Great food and great service! The owner was very friendly and we will come back every time. The breakfast burritos were amazing and the mandarin Moscow mule was perfect! Highly recommend!

The food here really hits the spot. Try their chile verde breakfast burrito, it’ll make your morning better. They also have alcohol if you’re in the mood. A great little café for any time by the river.
Also, the service here was phenomenal; they were very friendly, helpful, and really take care of their customers!

Once again the best Burger in town !! I have lived in Parker 14 years a transplant from San Fernando Valley. I have had my share of good burgers I can’t get enough the flavor the bun it’s amazing if you know what you want tell them… you will not have a bad experience.

This review is for the Angus Burger and Homemade Fries.
Don’t get a burger here. JA’s burger was the most over priced under delivered hamburger I’ve had in a long time. The Angus burger with a slice of cheese was about $ 8 bucks. Not cheap. The patty wasn’t seasoned well (if at all), it’s on the smallish side, and the «thousand island dressing» that was put on the bun tasted worse than if it was out of a bottle. The lettuce, tomato and onion were fresh but you’d have to be trying pretty hard to mess that up. This burger is deff not worth $ 8.
The homemade fries were the worst thing I’ve seen or eaten ever! The were soggy, burnt, and again had no seasoning or flavor to them. And they’re not cheap btw. It was clear the cook had no idea how to make crispy french fries at all.
My $ 12 lunch for a burger and fries was a real disappointment which sucks because I really wanted to have a nice local business to go to when I’m in Parker as I have a place down the road. Looks like if I want a decent burger it’s back to Bobby D’s!
I’ve heard the pizza is good but after my burger experience I don’t think I’ll be spending any time or money there in the future.

Good spot for lunch. The not a Reuben was prime. Hope this joint stays open. Next time I’m in Parker I’ll be back.

Food was overwhelmingly greasy and soggy including the fries. Great service but overpriced. I’ll not be back!

The restaurant itself is quite small, with only a few tall 2-​seater tables lining the windows and a bar across the front– but it’s very clean! Every time I go, it’s packed with people waiting outside (which only suggests that everyone loves the food!) so instead of waiting, I always call in my order and pick up. I always get the same girl who is young, tall, tattooed and awesome! She’s quick, super friendly and as sweet as ever. (Wish I knew her name!)
I always order a basic cheeseburger with fries, however this is anything but basic. I’m pretty sure they bake their brioche buns on sight (don’t quote me on that) because they are so delicious and fresh. The meat patty’s are huge, and cooked to perfection, but let’s not forget to mention how deliciously seasoned it was! All that together makes for a perfect burger. One of my all time faves! That’s saying a lot since I live in Southern California full time– home to some of the top burgers in the country.
The fries are also seasoned perfectly and so crispy and fresh as well. I’ve ordered the onion rings there before– simply delicious! My husband’s favorite is to order a cheeseburger and add pastrami to it, which they are more than happy to accommodate. It ends up being a HUGE burger afterwards. :)
Anyone in Parker knows it’s hard to find some quick and delicious food, so this place is definitely the perfect stop for lunch and dinner!

I’ve never had a bad meal at JA Johnny’s Café. The «Not a Reuben» is hands down the best Reuben sandwich I have ever eaten.

The burgers are awesome! Everything, including the patty was fresh not frozen! Fries were great! Gelato was delicious! Great find in Parker, AZ!

We just ordered the Meat Pizza and large dinner salad to split, It was super good. We have eaten one other time here (after the FLOG game) and got sandwiches which were also wonderful. Place is very clean, owner is friendly and approachable and the food is some of the best in Parker. Thank you J A Johnny’s for being there and providing us a great place to eat!

Had a great bacon cheeseburger! Everyone in our group ordered the same & were impressed with the quality & taste. Fries were good too, as well as the fried pickles.

Spent a few days at the river recently. Didn’t feel like cooking, so I ate several meals at JA Johnnys. Each meal was delicious and as good or better than I could make at home. With such reasonable prices and cocktails too there is no reason to cook on vacation. And they deliver too. !!

Great pizza and great service. we would’ve given them 5 stars but the locals act like idiots and try and make «visitors» uncomfortable which is really too bad considering the visitors are the ones that pay the bills and spread the good word about your business!

This place is awesome. Walking distance from jt’s in the keys. Really good food and the pizza is awesome

My roommate was always talking about how bomb diggity their «Not A Reuben» sandwich is, so one afternoon my husband, roommate and I headed over here and got a bite. All of our orders were great with a short waiting time. The fries are totally awesome! Think In-​N-​Out! Fresh cut and thin, but you should eat them first so they don’t get soggy! The gelato is also good– I ordered the salted caramel!
It’s a small place, but the seating outside is ok as long as it’s not too windy!

This café is the only place I eat every time I come to the river! Not only is the owner the nicest guy, his place has the BEST burgers, pizzas, sandwiches & desserts. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu & have not been disappointed. Make sure you try the monkey bread & cheesecake! They’re full bar is definitely a plus :)

I LOVE this place. Wonderful staff, excellent food, and a full bar. We come here for burgers every time we’re in Parker now. Glad to see (after all these years) another amazing owner take over after «Karen’s» place shut down.
Also highly recommend the Gelato! Yum!

Great service, friendly staff, best burgers on the river. Surprised there’s finally a decent place to come eat at in Parker. The only downside is that seating is sparse and the space is small. They have a full bar too which is awesome. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a good burger in Parker. I’ll be trying their pizza next time.
