Nomelie Cupcakes

The service was great but the cupcake was not. I purchased a chocolate peanut butter cupcake. Great flavor, rich but just too dry. There was a small amount of peanut butter cream in the middle, maybe 1 teaspoon. Unlike most of the cupcakes that were in the case this one didn’t actually have frosting. It looked like it had icing covered with peanut butter pieces. It turns out that it was a thin layer of hard icing covered mostly with cocoa. I’ve had really good cupcakes here in the past but today they fell short.

Simply put — the best tasting cupcakes. Selection, taste, freshness, frosting, quality — all top notch. Since the new owners took over a year and half ago, this business has skyrocketed. Improved quality of cupcakes while providing excellent customer service. Nomelie owners also do a lot of charitable work, donating cupcakes to local high school organizations, senior homes, and patients in hospitals, etc.

What happened to this place? When they first opened the quality was so much better. I am thinking there was a change of ownership/​management? Called to see what flavors were on the menu and the phone was taken off the hook. nice
Got there and the cupcakes tasted stale. They used to pride themselves in making these in small batches to maintain freshness. Guess they don’t anymore. Not worth the money. Will go elsewhere going forward.

Went there last Friday afternoon. Cupcakes used to be delicious –we live in Parker and have purchased from them in the past. Bought 3 different flavored cupcakes to go. Each one incredibly dry (read: at least a day old) and lacking whatever flavor they were supposed to contain. Seriously: they had to be at least a day old. Will NOT go back. VERY disappointing.

Cup cakes are to die for! The new owners are beyond friendly and their community outreach is amazing! Also, my daughter has a peanut-​allergy and they were able to accommodate her… which scored big points with me!

I first encountered Nomelie during Parker Days Festival (my first). I met the fairly new owners. What a lovely, warm, and inviting family they are. I thought I normally didn’t really like cupcakes… until I tasted these wondrous delicacies. I tried several different kinds. They were not dry at all… moist but not mushy. And the amazing variety of creative flavors, light and subtle, sweet but not too sweet, were a most welcome surprise. I’m so glad I was able to experience their special touch. You have got to check them out!

We went in because we wanted some gourmet cupcakes. We were a little surprised at the price because the cupcakes are really small. Oh well, maybe they are amazing? We bought 4 and it added up over $ 14. When we got home and cut into them they weren’t fresh and the one that’s we bought because they had some fancy filling or flavors were underwhelming. The strawberry champagne — couldn’t taste the champagne and the strawberry was literally jarred strawberry jelly. Save your money and just go to a grocery store bakery. Your cakes will be fresher and at least your expectations won’t be as high with such a high price tag.

What can I say about this place since the new owners took over besides the fact that the cupcakes are delicious? Let’s see… there is an awesome rewards program, there are so many choices for people with food restrictions which was awesome when my MIL came to visit. She doesn’t eat gluten, soy, or nuts and she was able to actually walk in and have a fair amount of cupcakes to choose from, the prices are pretty darn good, it’s decorated in the cutest shabby chic décor, there’s a Little Free Library inside so you can sit and read a book, the customer service is great, and the owners are very involved in giving back to the local Parker community. It just doesn’t get much better than this place. If you haven’t been, come down and try a Vanilla Love or my new fav Orange Creamsicle. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped in during the blizzard last week. The cupcakes were divine and Sylvia was so nice and welcoming:) The vanilla cupcake was amazing.

Our family loves this place… we believe in supporting local business and this business believe in supporting the community! The service is excellent. we had a special order for our grandchildrens 1^st birthday and they worked with us on a theme. The cupcakes were delicious!

Having a teenage daughter, we eat a lot of cupcakes. We have tried all the popular shops all over the Denver metro. We always come back here. Not only are they the best, but the service is so warm and welcoming. The new owners really did an excellent job turning this place around.

Good cupcakes, but they could order a bulk deal or even a party package… little pricey if you order bulk they charge you the price of one cupcake.

We visited for the first time this weekend. The folks were very friendly and helpful. But the cupcakes — good in theory, but tasted like they were several days old. The frosting was going sour, and the cake was awful and dry. Not sure if it was a fluke, but we ordered 4 different types and they all had the same stale flavor. For nearly $ 4 a cupcake, I was hoping for something baked fresh that day!

Delicious or what?! I was in Parker one day and after reading reviews I chose Nomelie over the other cupcake shop that was highly rated. I’m so glad I did. They were pretty close to perfect, icing’s sweet but not too sweet & the right amount, very well balanced.
The very friendly lady was very informative. I also let her know that apple maps has their location wrong and on the wrong side of the street so hopefully she’ll get that sorted soon.
I took 4 cupcakes to go, butterscotch, mexican chocolate, banana & mocha. Their prices are $ 2 for yesterdays, $ 3 for today’s & about $ 3.50 or $ 4 for ones with fillings. I think that’s pretty good in comparison to other places I’ve been. They also offer loyalty cards & a club program so every 10 visits or so you get a free something (I can’t remember if she said it was a big or mini cupcake)
Banana: Super yummy & super moist, great banana flavor. I thought the icing was meant to be cream cheese but I must have been wrong because It didn’t taste like it. Either that or it’s mixed with a bit too much sugar.
Mexican Chocolate: Really yummy but I didn’t really get the cinnamon flavor.
Mocha: My husband said that it was great. Really tasted like Mocha & although it was from yesterday it was still really fresh.
I sent the butterscotch one with him to work today, but I think from previous tastings, I think it’ll be pretty awesome.

Amaaaaazing! Great tasting, moist, fresh cupcakes with the perfect amount of delicious frosting on top. Super excited to have found a quaint, locally owned cupcake shop near my home that offers outstanding service with a smile to round out their awesomeness!

I’ve been here once before a few years ago, and I really loved the cupcake that I got. My favorite cupcake flavor is red velvet, and the one I got back then had the most amazing frosting.
I came here again today, but why did I decide to do so? We got a coupon for a free cupcake in the mail. I ended up forgetting the coupon at home, but that’s okay because when you check in here you get a buy four get one free coupon!
The service was amazing. There was a private children’s party going on and I didn’t even realize they were closed. The worker told us it was okay and we could still get some cupcakes. Score! He was really nice about everything, and helped us pick out some cupcakes. We ended up getting 1 vanilla, 2 chocolate, 1 red velvet, and one carmel cupcake.
The cupcake was super good. The icing on mine was that super sweet cream cheese frosting, and it was so rich I couldn’t eat the entire cupcake at once!
The overall feel of this little cupcake place is very nice. It’s simple and casual, but it all works so well together. We didn’t stay for long because of the birthday party, but it was very cute.
My review up in one word: Amazing!

Really good cupcakes!!! Their product and prices are awesome! I wish they had more selection on hand, I’m an impulse buyer for sweets, I would buy more! I love creative cupcakes. I will be in tomorrow to get some. I’m so excited!!! With it being Mother’s Day, maybe they will add something lime or wedding cake like? Hint, hint! Wonderful, old fashioned service reminds me of the Parker I love. Cupcakes, here I come!!! Thank you guys!!!

This is our first trip to Parker, Colorado and what a great trip it has been. Among the super finds for us has been Nomelie Cupcakes. We met the owners and were treated like royalty. We learned a great deal about the business (which they bought in December of 2014 so some of those older reviews are just pointless.)
Nomelie Cupcakes is truly a fine and fun place. We have already been there twice and plan to celebrate my birthday with some great cupcakes instead of a birthday cake.

Since the new owners took over the quality of this cupcake experience has vastly improved. The clearly business savvy owners have made this local cupcake shop a destination for Main Street goers. From the down home charm of the employees, to the coupon/​incentive programs to keep you coming back over and over, I give them kudos for the newly implemented policies.
However, none of this matters if your product is sub-​par. Happy, (and a little sad for my waistline) to report these cupcakes hit the mark. The raspberry champagne cupcake is just ridiculous, seriously the best cupcake I have ever tasted, ever. The red velvet rivals any from other pro bakeries out there. Then the innovate flavors that arrive weekly are all out of this world from what I can tell. Majorly excited to try the GF and upcoming Vegan flavors. Keep it up!
