $ 5 each. Most of the beers were pretty tasty. We received our beers really quickly, it wasn’t busy so that makes sense, then we never really saw the bar maid again. One of us called out to her for another beer, she cleared our glasses except for the huge flight tray which was empty. We had all empty glasses on the table for ages and she didn’t come near us again so I just went to the bar and asked for the bill. In total 4 beers, 2 pepsi’s and the flight came to $ 29 before the tip.

Okay walk up to some older man in the parking lot bleeding from what looks like a fight or something with about 5 others standing around him. Beers were okay nothing great to say kinda seems like I might need to get a tetanus shot

Out where I live, craft breweries are few and far between. The ones that are out here, have either funky hours, are too packed to have a beer inside, or don’t have very many beers on tap. Elk Mountain Brewing is close to home, has plenty of seating, and has a lot of beers on tap. Add in some free popcorn, and good background music and i’m sold! Try them out if you’re in the area!

An absolutely great establishment! We stopped off to check out the local brewery and we were very impressed. The setup is a little industrial with a scattering of light colored wood to give it a great aesthetic. The brewer and the assistant brewer came out and chatted with us for probably 30 minutes. They discussed what went into the different varieties and how they got into brewing. We ended up buying a growler of dampfbier before we left. The brewer told us the history of the brew and the taste was too good to pass up. They had a food truck that provided some burgers and appetizers but apparently they rotate through a bunch of trucks throughout the month. The folks running it when we went were fun and had a great sense of humor. Overall this was a great experience and I’d recommend it to anyone traveling through the area.

We are visiting the area and stopped in for one quick one, but it was a good one! Liquid Assets, an excellent 2XIPA. The space is modern, but it has a good pub feel to it. There was a pizza food truck outside, and a patio out back. We plan to return several times before we leave town.

For my first visit, I had a pretty good experience. Service was decent. Space is big with a little bit of a theme to it. And even if I didn’t love all the beers, I do appreciate the beers all being very distinct and flavor forward. That’s one of the most important jobs of a craft brewery is to brew distinct beers that are recognizable– Elk Mountain does that. Unsurprisingly, my favorite was their seasonal Imperial Cherry Stout– smooth with just the right cherry flavor. However, at 8% I wasn’t able to have more than one since I also did a full flight of all their beers. Of their flagship beers, I enjoyed the stout the most. My drinking companion enjoyed their pale ale and stout the best. They were out of the brown which made me sad. Their amber was ok but unmemorable. The kolsch was pretty good, if a touch too sweet. And the IPA and wheat are never my thing, but both were tolerable. Their dampfbeir was super sweet, way more than most weiss beers I’ve experienced before. And their mojito firkin was awful and awesome, all at the same time. The first tastes we had were very lime-y, super acidic, but the last tastes we had, all we could taste was the mint. We kept coming back to it, undecided if we hated it or love it– I’m still not sure. I would definitely come here again, and as it’s one of a couple breweries equidistant between me and a friend, I’m sure this won’t be the last time I’m here.

Cool brewery décor and good beer. Too long of a drive from Denver but Parker folks are lucky to have a good brewery near by. I cannot say I am a fan yet, the Imperial Cherry Stout was very yummy but I just did not feel it quite yet. Keep on working on your brews, add some nitro and better saisons, experiment! Suburban breweries are lucky since they have a steady flow of suburbans and don’t face the competition Denver-based breweries do. However, this does not mean they have to settle and produce average good beer. It has to be great if it is in Colorado.

So my big gripe with Elk Mountain in past has been I haven’t enjoyed the beer. But this last visit there were at least 5 different seasonals on tap that were fun and different and most importantly GOOD! Hurray a local nano brewery that serves up the elixir of life for all those thirsty Coloradans. Bring a buddy, grub and good attitude on over to Elk Mountain and enjoy the bar, games and patio. Yay! I’m a fan.
