Rivers Edge Cantina

We have given this place 3 tries… We love the view! However the service is horrible. The last time we went there we took a friend who was visiting from out of town and we sat there while we were completely ignored by the waitress. The food is fair at best! But would be acceptable if you could just enjoy the view, have a drink or two and wait for food… When you can get a drink… They are always understaffed and staff that is there just doesnt seem to give a damn! BAD management!

It is walking distance from Blue Water Resort and Casino and the boat docks. Since I was staying at the hotel, I figured my boyfriend and I could walk there to the Cantina so we showed up Saturday night mostly because we were hungry. It was busy and they seemed understaffed. I asked a waitress that I wanted to order food and If I could have a table and she directed me to a room. Bascially If you wanted food, there was a self service area, which was tucked away, far from the music and ambiance. We waited in line for about 20 minutes and left. If I would have been sitting at a table, I could have had a drink and been ok with waiting on food, maybe even had another beer while the music played.
I wanted to give it a second shot so we showed up in the morning for breakfast. It was greasy but when you’re hungover, it was just what the doctor ordered. The service was completely different. Still seemed understaffed but the waitress was very nice and attentive. We were seated, ordered food and it was good.
