Cancelled first appointment an hour before arrival. Never showed up for the rescheduled appointment, for which I had taken time off work. I wanted to use a small, local company but Matlock certainly disappointed.

Our builder placed a high efficiency furnace/AC unit for our upstairs part of home in the attic. This is good because it acts like a zoned system separate from the main floor. However, I came to find out from Jared that a high efficiency unit doesn’t work well in the attic because the space is unconditioned and a byproduct of a high e furnace is water. So we had frozen broken drain pipes. Jared repaired all the damaged fixtures and implemented some fixes so that it wouldn’t happen again. That was four years ago and we haven’t had an issue since.

We are an active duty military family who recently moved into a rental property in Parker, CO. After a string of very hot days we noticed the AC was starting to work less efficiently and then on one 90 degree day it stopped work all together which may have been tolerable for most of us in the house, however we have a two yr old with uncontrolled asthma and when the AC goes out her airways constrict and she has acute asthma attacks. Since toddler airways are small to begin with one asthma attack could have potentially devastating consequences. After I explained our situation to Kellie, Matlock’s secretary, she immediately called Jared Matlock and he was at our door within one hour, a God send, because in the dead of summer every other HVAC repair business was booked out by weeks. Jared and his associate not only seemed greatly interested in our daughter’s health first and foremost he addressed and fixed our immediate problem just as a lightening storm was approaching and followed up on a Sat with a phone call to check on us and then a surprise visit to check on the unit that afternoon. In our many moves throughout the country with the USAF we have never seen such exemplary customer service. On top of that their fees for service are very competitive and reasonable. We would not only highly recommend Matlock Heating and Cooling to all of our military friends locally we will recommend them to ANYONE in Parker, CO area. Five stars in not enough to rate this business.
