Lowe’s Home Improvement

Well, for years I’ve been coming to this Lowe’s and have been very pleased with the service at this store. I’ll pay a bit more money here to avoid the Home Depot down the street, however my last 3 visits this week have been ruined by the lack of passion to assist me with locating products.
For example, I stood in at the lumber projects desk waiting to be helped while the guy casually leaned against the desk typing away on his phone, didn’t even notice me! I walked over to the young kid standing at the register and he didn’t have a clue as to what I wanted. He had to ask the guy that was busy on his phone to help me.
Second example– I needed to get info on the Samsung washer and dryer. The lady working in that area was standing around hollering to a co-​worker. I waited a moment thinking it might be important, once I got the clue that she was just giving him «crap» for taking her phone I decided to interrupt her to get the info I needed.
Now the only reason I’m giving this a two star is because I ended up buying the washer and dryer I wanted and the delivery people were very informative. I was pleased with their expertise. The only draw back was that the person that ordered my washer and dryer ordered me the Merlot color not the platinum. Wasn’t a huge disappointment it was a toss up between both colors.
Clearly something is going on at this location and they might need a simple check in on employees to see if they are happy.
Sad to say, but I’ve gone to Home Depot twice this week and received the best customer service ever from the Parker store. I was shocked, I might have to start going back to Home Depot just based on the last two experiences.

I purchased a washer and dryer and 2 pedestals at this location last week and requested an early delivery as my son leaves for college tomorrow morning. They didn’t have one of the pedestals, but promised to deliver the washer, dryer and the pedestal for the washer today and send the second pedestal on the 23^rd. This morning when I didn’t hear from Lowe’s on the delivery window, I called them and was told that we weren’t even on their delivery schedule for today and that the computer had messed up and put in everything to be delivered on the 23^rd, and that there was no way they could deliver it today. I was really upset to hear this because I had all of my son’s clothes piled up and was planning to do his laundry and packing tonight. However in about 20 minutes the lady called up and said that the delivery manager had rescheduled some of his other deliveries and worked this out and would have the appliance to us before noon today. I want to give a huge shout out to the delivery manager– for going above and beyond to fix this and for being humane enough to understand my situation. Thank you.

Showing how unorganized leadership continues to be at lowes in Parker! This is why I quit shopping here and went to Home Depot after we moved here. Build and grow project at 10 today and the employee said someone called in sick. They weren’t prepared for the kids. We only come here for these projects, guess we’ll start doing those at HD too. They had to have the parents set it up and hand out the kits!

The staff here are always helpful. Looking for something and can’t find it just ask they will actually walk you right to it.

I purchased a Fridgidare oven and stove. The price was excellent. However the company they use to install the product did a horrible job. I hope to get all of my money back because the Lowe’s assistant Manager, Lou was not willing to make the contractor fix the problem. Guess I’ll spend my money at another company… Poor customer service Lowe’s! You can do better. At least find a better contractor.

Hubs needed to run some errands in this part of Neighborhood and require some supplies. Hence to this Lowe’s we went. That recent visit was on Sunday December 21^st 2014. Time was about 11:55hrs ish. YES, this establishment is stocked up and the pricing of some items is comparable as to other items Hubs found at other Lowe’s location. We don’t mind returning when needed since Hubs like this Lowe’s. 3.5 stars at best for this Lowe’s.

Not only is it close to my home but the store is how many years old and still seems new. Also seems like one of the larger stores with lots of inventory and selections. I prefer this Lowe’s over the Parker Home Depot. I’ve used this location to ship online orders and their system works well and is efficient.

In my opinion, Lowes tends to have a little better selection than Home Depot for decorative type stuff. I’ve purchased ceiling fans and recently an artificial Christmas tree there, and felt that their selection was much better than HD. But the reason I write this review is to commend two extra helpful employees that assisted me with getting a massive 9 foot tree into my sedan. The male employee that checked me out immediately disappeared. An employee named Bön Jolie saw that I was struggling to get it into my car and immediately came over and took charge of the situation. She whipped out her utility knife, suggested that we take it out of the box, took off one of my seat headrests, and helped me cram all of the pieces and the flattened box into my car. An employee named Jackie also came over to help us. I would have never made it home with the tree without these fantastic employees. Thank you, Bön Jolie and Jackie!

I will always shop at Lowes! After a horrible experience with Home Depot, I called Lowes in Parker to see if I could get a washer and dryer delivered the next day. Home Depot laughed at me but Eric Austin in Appliances was the NICEST man and not only did he not laugh, he said, no problem! We did the entire thing over the phone and as a mother of twins, I appreciated that I didn’t have to go in to make my purchase. Eric hooked me up with a samsung washer and dryer delivered the next day. They are amazing AND we saved over $ 500 bucks from home depot’s rip-​off prices. After this experience, I will never shop anywhere else. I have gone back to purchase upgrades for my home and have spent over $ 4000.00 total there. Everyone was professional, helpful, knowledgable and so nice. Pat at the store followed me around to help me with all of my purchases and knew so much about so much! I was amazed at the great customer service. Thank you Lowes for that small hardware store feel with great availability and outstanding service!

Good prices. Friendly service. Usually find whatever it is that we have gone in to look for. Nursery department is a first stop each spring for our family.

They give 10% discount to military. It has the regular hardware store selection. The staff and management are helpful.

I typically shop @ Home Depot but customer service there has gone down hill. I was looking for a good deal on appliances, which I found @ Lowe’s. I went to Home Depot to see if they could match the quote I received @ Lowe’s and they couldn’t. The prices posted are what you will pay. Lowe’s will work with you. Don’t waste your time @ HD.

Perfectly fine, gigantic Lowe’s… just like all the other ones. It’s very clean inside and the shelves are well-​stocked, but the selection is not always very wide. Most recently, we came in hoping to find a sale on reel mowers, but they didn’t appear to have any. Even the gas mower selection was very limited; they had about three different models. Plenty of staff walked past, but didn’t offer to help us find what we needed. We walked out without purchasing anything. The service really makes a difference when it comes to chain stores, and this store did nothing to impress us.

This is the worst Lowe’s I’ve ever been to. Mys husband and I just built a deck and I needed a few more supplies. I called and called and called and no one answered the phone and when they did I was transferred to a black hole. Finally went in because they had a product I couldn’t get any where else. I asked for help as 5 people stood around chatting it up. Terrible customer service!

It’s Lowes; period! If you need home improvement info and stuff they have it!

Place is nice. Really clean and the associates are friendly. Will take back anything which is a plus when doing home improvement and going back and forth.

I tend to like Lowe’s stuff a bit more than Home Depot and so when we are doing home improvement we might start at HD, but end up buying at Lowes. Apparently, Parker people are Lowe’s people too because this is the busiest Lowe’s I have ever been too (the one by Southlands is always a little dead). However, busy mean lots of employees to help you and they usually have everything you need in stock! All a plus!

I like Lowe’s much more than Home Depot. The staff is friendly and items seem to be a little easier to find.
Prices are good. We recently purchased some faux wood blinds and found them cheaper here than anywhere else, even online. They even cut them to size while you wait at no additional charge.

Yes, I know that Lowe’s is a bit more expensive than Home Depot. That said, they also have nicer stuff for sale and the sales staff is nicer. I still won’t by painting equipment at either place. If you want good paint or good painting equipment, go to Guiry’s or Sherwin Williams. I have never been in this store and found a line with more than two people in it, can’t beat that.

I’ve only been to this Lowes a couple times as there’s another one within a half mile of my house, but if I need to stop somewhere on the way home, this is the place to go.
They’re technically in Parker, but truly they’re off of Lincoln and 20 Mile, so it’s not really too far off the beaten track.
I ordered something online and did the instore pickup (guaranteed 20 minutes!) and when I got here and handed my receipt to the guy at the front desk he had it out in short order.
Really no complaints about this location
