I make quilts as one of my hobbies and they are expensive to have quilted. Actually I should say I piece quilts for a hobby and I have them quilted by others. I have tried a few local shops and some shops in Southern Missouri where we vacation a lot, but I have never found a place as good as Secret Stash Quilting in Commerce City, CO. I finish piecing my quilt and ship them to him via UPS ground which is inexpensive. He has tons of patterns or he will get you a special pattern if he doesn’t have the one you want. I had him get a special pattern for me on one of my quilts and his custom quilting charge is $ 0.03 per square inch, which is a great price for custom. His pricing is great compared to what I have paid in the past locally. It is cheaper for me to mail it to him to quilt and have him ship it back. His pricing ranges from $ 65-$ 100 for basic stipple and for Edge to Edge $ 85-$ 145 and then if you want him to attach a binding that is an extra charge. I always attach my own. He is fast and very good, I can’t stress enough how beautiful my quilts have turned out. He will get all my business for now on.
